  1. If you aren't a ginger, you can't look directly at ginger on ginger action or you will spontaneously combust.

  3. To really reward you for this epic post that totally made me laugh, I will be bringing my girls skirt and hoe boots along with an umbrella. My hairy half nekkid ass is going to be all over your pits and on the grid with that umbrella held as high as I can with my hairy ass armpits all up on your elbows. Just try to regain your composure and focus after that Craig will owe me an entire pack of oreos and I wont even have to ride

  4. It's not work, it's called pit bitch. It's sort of like umbrella girl, except you don't have to be attractive. Most of the good pit bitches have been claimed by the fast riders, but you might be lucky enough to find a novice racer who will let you put the bike on stands, put warmers on and pull them, and things like that. It's not expected, but pit bitches often make us lunches like sammiches, and more experienced pit bitches will provide hot lunches like grilling hamburgers or hot dogs.

  5. Yeah Honda has been so cutting edge lately and making bikes that consumers actually buy and ride.

  7. Keg fitting removed/clean/re weld. Original person who welded it did a sub par job and it leaked. Lower half of the wheelie bar

  11. You're supposed to be on my side. Midgets are lovable people. I know I can't make Saturday because that's the CRP race. Still waiting for and answer on anything I can do Sunday since I've not been to an event yet. If can't ride may still try and round up Bowman and come out to spectate, ridicule and hit on your womenz

  12. LOL....Northern Illinois is home for me. Definitely only a few good roads. If the AF sends me, it would be east of St Louis. Probly leaving OH around the end of March. Qatar is safer than most anywhere!

  16. I am going to send the info to a buddy. That thing is a sweet ride and you've always maintained it well. It would make someone a great steed. Like Madcat.

  17. So, I heard there's a good, close race in the 600 class with MotoSeries? Wish I was still running I might have had a chance to get in that mix, but I quit. JBot, daughter is cute, if she doesn't start sleeping, just remember we went 12 months and a week before we got over 5 nights of our kid sleeping a full night. That was awesome.

  18. It looks like a multi-mode failure. The origin is near the top of the axle shaft in the third picture. Faint lines point to the failure origin. These faint lines are indicative of fatigue mode and the smoother fracture surface on the 1/3 outer radius of the axle shaft seems to be all fatigue. The rough or pitted-looking area in the middle is caused by brittle fracture. The small spot of rust in the middle may be caused by flash rusting once it's exposed to the air/moisture. The rest didn't rust because, I suspect, gear oil covered the area almost immediately after failure. The sequence is is initiated at the origin; there was probably a surface imperfection (a nick, a gouge, or any other crack-like feature caused during a manufacturing/assembly process). This creates a stress concentration area which caused fatigue to set in. After numerous cycling of acceleration and deceleration, the crack propagated within area of the smoother surface ring. Once the area was large enough, the last failure mode was brittle fracture which happened all at once. The remaining area was simply overstressed and aggravated by the sharp crack tips surrounding it. This is a design of a semi-floating axle. In a full-floating axle, such axle shaft failure will not cause loss of control as the hub is retained by the axle housing/tube.

  20. Damn man, that would be a tough gig to be seperated from your family for a whole year. If you want to move where there's good riding when you return, forget Illinois ( at least from what I'm told ). I'd head to the east or west coasts for better roads/scenery. And like my wife said, we'll need to gather up and chime mugs together before you roll out.

  21. There are usually pretty sizable open areas where ever you see a helipad on the map. The owner of the Williams campgrounds kind of frowns on people riding around the campgrounds. Trying to avoid liability and property destruction issues.

  22. So, I gave my wife the weird wood last night, and she loved it. Big thanks to KZ Kari for the engraving and Bowdog for the 26 coats of clear. Pay no attention to my state of inebriation. The pic was taken after everyone left the party last night.

  23. If you have an Android phone buy an elm327 Bluetooth OBDII reader off Amazon for under $15 dollars. Get the Torque Pro app from the play store. That combination not only let's you read fault codes but will let you see almost every parameter reported on the OBD bus in realtime and should cost you under $20 total.
