  1. Hey guys: My name is Don, and I'm in Darbydale. I've always been a car guy for as long as I can remember. In 1969, I was 7 years old and sitting on a porch on S. Hague Ave with my mom and brothers waiting for my dad to bring his new car home. I remember it seemed impossibly huge, long and lean, deep green and sounding very mean. It pulled into the driveway and the exhaust bouncing off the side of the house was like music. "What kind of car is THAT?" "A Roadrunner". I was hooked. Through the years there were times when I had something cool to drive, but mostly not. Driving becomes mere transportation, no longer something to be anticipated, but to be endured. Good news is the car I have today is a 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic which I purchased new in May of that year. Super Track Pak car. Automatic, which is nice. First car I've ever driven with a paddle shift. Redline Tri-Coat in color. Black "R/T" stripes that I'm seriously debating switching to white. Or maybe those old-school HEMI billboard decals for the rear quarters. Bone stock except for a K&N drop-in filter. I'm hoping to gain real-world insights here on how to most efficiently change that. My plans for the car this year once I get it out of winter storage over on Fisher Road is to upgrade the exhaust and put in a tune. Looking to wake the car up a little without affecting the drivability. From reading the pre-post info, it appears I need to take some photographs ASAP. I'm a complete technological Luddite, by choice. I don't own a cell phone. To me, a "mobile device" is a toaster in the trunk. Basically, think Ted Kaczynski with indoor plumbing. I'm looking forward to learning, and hope with time to contribute to the community.

  2. Hello, I don't really post much on here but this will be my last riding season in Ohio. Thank you for letting me be a part of the group. I have made a lot of friends on here. I will be moving to Orlando, Florida next year and will continue my riding down there. I will try to make it out for all the events this year and look forward to the riding season and warm weather. Thanks for all your help and answering my questions. I have a 2012 Yamaha r6 if anyone wants to ride this year. Moving to Florida because it has the weather I desire. Also my girlfriend lives there lol... - Mr Anderson

  4. Rumor has it down there is that Honda is donating a ton of money to widen them in order for there new side by sides to fit in the trails. Have not heard that from an actual Honda source or Wayne official though.

  6. Thanks. I've internalized that. I'm going to have to procure a digital camera. By procure, I mean shoplift from Wal-Mart. Wish me luck. "To err is human, to forgive divine". Alexander Pope said that. I don't know what kind of car he drove. Never mind, apparently he died in 1744. So 1 horsepower. 2 if he had a dual yoke set-up.

  7. I don't care how good intention-ed a club is, with strict attendance and other follow the leader bullshit requirements. They can kiss my big mexitalian ass

  10. This is why you always treat a gun as if it's loaded, even if it's not. Dumb

  14. Sometimes I hate being single, but I'm pretty sure I hate dating even more. Mostly I just want warmer weather so I can ride. That's all.

  16. It is cold and rainy, snow is about to fall. I got home from work on time, no overtime today. I had a few beers and thought it would be good idea to re-read some of my old posts. I joined in 2009, read the thread on working in Marysville, read about selling my Katana, and my first interest in firearms. Then I re-read the thread "my dad has cancer". Cried alittle. Well, that is not true, cried alot. Then smiled. Miss you Dad. Life makes us stronger. Good night for now.

  17. I ride what you guys call a couch, a cruiser, because my back just can't take the leaning forward. Sad to think most of my riding years are behind me now, but there was a day when I loved hill climbing and trail riding. Not so sure I am limber enough for that anymore either...lol. So I ride a cruiser, need a backrest, but hey, I am out riding, and that's what counts. If I was a younger man like most here I would probably have bikes from different style groups too.
