It took me about up until this year to break that habit so I could progress further on the track.

So there was a home invasion today in massillon. The rumor is the victim was none other than jay walker, the same scam artist shitbag that fucked us over. No identities are confirmed, but the victim was hospitalized and the assailant was tazed and arrested. I do not condone violence in any way aside from self defense, and definitely do not condone home invasion. But i can't help but wonder if this asshole finally fucked over the wrong guy.

I really want to make it second nature and using it instinctual but for so many years been doing the policy of set entry speed without brake policy it’s a hard thing to learn. Old dog new tricks and stuff. But I believe it’s a very valuable tool to have and practice because it adds another layer of safety to this dangerous sport. And since we initiate the whole process even before the actual corner entry it’s something we probably need to practice for every blind / new corner we ride into. Make a habit since most unexpected stuff happens mid corner or afterwards. Cant take it out of the bag of tools to implement afterwards.

The Azn kid is right. Just don't ask him to do math. I trail brake all the time right up to the apex. Not saying abrupt braking in addition to that wont stand the bike up a little, but usually human instinct and or combined with target fixation will stand it up more.

If anything if the brakes are applied correctly mid-corner, it should turn the bike. Speed = Radius, the slower you go the tighter the radius. Using the brakes past turn in isn't bad. It's how the bike is designed to be ridden.
