so i discovered something amazing last night...
the amazon tire gauge GLOWS IN THE DARK! who cares if it's accurate, I can see that fucker after the sun goes down.
Thought this would be a cool place for all those rides stories. I'm always inspired to ride more when I read about others riding! I actually come here now more for this part of the forum than motorcycles!
I got out for 30 miles solo through the metro parks yesterday. Nothing special about it but it felt good to get outside and be off the trainer!

Sunday Spring Season Starter Shakedown Shakalaka .. corny name simple game, any one riding this Sunday?
Thinking of of getting out for a shortish 250-300 mile run. First ride for me since last season, I know most of you guys were lucky get few break-through days in between. Want to keep it medium moderate pace (100% not ideal for newer riders) closer to home base (within Ohio at least lol ) without wandering much since I did a ton of stuff on bike and just want to be safe just in the rarest chance of failure
anyways thinking of leaving Canfield sheetz around 10 am, if any one interested let me know we can meet up in between or if any one already planned a ride and don't mind me jumping in l be glad to join.
End game is just to get out and start the season easy simple and clean
I know peeps are always looking for these...

Hurry, it's a lightning deal that ends in 4 hours.
What ever gear you buy for CE certified protection, when it comes to budget minded Rain Gear, TOURMASTER gets my approval.
I've ridden in some very shitty and very cold stuff in my earlier riding years and my Tourmaster rain gear kept me dry and blocks the wind too.
And if you will be riding all day on a Cold day (above 33F) without any Rain. You can simply use it as another layer to block the wind on those Cold rides to increase the warmth for your body with what ever gear you wear underneath.
With a SS bike there are still 3 gears. Sitting and pedaling, Standing on the pedals and walking
In NEO I very seldom need the low gear, but if you can ride all the hills around Mohican on a SS without walking them you are much tougher than me.
Dang it all my chips was on you as my s6y mate haha, but I had a feeling it might be tight since you got out last week.
Finish up bike quick, take her out for dinner / vine and dine her on Saturday and engage in romantic talk and finish off with deep discussion about midlife crisis towards end and she might just say, "why not Take a ride Sunday to clear you mind"
No problem,
I will probably still do the BF gravel. I am not skilled or fit enough to race MTB. Last time I tried to ride VK it tried to kill me when I slipped off a skinny and landed hard on the board.
IP, I'm sure you could do it on the SS. I did a similar 60 mile ride out of Millersburg a few years ago on a SS CrossCheck. Just be prepared to walk a few hills. I actually had a better time on the SS than I did the following year on my geared bike.
Craig
Tim, if nothing else pans out I can take back roads and be at new concord gas station between 12 - 1. Well at least finally get to meet you after 5-6 yrs
For my money, I really like Tourmaster pants. They seem to have the most choices and size options and the quality is really good. I've never owned a jacket but they are likely just as good.
Installed my new seat from Terry's Custom Seats and dropped a new battery in. All she needs now is tires aired up, a bath and the chain cleaned and lubed. Sunday is looking like a good day for a shake down ride.
