  2. Yes, sore arms, cut fingers and about 45 minutes of frustration because you can't get the god damn bead to set is pretty costly...

  3. Several of the Nelson group went and did this before the Sunday races. It was a blast. My first time on them. The cars are real grippy and move right along after they get up to speed and you have to use the brakes into the corners or you'll wipe out. Best part was the computer scoring you get at the end. All the cars have transponders on them so you know how well you did. On the print out, they have the "best of the week" printed next to your name and group. Of course, several of the racers names were on it. If you get the chance to do it, take advantage.

  6. You gentlemen are making assumptions about the OP that may or may not be true. So, OP, what are your motivations? More drive off the corners? Ability to not shift gears & have the same drive off corners? Dank Whoolies & having a higher probability of ditching the cops? Let us know.

  8. I can assure you it was very stressful for me, can't imagine what it was like for him. He accused of a hot lap and going back around, but the truth is I wanted to see my buddy up and moving around. But don't tell him, I got a rep to maintain.

  10. I love the Harley for long tours, and the wife likes it even better. Great storage, great stereo, great ergos for comfort, and it is well balanced for a heavy ass bike. but the Guzzi is just damn sexy, and the better brakes/suspension/ground clearance is one thing I wish the Harley had

  12. Just had mine checked last year at 40 due to issues going #2. Found some lobes that doc didnt like so sebt out for biopsy. Longest couple weeks of my life. Came back clean but now on hi fiber diet and supplements and doc wants to check me every 2 years now. Get checked gents better safe than sorry. It's no big deal, just like taking a nap, and you feel nothing after.

  16. We always did that too on golf carts! It was a blast until we flipped one...... The grass was dew covered in the morning and was doing spins down the fairway until we hit hole or dry spot or whatever and over we went.

  23. This was a great time as I had never been to PIRC. I like the track and the elevated viewpoints. I hope they expand the viewing areas to the other areas around the track. I also agree with others regarding safety, adding sand traps and more air fence would be a plus. The boys had fun especially when they got to meet some of the racers for autographs and pictures. Got to hang with some OR peeps @DerekClouser @whaler @ricer1 and @jacobhawkins.

  28. Not so much patience as not having enough sense to stop. Yeah, I'm probably gonna go the shorty route if I can't get the stock muffler back on somehow. Haven't even looked inside the lower tank (can't, really) to see if it's rusted. Probably just cork it and fill with vinegar then phosphate to make sure. Its really mostly my fat ass sweating onto my glasses, cussing loudly and then drinking beer. The magic happens in the precious moments between those things.

  29. must also remember a ninja 650 is like in between a 250 and a 600. just because it has an extra 50cc does not mean a 600cc bike is not a upgrade to it. Vtwin math bro
