I got 5000 out of a 2CT on the rear of my bike. But 2 of my bikes would weigh considerably less than Tim's setup and have much less hp Need to mount the Metzeler M7 to match the front this weekend as the last hint of tread in the tire center has disappeared this week. Craig3 points

Looks like I'm working very early in the morning but will be off early enough to come home and get some extra shut eye before your shin dig. So unless something changes me and the Mrs. will be there.2 points

Like I told you on FB still waiting on them to decide if we are working tomorrow or not. This place doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground.2 points

Leaving Friday for the Kentucky Adventure Tour (KAT)This is a 900 mile loop around the hills and mountains of south eastern Kentucky. It is about 40% rural narrow twisty paved roads with the rest being gravel, dirt roads and trails. It will take 5 full summer days of riding to complete the main section. Some of these areas are very remote. A suzuki v-strom 1k, a honda cfr 1k, a ktm 990, kawasaki klr 650 and honda 650r will be the steeds of choice. Will do a ride report or link when I return. I know this is late notice, but we are having a post Halloween fall shindig tomorrow at our new place near Stoutsville Ohio. 15 minutes south of Canal Winchester. 10 minutes east of Circleville. we will have the Ohio State game on the big screen in the heated party barn and a nice hot fire going outside. Bring your beverages and chair and come hang out with your bubbys. There will be a real nice trophy for best costume. (Costume not required) lighting the fire at 7 PM. if anyone needs the address or directions, just PM me or Casper.1 point

I always pronounce it as pseudo as well. It's right because that's the way I say it. its like gif...hard G, not jiff...I don't care what it's inventor says1 point

It stands for super-user do, so I understand why someone would say it as sue-doo. Just sounds stupid though.1 point

Try applying some fresh lube to any external shift linkage points. If the joints don't have decent lubrication they'll get cranky when the weather turns cold. This happened to me in Nov 2013 shortly after I bought the bike used, and I thought the transmission was toast. Try spray-on lithium grease. Not WD-40.1 point

I did a big chunk of the loop on Wednesday. Down from north side of Cbus to Circleville, 56 to Athens; 550 to Amesville;379 to 555 all the way to Zanesville; moderate ramblings and wandering all the way back home by the zoo, about 295 miles total, little cool in the morning, no traffic once I got past Logan Elm HS on 56. Awesome day1 point

VFR750 was like 9 fasteners which wasn't a problem. 650 was 10 fasteners 6 blind push pins and 3 clips on lower fairing also clips must have been installed right way or they wouldn't line up. Long live nekkedness1 point

I've got an electric smoker also, and for me the chips work better than the chunks (apple, cherry, hickory). Ribs, Pork Shoulder, Brisket come out great. Low and slow is the way to go. I will do ribs for about 6 hours, brisket or pork shoulder for a minimum of 12 hours... Brisket... Pork shoulder, ready to be pulled... ...and Ribs...1 point
