Rode to work no problem. Rode home no problem. Now the bike won't start. Tried in gear, in neutral. Kickstands up, kickstand down. Ended up push starting it and it still won't start like normal. Yes the kill switch is on run Could it be the starter or starter solenoid? Any help is appreciated. Definitely need help before the gap trip.1 point

Sorry about your brother, but threats of violence such as these have no place on this forum.1 point

Long story short the previous owner of my bike decided it was better to super glue the corner of the stomp grips vs. buying a new pair for $50. so queston I have is how do I remove it without removing the paint? I have a new pair that I would like to get on before the Gap trip but really dont want to just cover this up and also don't want to apply something that is going to eat my paint. Any help would be greatly appreciated!1 point

I think OhioRiders has a younger ( at heart ) population as the majority, whereas RideOhio seems to be a more controlled and mature crowd. Where we have booze induced hot tub jello and gun fights, they just have the hot tubs They're powerchairs and beer, we're turbocharged segways and moonshine1 point

Sandusky is right next to my hometown. I've never actually attended this event. I've only ever been irritated with all the traffic issues it causes. That said, all the people I know that attended were drunk and riding, which means I will NEVER attend this event. I'm not saying that people shouldn't go, just be very careful and stay extra alert. Just my .021 point

This will be the fourth time we've done this charity. Everything is donated to my uncle and aunt who his only two children are very autistic. TMI his oldest, the daughter, is not expected to be with us much longer, but that doesn't need to be said around him. We stopped doing this run and once we found out about that, we are going to make this a surprise for them to help out with medical bills and what not. There will be prizes and shirts and blah blah blah, we go around to businesses and get gift cards and free food or whatever. My dad knows I live on this site and he asked that I ask for people to come, which I would of done anyway. Forward to who you can, the more people the better. I may lead a group out on sporties and give us a good route.1 point

I'm assuming the car's fuel system is not set up from factory to be able to run e-85, and these guys are running e-85 without any changes to the fuel system (at least that's what I'm gathering). I don't know why they are complaining about it. It seems to me like they should have expected problems. After re-reading the original question, I would say e-85 would likely be to blame. The e-85 probably wouldn't break down a filter so much with it just sitting most of the time. I would think the damage would come from a combination of the e-85 and the fuel actually being pulled through the filter at the same time. I'm thinking there wouldn't be much (if any) erosion to a filter that was sitting more than it was working. I think there would still be degradation of the filter, it just depends on how often you drive the car that relates to how fast it is going to break down. This is just my opinion though, take it for what it is.1 point

Mine sounds like a bag of hammers fucking a typewriter. You won't hear shit. Maintnance isn't bad at all. Like I said its parts availability. 2 week wait from bike bandit, or travel to nearest dealer then wait.1 point

What you are doing is why I tell my kids each day to do what you love and you can do anything you want if you work hard for it. Thanks a ton for sharing your experience up there with us here. This is awesome, and hope you get to enjoy every minute of your time up there. Keep the cool pics coming!1 point

330racing and myself also went May 1... and we witnessed probably the funniest thing I've seen on a motorbike to date. 3 kids were slow dragging in the back parking lot, one kid falls and face plants head first into his buddies bike... was absolutely hilarious and my explanation doesn't even give it half the hilarity factor that it actually had.1 point

Nice twist of the facts, I'm impressed. You should get into politics. What you said is true, but intellectually dishonest. That is a key trait for a politician. For those of you going wtf....The 2012 federal deficit did go down.....compared to the previous Obama years...But are still roughly double Bush's. But I bet magly was screaming about Bush's spending. But is ok with this. Just like I bet the people screaming about Obama's spending were ok with Bush's spending. Bottom line both groups are why we have deficits. The hypocrites are why we are fucked over every time.1 point
