  1. At least that's what it feels like. I've always had naked or nearly naked bikes but decided to pull the trigger on a Connie 14. I think it was a good decision. This whole wind protection thing is fucking awesome aside from a little trouble judging speed compared to a naked bike. This thing is super stable and smooth at speed and handles well enough to give 1/4" chicken strips the first time out on fresh rubber. All kinds of power doesn't hurt either. Took it over to the river Saturday and it's not my zrx but it's not bad at all in the twisties for a touring bike. 800 and 536 were plenty of fun. The linked brakes seem to be the biggest downfall for me (parking lots and such) but I have no doubt I'll get used to them eventually. Also having to do the 15k mile service including valve adjustment over the winter bites a bit. Planning two trips to Tennessee and a trip to Florida next year so it was time to find a more appropriate bike. Mostly just really excited about this thing and wanted to share.

  3. This is awesome. I pinned it to the top so it doesn't get lost. Almost think we should move it to tech or track or maybe daily ride for better visibility. Ballpark guess what this is going to cost?

  4. Took a lunch ride to Boondocks BBQ&Grill in McConnelsville with the wife. Hit 668,669,555,78. Great day and enjoyed the easy pace that allowed me to take note of natural beauty that surrounds this area. Looking deep in the wood line and seeing all the creeks and rock formations that I miss during the summer or at my normal pace. 155 miles total, no Issues.

  6. Update..... I got my seat and backrest back from Terry and couldn’t be happier with his work. Very nice job. I’ve also had the ecu flashed and the difference in throttle control is night and day, shifting is much smoother and the added engine brake makes shuffling through the quick and tight stuff much better for me. Gives the bike a much more sporty feel.

  8. Will take more time driving it somewhere and waiting then driving home than just doing it. It's super easy to change tubes. Like 15 minutes tops for first time. About 5 minutes every time after that

  10. Enjoyed a nice 160 mile ride through the Hocking Hills area with a lunch stop in Laurelville diner with two friends on a Honda AT and a BMW GS. Roads were in great shape and no traffic.
