Got my new bike home from the dealer yesterday. Still recovering from my crash but I pulled my leg over it and took a short 2 mile ride on it just for fun. Can't wait to finish rehab and for the weather to truly turn nice so I can start burning up the miles on it.
2016 Ducati Pikes Peak. #298/400 made.
These things happen in Woodsfield. Happened to me headed south on 800 into Woodsfield several years ago. I didn't recall doing the things they accused me of so they had to let me proceed w/o ticket.
Never admit guilt.
"Do you know how fast you were going?" "No."
"Was that you passing on double yellow?" "No."
"I literally paced you at 95." "I have no idea what you are talking about."
That place is so overcrowded that walking down the sidewalk was a fucking adventure. A person in front of me stopped and I started getting pushed from behind by the herd. Nice place to visit once....other than that fuck it. I'd rather spend time in Chiraq and that isn't saying much. I grew up just outside of Chicago so it's not like I am spooked by populated areas.
Are you trying to increase the chances of the bike getting jacked or what? Insurance check bitches! While you are at it up your insurance plan. Have you ever driven in NYC?
Actually not, Motohio had one also. I ended getting theirs. Was basically the same deal from both shops but Motohio was understanding enough and did me the huge favor of delivering it to my house for free.
Looked it up. That area of NYC typically has reservations for parking in advance. But, did find this list of places to park motorcycles. http://www.panix.com/~bergman/data/data.bike_park_nyc.html
I'd be tempted to park at/near a train/subway platform outside of town, and take the rail into the downtown area. Not sure that would be anymore secure though.
If you have ever walked into the Mount Vernon Kroger you will know why I shop at walmart. That's store sucks, half the size of the average Kroger and nothing else in town other than a Aldi. For that matter I don't even shop at the Wally in Vernon we go up to Bellville most of the time.
