  1. Shut your mouth. Is your 750 even done yet? If you weren't slow you wouldn't need a built 750.

  2. Fuck lean. Everyone tells me I need to hang off the bike more to get a better lean angle and able to carry more speed. I kind of don't do it on purpose, it keeps me alive. The way I see it I'm plenty fast enough, could I go faster if I change my seating position? Yes I know I could, but id rather just keep doing what I've been doing for years, letting the bike tell me I going fast enough or too fast. If I'ride and really start railing on her and I drag a peg feeler that's my clue to back the fuck off or something bad may happen. For the big heavy bitch she is I think I get her down the road better than most do and I'm perfectly happy with that and don't have to have her towed home because I went too far.

  3. Also note that the buses require a pass/ticket before you get on, and you must not lose the ticket while on board. No mercy given to tourists for that error. Germans are punctual, always on time. Especially in Berlin. Do not be late anywhere. https://www.berlin.de/en/public-transportation/1772016-2913840-tickets-fares-and-route-maps.en.html

  4. Global entry sounds very dirty... Especially if you have a line for to take your clothes off.

  5. Ditto. I noticed but wasn't going to give you any credit as I felt it was the opposite of the hate you need to survive

  6. Scary, or a typical Saturday night? I'd be wary of all the people driving like maniacs in close-ish quarters like that, unless there are wardens or something patrolling the trails. Barring that, it certainly looks like fun. I miss ATVing/snowmobiling.

  7. Oh, it was noticed. Some of us were trying to prtend we didn't see it, or wish that it was just a joke...

  8. If you had a 750 you wouldnt need a hill to do wheelies.

  9. Awesome Marty, I'm sure I'll see you around. I think you'll enjoy shooting "wheelie hill" and I'm looking forward to getting some wheelie pics from ya!

  10. Then I would have to beg for a trailer ride to the Dragon, and would have to mock myself for trailing rather than actually riding my bike. And I would kill myself. But I really am looking hard at an H2.

  13. Since I've been there... In no particular order: German Museum of Technology Berlin (Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin) http://www.sdtb.de/Home.623.0.html Memorial of the Berlin Wall one of the original checkpoints is still there, worth seeing if in the neighborhood I did wander through the aquarium, and two of the four museums. The museums are close together, and the best brat I had in Germany was from a cart in the courtyard between the two. The Persian exhibit was impressive. Altes Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie, Museum für Islamische Kunst, Pergamonmuseum. Places to relax: Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) Television Tower Downtown area, nice to wander at night if your hotel is nearby and if you can get up to the North West, the Luftwaffe Air Museum http://www.mhm-gatow.de/en/ I missed it, and really wanted to see it. Just didn't have enough time. I didn't see much of the stuff in the old DDR (East Germany). Wasn't interested in that. Misc: Eat a brat or two. Kabob on a stick from a cart. Schnitzel. Beer. Berliner style flavored Weisse. Only found in Berlin. More beer. Summer white wine. Hookers in East Germany at night (sight seeing tour bus). Nude parks in Berlin. Even a pool in a hotel is likely to be nude. I stayed at Radisson Blu Hotel Berlin. Walking distance to the Wall and museums. And the tower downtown. Best souvenir: Just to the East of the Radisson Hotel, was a little strip mall of shops. One of the souvenir shops had little diecast models of East German Trebant cars. Red and blue, got one of each. Found out later that they are rather rare and hard to find, and actually worth something.. Note that everything closes down at night, except the bars and hotels. That was my impression.

  16. I was approved for Global Entry today. No more waiting in lines for passport control/customs. No more taking off my coat, shoes, belt, etc. No more pulling out my laptop and liquids. Today is a happy day.

  18. Yes! There were 10-20 mile sections that we averaged well over that. It was not smart and I do not think anyone other than our leader was that kind of highway rider, but we all followed like a bunch of squids.

  21. When i make breakfast in bed, a simple thank you would be fine. None of this "Who are you, and how did you get in my house!" business.

  23. The hate parade is fun for sure, the hate emitting off the lead bike parts the highway like God parted the Red Sea for Mosses, but you would miss 83. Just saying...

  24. any particular reason why? I have always been led to believe that it has been for sale for a decade now, they're just asking more than it's worth, OR their price is reasonable, but the new owners were going to get piped by the EPA due to all the tires, which make the otherwise reasonable asking price completely impractical. I don't know what the land market is like in Garrettsville, but they may be sitting on it to sell it for development at some point.
