  3. I have no idea what you are talking about. Your statement isn't really applicable to this situation, but If I was known for repeatedly breaking laws in my home country, I would not be surprised if the other countries wouldn't allow me to immigrate.

  5. lol its geared. 70 all day long. That thing is by far my favorite bike ever, was passing people right and left 2up at the Gap.

  6. Yup. After that ride with BamBam at the Gap, I stopped recording rides. 41 on the Grom downhill ain't exactly getting you a super-speeder ticket...

  8. LOL well, I guess I'll start looking for a genny to power those warmers I bought last night. ?

  9. I bike looks good, but keep in mind. It's 15 years old, so be prepared to do some maintenance work. At the end of the day, no ones opinion matters except yours, because you're riding it.

  11. I know when Justin saved my life by noticing I had burned my tire right up 500 miles from home I was glad I had a common size also.
    1 point
  12. Why? Those are modern rims. Lots of sticky rubber in those sizes. No need to have anything larger for a light bike. Prolly could shoe a 160 on the rear, but I doubt if it would handle any better.

  13. Don't they pretty much just crash when they get any where near Coshocton?

  14. We could just go back to shooting them. Oh wait...toxic lead.

  15. First Street bike a ever rode was my buddies 94 Katana 750. Thought it was fast till I bought my 90 GSXR 750.
    1 point
  16. I've ridden all of those and liked them far better than the katana.

  17. They have odd old school rim sizes and you can not get proper modern tires. This may have changed towards the end of the model, but the early to mid 2000's still had old school tires.

  18. I'd rather ride an sv650 or something along those lines, you can find them competitively priced. I dont think id ever ride a katana, I think they are super ugly.

  19. Open a Thurmans in Cleveland and you've got a deal. Otherwise cheaper and more fun for me to just go there and pay for it

  20. Are phone's gps refresh-rates even fast enough to provide an accurate reading? Also, radar/laser guns are supposed to be calibrated on a schedule. Maybe it was off as well compounding the issue. I believe one of my friends got out of a ticket (because he loves fighting in court for some reason) and he was able to pull the records of the radar/laser gun the cop used when he got clocked and it was past it's scheduled calibration and he got out of it. He was totally speeding but

  21. I'll buy you Thurmans if you buy another bike again. Edit: And ride it.

  22. how hard is it to pull a spark plug out and read it? if you're running lean enough to overheat the bike in ten minutes in 60* weather your plugs should show it. thermostat opening? how hard is it to pull the thermostat out of the bike? dropping it in boiling water will tell you if it's shot or not, tho your stat might fail open instead of closed, which would present a different set of symptoms. pressure test the radiator cap. liquid cooling is awesome until a single component fails, then it's a shit-show.

  24. I mostly agree. If you (we) stop giving free healthcare, food, housing, drivers license, education, etc..etc to illegals, and start prosecuting criminal activity, then they really have little reason to cross the fence. In fact they'd be pouring back south like moths to a flame. Like they say, if you dont want birdshit on your porch, stop filling the bird-feeder! The only segment you can't really affect is the drug traffic, which is where the wall is a good idea.

  25. We give 500 million a year to Mexico in aid. Finance the wall and pay it with that money, about a 15 year payoff.

  27. I don't sleep. True story. We were down there for the Women's Sportbike Rally thing with Pauly and his life partner. Bad and I said something along the lines of, "hey, we should do this every year". And thus began the annual OR Gap trip.

  29. As a USAF Instructor, I can come up with a few. The long-term reliability of these weapons isn't there. We have M9's that break the lugs in the breach after a while, which is a huge PITA. The double action/single action is trash for the first round accuracy, yes I understand the safety aspect of this. The weight and grip size is another issue for smaller shooters combined with the heavy double-action initial pull. The P320 is striker fired, lightweight polymer frame, extremely modular in use for all who may use it.( many currently carry a Sig M11 for concealed duty now) The ability to change grip size to fit shooters and ability to change calibers based on mission needs is nice as well.

  31. I agree that the immigration issue is mostly about votes. That is also why the left doesn't want voter verification, and the right pushes for it. However, why would you want to let people into the US that have already proven they're willing to break US laws? If you want to come here then do it legally

  32. Once you announce an amnesty there will be flocks coming claiming they were here all along, They're undocumented what is there to deny. If deporting them is too big of a task, So is them gifting them amnesty it will be an utter mess. And we did that already. It was the right thing to do last time. They knew the risk. "Allowed them to stay", now we need a statute of limitations on how long their feet are on the soil until we can't go after them. It's their fault And the government, but it ain't my fault. If you change the laws to fit criminals you change the criminals into law makers. The law was the law regardless of whether they were caught and kicked out. Some were, that didn't seem to deter the rest .It was more of an overpowering bum rush "they can't catch all of us". Our disproportionate resources don't need to change to accommodate them. Not to mention them holding a grudge politically against one side's fair opinions, do they get banned from voting for life?( I guess we'd need voter ID's then) PS not to mention as your ancestors ,the legal option was there for them to apply for all along.

  33. I always thought it was a pretty unremarkable pistol. There are other 9s that are lighter, more accurate, more reliable, better triggers, etc.

  34. the FN SCAR. This is the epitome of a modular combat rifle system. One system that can be configured for many different units/missions as needed. The ability to run different calibers while keeping the rifle basics the same. The flexibility of this system is phenomenal. It would be easy to bring into our forces as you can run it in 5.56mm and 7.62mm as well as others. This helps with using the current ammo with a phasing in of the change.

  35. I don't get the whole illegal immigration debate at all. We can have huge numbers of immigrants and do it legally and safely. My ancestors came over from Germany post WWII. They went through extensive background checks to make sure there were not Nazi asshats. I have seen the documentation of what they had to do. I don't understand why the left is opposed to that, and why the right goes to the other extreme and wants to ban everyone. Actually I do understand, it's not about doing what is correct. It's about getting re-elected.

  36. Link to Trump saying 'military force' please. In the interest of saving time I am going to assume you are talking about 'send in the Feds' and are just lying about what he said. In that case link to you bitching about Obama already sending in the feds. And in the interest of saving more time I'm going to assume you never said a word and are a hypocrite. BTW Chicago's mayor already said he welcomes Trump's help.
