Tomorrow marks my 1 month point of being smoke free. Planning to cardio up myself. I don't believe the track tech's would dig me wearing my leather around the track unzipped with my gut out flailing freely. This year is all about self improvement2 points

People are awful quick to pull the race card these days.2 points

2014 Registration begins on February 14, 2014, at 8 a.m. I waited two days after registration opened and it was already booked up through June. Don't wait to sign up. Pick the course that is right for you. Rider Courses • Basic Rider (BRC) For newer riders and those wanting to learn how to ride, the BRC is the place to start. http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/basic_rider.stm • Basic Rider Course for Returning Riders (BRC-RR) For riders 18 and over who have been riding on a temporary permit for at least a year, or who are starting to ride again after an extended time away from riding, the Returning Rider BRC (BRC-RR) is the course to take. http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/BRC-RR.stm • Basic Rider Course - 2 (BRC-2) Motorcycle safety reports indicate that 75% of motorcycle crashes involve "experienced" riders. Never rode 2-UP but you met a sweetie that wants to ride with you? Be safer with this course. Do you already have your motorcycle endorsement and your own motorcycle? Then take the Basic Rider Course-2 (BRC-2) as an early-season refresher, to bond with that new-to-you motorcycle, or to gain experience and improve control while riding with a passenger. This course is designed for the experienced/endorsed rider (and co-rider) who want to learn more about reducing the risk of riding and practice skills under the watchful and helpful eye of a trained instructor. BRC-2 Highlights 6-hour, one-day, range-only course (no formal classroom session) Requires motorcycle license or endorsement Use your own 2-wheeled motorcycle Passengers allowed http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/BRC2.stm • Advanced Rider (ARC) Do you already have your motorcycle endorsement and your own motorcycle? Are you very comfortable with how your motorcycle handles and have over 1,000 miles of experience on it? If you’re ready to learn how to ride your motorcycle better, take the Advanced Rider Course (ARC). ARC Highlights 9-hour, one-day course Requires motorcycle license or endorsement Use your own 2-wheeled motorcycle http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/advanced_rider.stm Please note that the Advanced Rider Course was not offered at the beginning of the sign-up period last year. The course was however added to the schedule later in the year. Courses may be added as the season progresses so don't forget to check often for a course that you may be interested in that has not yet been listed or is filled up. Motorcycle Ohio homepage: http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/index.stm Many answers: http://www.dmv.org/oh-ohio/motorcycle-license.php#Which-Ohio-Motorcycle-License-is-Right-for-You Note: The BRC is $50 and no longer $25 as listed in the above link. 1-800-83-RIDER .1 point

Since it's winter and I I have PMS really bad, I thought I'd drag this up from last year to share with you all. I hope the link works. http://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php/topic/151937-blue-mountains-of-australia/?hl=%2Bblue+%2Bmountains1 point

Craig, your little funny would have been so hilarious... but you used Kevin. That is just mean and unrealistic because he is just so ridiculously slooooow. Dick. Taft, let's do this.1 point

If the new VFR had gear driven cams it would be perfect.1 point

I don't drink either I can only afford water from the tap. If Bad had more of the "winter entertainment" here he might not of been bord. When your bord you tweet during the super bowl, when you tweet someone is always offended. Then your a racist. Don't be a racist....1 point

This picture got me called a racist one time and it got the whole thread deleted and me band from a message board for a month. All I said was he needed to rob more pizza delivery guys. I did not see a problem with the Coke commercial. My great grandparents immigrated from Germany and Ireland back in the day everyone spoke their language in their neighborhoods but they still all had to learn and speak English to work or anything else they did now days everything comes with instructions for the language you speak so there is no incentive to learn.. I’m all for immigration but learn to speak the national language.1 point

Welcome aboard. You'll find more people to ride with here than you will be starting a club, and nobody here calls themselves president or any other stupid title. Everyone's equal on this playing field (except Magz, everyone is above Magz ).1 point

I don't mean to be rude, but when lenders won't work with you, there is usually a good (or statistically rational) reason. Banks, dealerships, and credit unions want nothing more than to finance people, and collect the interest. If they're turning away your business, it's because they don't think you're actually going to pay... This time of year, that $800 down should buy a running beginner bike... Ride that in 2014 and save up a few grand to buy something nicer in the 2014/2015 winter off-season. I believe someone had a GS500 for sale here not too long ago for under $800. That would be a great first bike.1 point

I'm a firm believer in credit unions. Mine helped me re-establish a good credit standing years ago, as well as my wife's. Doesn't hurt to talk to them once you find a bike you want, have a total price in mind, and how heavy your down payment would be.1 point

I'd be in for that. I also work various weekends, so my committment would be based on work schedule.1 point

If I can make it(avoid conflict w Motoseries) I can sweep a fast group or lead a medium as long as everyone understands the basics of a group ride. IMO 3+ epic rides is getting overkill...just post up a day or two in advance when the forecast is decent and you can get a ride going....smaller groups tend to be more fun anyhow. Last year I didnt make it out much, but all it took was a quick post anf everytime we had between 3-8 people. Best thing about it....less planning, better prediction of weather, and no chance to sit on the fence.1 point

I started noycotting it when it hit $6.50/case. Im a trendsetter. (I still buy the occasional 2 liter for the cap'n, cuz cap'n and bigK sucks)1 point

exactly. I thought it was silly, but it didn't personally offend me. That said, I immediately predicted the backlash. Coke is crazy like a fox. Everyone's talking about their shitty ad today, instead of forgetting it 30 seconds later. If you can't be clever, be "controversial." coke drinkers are too stubborn and addicted to actually change their buying habits. You could run an ad that says, "Hey everyone - go fuck yourself! America sucks!" and people would still drink it.1 point

It may be due to my military background, but I think it's disrespectful to the sing the National Anthem any way other than how it's written. It annoys me when singers think it's their chance to showcase their talent and do some fancy version. Don't add notes or syllables or try to drag it out. Just sing it as written. I didn't particularly care for that Coke commercial. It didn't make me want to boycott products or freak out on the internet, but I did think it was disrespectful. Again, just sing it as written.1 point

Who cares if you don't like it or think it's stupid. The guy was buried the way he wanted to be buried. Good for him.1 point

I didn't find it offensive, I found it a stupid oversimplification of who/what we are. We are not a country of people from all over that cling to their old countries traditions and languages. We are a country of people that abandoned our old country, learned a common language and developed our own traditions and values. If my family clung to it's old traditions I would have to get a big oven in my back yard and burn Jews. I really would prefer not to do that. Although as an interesting side note, John Demjanjuk was my back yard neighbor.1 point

That is entirely untrue because there is not a single person I hate based on their race alone. I hate people based on their attitudes and actions no matter where they are from, what color their skin is or whatever religion they do or don't believe in. Now if you were to say I can be overly stereotypical well then yea that is true1 point

Just a gimmick. Some one will buy anything. I'd rather have one of these dual 10/22 kits. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/10-22-crank-operated-gatling-gun-kit-2-tone.aspx?a=11048461 point
