I recommend weekday's for motorcycling on the trail system because of the danger with two way traffic and the amount of atv's on the trail. With that being said, If you must ride on the weekend. Early morning or after 5pm on Sunday is your safest time (IMHO). We just finished a ride on Wednesday the 22nd. A KLR650 and a XL650R chasing a DL1000 V-Strom on the Wayne trail and a few Forrest service roads.

And since I just looked this up the other day, I can tell you roughly 1/3 of the folks from the first year the site started that have over 100 posts have been active in the past six months.
We will meet at Iron Pony in the NW corner of the parking lot at 9:00 am and depart at 9:30. The route will take us down to Coolsville and back up 555. Total miles is 237. Come full of gas and wearing your gear please.https://ridewithgps.com/routes/14410140
I'm a whore.... I can't sleep at night unless I post somewhere where others can hear me. That way some depraved young woman might read it, message me back on how I turned her on and can not longer restrain herself from the way I use my tongue.... well, since I'm posting I guess my fingers.

Welcome to the shit show. It's better to start on something small like that, lots of people in boxes and wheel chairs because they decided it was cool to start out on a supersport. Learn to ride well, invest in some good quality riding gear and sell the 300 in a year or two and move up to something bigger.
Only 30 some-odd posts in this thread? WTF...if it was a "hi I'm a new cute girl who needs help mounting my bike" thread there would already be 400+ posts...300 of which would be from MT
At our hotel in Russel Kansas. Made great time, hardly dropped below 90. Mrs. Tonik is excited, tomorrow she gets to say 'We aint in Kansas any more'.
She has been talking about that for weeks.
Tonik was correct.
He is an equal opportunity mocker.
This is a rare issue that I can only find one other case of. I can't understand what happened. The bike has 19,992 easy miles on it, rode by an old man in his mid 50s only on the weekends.
