Similar to Long Way Round but this dude is totally alone(except for conections he makes along the way), no support vehicle,no film crew, no unlimited budget and on a GSXR1000. 17 part Youtube series. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/user/teapotonevids/featured Link to the youtube trailer and playlist...1 point

If you have troubles finding episode 15 where he was in the states here is a direct link. Some people have issues playing it because of copy right bull crap.1 point

How I've always ridden. Somone at the gap trip last year ask me if I had a quick shifter installed. Nope, just done it that way so much its natural for me to just blip it every shift. 50k miles on the old Connie and no problems.1 point

Believe it or not, Shad makes the BMW ones too. I got the luggage but waiting on the topcase mounting hardware (backorder) and the white trim pieces for the side cases (I got no explanation for that one). The black looks pretty good though. I'm still wearing my Yamaha jacket! It's really warm I picked mine up in Wooster OH but there's a shop around Cbus and one in Indy.1 point

Welcome to the Triumph club! I love my '06 ST. I've had it for 10+ years and it never fails to put a smile on my face.1 point

Very nice Chad, Almost like the whole OR getting STed these days high percentage of hard panniered riders is always a good sign of progress. So two sprints from SW for next epic meet1 point

Exactly, this one and the rst suit deal, man it's been a struggle fighting it. Not even an irrational reason for me to get a full suit and another helmet but still keep clicking the link and drooling on the pics.1 point

Congrats man! Welcome to club triple. Glad you took the leap. To me, they really are one of the best transition bikes between SS and tour. The 1050 is plenty capable for no more HP than it has, the torque really makes up for it, and I like the planted feel of it's rake/trail/wheelbase. Other than the infrequent euro quirps, they're really great bikes.1 point

Very nice!! I've got a Haynes manual for one of those somewhere in my ex's house, and a set of the Pazzo levers in black/red adjusters if you ever decide to be in the market for that.1 point
