  1. I would like to add Pauly has no taste in bikes, his multistrada is the ugly, retarded step child of multistradas. And his bicycle fetish has me wondering if he even wrenches on motorcycles any more, or spends all his time searching for Lycra shorts and tiny pedaling shoes.

  2. slightly less gay this time. Had this bike since end of april and never posted up because first i was embarrassed about ADHD and buying bike, second it was sort of materialistic thingy i never wanted to be associated ever in my life.Loving the vstrom and always riding it meant i never rode this bike at all other than some in town commute. I never liked the bike and never could forgive myself for buying it. Wanted to sell it to get the remorse down and always thought no one in OR would know except couple of folks. But since some new tires went in i been riding it bit more and the more i ride the more i love it. to the point i might even bring it to some group rides if i can get used to it. Hence to make long story short, just wanted to share the bike. At least for me i feel good and almost feel like getting a fresh breath of air when some one posts and shares their new love of life. I feel part of that happiness. Hopefully some one else gets that joy from this. And rather than just posting a pic and calling ti a day i thought i would make a short video to stretch that excitement 30 secs. so no more weeks of waiting and repeating the crap storm in short i am trying to say is i am not trying to show off a new bike, just sharing what i love to do which is make videos. watch in HD please as you might guess its a whole lot of dark room and flashing light crapshoot.

  11. I don't hate Ducati but can never see myself buying one. I don't have any use for character in a bike, while I can wrench some I have no desire to. I break shit, almost everything I ride or drive so I want to be able to replace it cheaply and quickly without remorse. Getting a Ducati to perfection and throwing it off the side of the road would be a waste of time and effort. How a bike looks doesn't factor in very highly on my buying criteria and I think most Ducatis are beautiful but wouldn't every pay extra for the good looks. I don't care how a motorcycle sounds either. I'm far from a "greenie" but I can't wait until silent electric motorcycles become useful, that's why my bikes keep the stock quiet exhaust. It's also a reason for me to ride in front on most group rides, I hate listening to loud motorcycles. I really want a good automatic bike too, shifting gears is such a tiresome ordeal and hopefully will become unnecessary. The Multistada on paper is just about as good as it gets and for the right person is perfection. IP falls into that narrow group of people that are capable of riding and working on them to get the most out of it, I totally get why he loves that bike. The BMW S1000XR also looks good on paper, I'm hoping Honda, Kawasaki or Yamaha make a bike that reaches the Multi or the XR benchmarks. Plus they are all junk and I'm not a fag.

  12. Anyone relatively local to Cincinnati need HVAC air filters? Long story short, a little miscommunication between the wife and I and we ordered the wrong sizes for our 2 furnaces. They recently resized the duct where the filter goes on one furnace which was part of the problem. I opened the one box and that's when I realized the error but the other box has not even been opened and of course they are unused. One box is 16x16x1 and the other is 20x20x1 - they come in a box of 12 so selling each size by the dozen. 16x16x1 - asking $50 (~$4.15 ea) - I paid $78 20x20x1 - asking $45 (3.75 ea) - I paid $65 I could return them but by the time I pay a restocking fee and the shipping, I might as well give someone a good deal locally. These are quality filters as recommended by our HVAC service people. PM me if interested. This is the product page. They aren't cheapie filters but not high-end either but unless you have bad allergies etc, these are more than adequate and are nicely made. http://www.thefilterstore.com/cgi-bin/quikstore.cgi?search=yes&detail=yes&product=173-000-011

  13. I've done it so many times it's not even worth it at this point. It's also not fair. It's like I'm Babe Ruth and they are some A-ball pitcher just serving up meatballs for me to crush. Some people just prefer to live in ignorance so let em. I don't need that kinda negativity in my city

  17. My roommate just bought a new RSV4, and yes, it sounds soooo good....but I still love my Monster more...he's already ordered a slip on which is going to make it so loud, but hopefully not annoying. Maybe I'm just over supersports at this point....or maybe I've just had too many Frappuccinos now that I'm a Ducati hipster...or perhaps I'm just getting old... lol And one day I'll have a Ducati bikini bc why not, gotta have something to wear when I wash my bike right??? 22. Sanders was the best of the worst, and that's not saying much. He tends to promise the moon to get what he wants and then only gives you a photo he got from some guy for cheap. I voted for him in the primary, if that says anything about what I think of the other two shit heads.

