Just wanted to confess about the disease I have, Just wanted to get the rear brake of ducati looked at under warranty. Stopped by the dealership on the way. They made an offer i just couldnt resist. Almost a straight trade up for a new bike. Saw it as an exit strategy to unload the Duc and took the chance. Got a Daytona 675R, been over a month, about 1800 miles so far. Loving the bike but i really dont need a supersport in my life. More than likely will sell this next year and once and for all get out of this loop hole. And be happy and live forever with my Vstrom Unless of course i hit the track pipe, which was one of my many justification to fall for this trap. I know all of you guys must be tired of these stories, i know i am. In short as of now i am a motorcycle ADHD guy with immature brain and an asshole to throwing my hard earned money so easily for no real good reason. I was always proud that i am not a materialistic guy and very simple. Unlike my colleagues at work and friends from residency who right out of residency sign the new job and go get brand new flashy cars that cannot even be driven to its potential and other stuff like latest gadgets and trendy suits etc. And then here i am being "that guy" right in front of you all . Tired of all the bull crap reveal videos and stuff in pitch darkness. So just posting some random pics. Hope i find the strength to just to stop at this. i hope at least @330racing must be a feeling good and better with this thread.2 points

I have to lead a adventure ride on Saturday with the Wailin Wayne Event so i will miss this great Epic Ride event. Sorry Jschaf would have been nice to ride with you again. I will video recon this Epic route in the morning Tuesday 9/6/16 and check conditions. It's the least I can do for the cause. Have fun and stay safe.2 points

As of yesterday 668 is open all the way from I-70 to 93.They are patching and paving from I-70 to Junction City, but there are no indications that it will be closing. The best part of 668,Junction City to 93,is still in very good condition.2 points

Hmmmm, could it be us locals keep it quiet to keep traffic down? Once you have ridden to Stillwater on 258, work your way over to Tappan Lake ( preferably using Moravian Trail Road off 800) and try 646 from Tappn Lake to Wintersville. You can thank me later2 points

So I've been wanting to make this trip all summer and yesterday I finally got to do it. @thompsonian, his uncle, and I all left yesterday morning from Parkersburg to make an epic one day loop through some West Virginia mountains.Weather was perfect, low traffic, and no phone signal. Couldn't ask for more. My total mileage for the trip was 427 miles, but they were awesome miles. Here are some pics from the trip.1 point

Really nice bike Doc! I think I would hold on to this one, not like it's going to break the wallet having two in the stable! If I could afford it, I would have two myself, one sportier for the twisties and one sport tourer for longer road trips. Now the big question, which one to bring to the Epic fall ride?1 point

You're a doctor. Is expected of you to spend hard earned money on sweet toys. if you want to throw it away you can just buy something and donate it to me1 point

Doc you can't get rid of a supersport completely. Who will I ride with here in the way north east? Don't worry you're not like your colleagues, your bike cost a fraction of their fancy cars I'm sure.1 point

Thanks TreeFime. I never rode the 600rr to its full abilities so now I'm just on a bike that's even more capable than I am. I do have a need for speed but I would not call myself speed demon carve-it-up rider. I'm still learning a lot. Glad you were able to get out and ride yesterday. I have ridden some of that section of 250 on my way to Deals Gap the past 2 years. It is good stuff as well.1 point

You guys missed out on the best part of 250. I rode the W.Va/Va. part yesterday which is pretty awesome. Durk, Congrats on the CBR1000rr!! Finally got an engine big enough to suit your speed demon carve-it-up riding style lol1 point

I am not so sure lighter is better for a street bike.1 point

With those mods, it makes it a little more complicated to trouble-shoot. I'm with the posters who suggested unplugging the PC to go back to the OEM map to see if it fixes the glitch. Or it could be something as simple as the TPS needing to be reset.1 point
