I posted it a while back but as a few of you know I moved to Maine for the summer to fly skydivers. So far I have only had one day actually flying them because it has rained for a solid week straight. With that being said I fucking love it up here! The day I did get in flying was amazing. The airport isn't to far from Baxter state park and mt katahdin, the start of the Appalachian trail. My baby View from my office The rain finally broke today and we didn't have any jumpers so I went in search of a moose. The mountain ende up having fresh snow on it. Found a moose!!!! And moose poop! Sorry for the shitty iPhone pictures. My first big paycheck will go towards a nice camera. I will post more pictures as the season goes on. Thursday I get to go white water rafting. With all the rain the rivers have been crazy so it should be a good time.

Long story short the previous owner of my bike decided it was better to super glue the corner of the stomp grips vs. buying a new pair for $50. so queston I have is how do I remove it without removing the paint? I have a new pair that I would like to get on before the Gap trip but really dont want to just cover this up and also don't want to apply something that is going to eat my paint. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I like them, very cool for the foot and they have good protection. I wouldn't wear them under 45 degrees though... Feet would FREEZE!!! I went down in them on the mini-track... Took some toe rash to the boot but my foot was perfectly fine!!!

Sandusky is right next to my hometown. I've never actually attended this event. I've only ever been irritated with all the traffic issues it causes. That said, all the people I know that attended were drunk and riding, which means I will NEVER attend this event. I'm not saying that people shouldn't go, just be very careful and stay extra alert. Just my .02

Things that bug me, more so than the rest that bug me, list is long so Ill go with the couple that bug me the most. 1) why do I have to double click every fucking thing? 2) why does the damn shout box keep putting the red number at the top of my page of the new posts there when I don't even use it. I have to read the crap to get the number gone. 3) I use full site, don't like mobile sites of anything. When I click back and forth to pages or wake phone back up, go between FB and OR ect half the time it switches back to mobile and then I have to switch it back to full. Why can't it just stay on full? 4) why can't mark read be at the top like it used to be by the new posts, pia to scroll to bottom everytime to mark read. 5) why does new content not alway bring up new content? Sometimes it brings up new members, new albums, new what the fuck ever. Can't it just bring up new posts period like it used to? Might be part of why posts are down here lately I'm sure I can't be the only one who gets tired of trying to find the new posts and gives up to go do something else. I wouldn't count your chickens until they've hatched. Just because an investigator has suggested that they are at fault doesn't mean they are gonna pay out. Save screenshots of the CL ads and do your homework, but I wouldn't expect them to be real flexible even if they do pay out. I wouldn't expect them to offer you more than what they determine to be fair market value and I expect if you argue about it they might tell you to piss off. If you didn't actually have a policy, they don't actually owe you a thing as harsh as that sounds. In the future, don't throw a leg over the bike unless you have an insurance card and a policy signed and in hand. A receipt is a good thing to have too.

Hi there, have just joined the forum after having seen your Virago project, have the same model as yours, 1982 vintage, this is being mildly modified at the moment, ie. smaller indicators remove the rear light, straight bars, will be building my own two into one exhaust system, also have a 1981 model but this will be built in a much more radical way, first started in 1984 with a Virago engine built into a harley hardtail frame in a flattracker style, tank was off a kawasaki moped and the forks off a honda XL 250, hopfully if I have done it right you should be able to see the photo,s, you were asking about single carb for a Virago, if you look on the web for Dr piston Virago tech. this should help you

330racing and myself also went May 1... and we witnessed probably the funniest thing I've seen on a motorbike to date. 3 kids were slow dragging in the back parking lot, one kid falls and face plants head first into his buddies bike... was absolutely hilarious and my explanation doesn't even give it half the hilarity factor that it actually had.