  26. I think the "occupy" movement has succeded,at least in part,to bring the issue of income disparity to the national political stage.I would say that movement was a big factor in Bernie Sanders campaign run and still might cause some change. It's still early.

  27. Better late than never I guess.I spent two years in Holland back in the early eighties and it was amazing how the Dutchies got around without owning a car. They had a hugh cycling population that was encouraged by having bike lanes along side nearly every road, compartments on buses and trains to store bikes and bicycle parking everywhere. With the interconnected mass transit systems(buses, trains, aircraft all connected through common stations) you could get to anywhere in Europe with your bike.It didn't seem like many people under thirty even bothered to own a car and people of all ages rode bikes on a regular basis. We are light years behind Europe on puplic transit. It's a shame.

  33. love my "new edge" ducati. I'm with IP on the character aspect. i can't own a motorcycle or car for that matter that doesn't have character. out of all the bikes I've owned and ridden i have came down to 2 bikes that i absolutely love. 2010+ Multistrada and Street Glide. they are no where in the same realm of each other, but they are both amazing bikes. The multistrada is a do it all bike, i can spend a lot of time in the saddle without bother, i can run through canyon roads like a sport bike, and i can do a track day on it. It is by far my favorite bike of all time. Im a big fan of the "standard" riding position, and the multistrada has a great seat position, upright, but still sporty. the Street Glide on the other hand is hands down my favorite long haul bike, especially the newer models. they improved a lot on the new models that were lacking on previous 2013 and back models. Suspension got a lot better, especially the way they mount the forks, the front end feels 100Xs more stable. the technology package on the special model is awesome, 6.5" touch screen navigation with bluetooth, a great traveling tool, and I'm a huge fan of having a radio when traveling. its an amazing 2 up bike, my wife and i never got tired or sore on our last one with the stock seat on decently long rides, but after putting on a new seat, we rode 12 hours and neither of us were sore at all, i was amazed. the seating position has a lot to do with it. and like ducati, harleys have a lot of character. and with the right person behind the bars, they bike will surprise a lot of people in the corners. i was running down guys on sport tourers at deals gap last year.

  34. That sucks, If roofies didn't erase your memory you'd know for sure. I don't think upholstery is ever cheap. Any any one good is probably backup up (ya punned) Tear it open and have a go, you can always staple the cover back on. or get some lycra from a fabric store. Electric carving knife, a kneeling garden pad, and some rubber cement.

  35. I thought this was going to be your "I bought a busa" thread, you teasing bastard. I have two tire gauges, an Accuguage I bought at an auto parts place for about $10, & a Motion Pro liquid filled one that was considerably more expensive & guaranteed to some professional degree of accuracy. Both read exactly the same. The Accuguage goes with me & the Motion Pro hangs on my garage wall.

  37. For the 2016 Multistrada, Ducati says the following: "routine maintenance intervals have been extended to 15,000 km 9,000 miles) (or one year) and valve timing adjustment to 30,000 km (18,000 miles)," (they actually had the miles conversion reversed and I fixed it for the purposes of this post). Not too bad...still, lot of $ for the work to be done, no matter how often.

  38. There's nothing wrong with Ducati. You just have to understand what you are buying and it's not a Honda. Most people that buy them, love them but there's always the exception. Some Ducati's of the past weren't as reliable so they developed a bit of a bad reputation. Most of the newer bikes have overcome much of those problems but you're still going to pay more for standard service intervals on a Duc then you will a Japanese bike. And, parts are way more expensive. As long as you understand that going it, there is no problem. My husband and I have owned several Ducati's and I can't image owning another bike except maybe a Triumph but I love the power band of the twin.

  41. Cleveland is a shit hole to begin with. Throw a bunch of asshat politicians and want to be politicians into the mix and you have all the reason needed to burn it to the ground and wash the ashes into Lake Erie. Maybe the ashes would counteract the algae and make it a nice lake again.
