  1. I hate burning bridges but sorry if you wanted me to leave my current employer for yours, you shouldn't have come at me with a lackluster offer knowing what I was looking for. On the bright side when I told current employer I had an outstanding offer they really wow'd me with a substantial raise, bonus 10 days of PTO and willingness to let me work from home a day or two a week. Thats how you make an offer to wow someone to make a decision about their employment

  3. The best bet is to paste a link to the photo. You need the full link, so it has jpg or png or something like that on the end. The three letters that say what kind of image it is so: On a PC you would right click the image and select 'Copy image address'. then just paste it in. ....https://fronterasblog.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/cadiz1.jpg.... 4. I'm in the Duke station last night around midnight behind a young woman who had to be close to 400 pounds. She lays down about seven or eight candy bars and hands the guy running the register a food stamp card,he looks at me with a look of total disgust.I said,"Hey,it's the four food groups...fat,salt,suger and cholesterol." She was not impressed!

  6. I have to apologize for my cut short route report.I planned on an overnight trip but forgot my meds and had to go home.No meds and well we won't talk about that.Ok so's I leave Newark and head south on route 13 toward Athens where I'll pick up 33 down to the river.Except for dumping my bike in Glouster it was a pretty nice trip to the river where I pick up route 7.I'm sure most of you have been on route 7 along the river. It's pretty nice and scenic and eating a packed lunch along the river at a river park in Gallipolis is pretty cool.Gallipolis has some pretty cool buildings along the river. The next leg is continuing along 7 to Crown City where I pick up route 141 west and move away from the river for a little while over to route 141 to Ironton. There was a boat load of switchbacks and twisties along these routes that the map says is 18 miles.Just what do these people do for a living? They obviously have jobs. But where?Ok well the rain set in around Ironton where I pick up 52 over to Portsmouth and this is where I had to cut the trip short and head north on 23 in the rain to Circleville.Nothin like a straight wide flat road in the rain. After a coffee warm up at McD's in Circleville the rain quit and I jump on 22 east toward Lancaster. What a great ride that road is over to Lancaster and very little trafficNice little hills and easy curves and in my opinion was the most enjoyable part of the trip.Once I get to Lancaster I hop on 37 back to Buckeye Lake.Another very enjoyable route.Maybe because there's no rain and the sky is blue with so awsome clouds.Comming into buckeye Lake I pick up 79 back to Newark. All in all I figure about 290 miles. What a great ride. All routes were well maintained and in excellent conditionI originally planned to go over to Maysville Ky and spend the night there at a local campground but maybe next time.Oh and I'm thinkin' my insurance rates are going up next year when they make the repair estimate from my little spin out.Oh well..

  8. So, big raise..more time off. Buy your bike back, see you at the gap. And if she drops the kids you can just park it and fly home for that, then go back and get the bike.

  12. Possibly the most accurate description of a progressive liberal I have seen in awhile. I might add...blatant intolerance for those that don't share your social views.

  13. It's easier once you think of yourself as morally superior to the general populous and smart enough to provide for (control) their lives for their own progressive good. It takes some (ok maybe all) of the hypocrisy out of it. In other words, a shift from Liberty for all, to liberty for us and who we like.

  20. As usual on OR you guys are way over thinking the topic. I just get in the fast lane and go about 5-10 miles under the speed limit.I find that is the perfect speed for texting while finishing off my value meal.I have never even spilled my beer while maintaining that speed!Believe me,if there is any trouble approaching from behind they will let you know by honking, waving their hands all over the place and flipping me off. Some even throw shit at my car...good thing I drive a clunker since that last DUI.

  22. Is this a trick question? It's obvious that a big fukn' truck was in his way. If I was an idiot I sure wouldn't post up vids of my idiocity. (Well, maybe I would, being an idiot.) Furthermore, the wind doesn't blow bikes around much. It blows riders around. If those riders happen to be tight on the bars they make unwanted steering inputs & they might run into trucks. I think it was just a simple case of target fixation though. Hate to see what this guy would do on a West Virginia road.

  23. Saw a headline last night "No evidence Hillary willfully broke the law". When was guilt ever relevant to whether breaking the law was done through ignorance, by accident, or on purpose? I forgot, politicians get special exemptions...asshats.
