Bell Star MIPS DLX, white, XL, $260 plus shipping. I bought this helmet last fall shortly after Bell brought out the MIPS in a street helmet. Besides MIPS, it comes with a Transitions shield - which is awesome. I LOVE the design and quality of this helmet. But I'm selling it because it is trying to tear my left ear off. I've tried two different, smaller sets of cheek pads. But that has made it only barely tolerable for me. I haven't logged 50 miles with this helmet. BTW, you'll get those two extra sets of pads for no extra charge Chris Shoop

Not clear from your post if your son is experienced (or not) but when it comes to new riders in the dirt--or for that matter, on the street--a good rule is "Less is more"....whether you're talking about weight, HP, or seat height. If he's just venturing into the dirt, I'd suggest a 200-250cc DS. The KDX 200/250 was a great little bike that dragged my 200# ass all over the trails of KY and TN with minimal fuss, maintenance or drama.1 point

Been banging on this restomod bling it job on my Valkyrie the last few years, in between winter breaks (Garage is frickn cold) and a few spots of life gets in the way. One whacked thing you never realize up front how much the project is going to consume rectangular dollars. (ouch) I'm probably 80% done... this thing has gone on and on and on..... Debating about doing a mini build it thread... Looking for a seat guy to do a passenger seat like... (not Corbin, they snubbed me.) I dont like the stock seat on the bike.1 point
