So I was coming home last night on 11 North in the fast lane doin about 75 mph in a 65 and gaining on the car in front of me. A red Cavalier comes buzzing up the slow lane and drops in behind the car in front of me because of a car coming up the entrance ramp. All of the sudden I see what I originally thought was windshield spray in the air, but quickly realized it was brake dust. Red Cavalier was tailgating hard and car brake checked him. No big deal at this point, but then driver in front takes it to the extreme. Girl locks em up, brings her and the red Cavalier to a complete stop in fast lane right in front of me. I decided I was not gonna get squashed like a bug by whatever was coming behind me, but could not go to right lane because of traffic, so I went around cautiously on the left. Good thing I was cautious, because the girl threw her car in park and was getting out to I guess put a hurting on the skinny boy in the Cavalier. Not sure what all came of the incident, I was just glad I had an escape route and figured there was no use being a sitting duck if someone smashed into the two of them. If you get the newspaper near Niles,OH who knows you may be reading about them as I type this. Crazy stuff. Keep the rubber side down and be careful out there.

i was driving with my family somewhere, and a group of cars came onto the freeway. one particular car crossed 3-4 lanes of traffic in a hurry into the express lane, but apparently never sped up past 45. everyone is easily going 65-70. i'm the lucky winner who comes up on him in the express lane, and naturally, brake hard to avoid crushing his golf or whatever the fuck it was with my daddy mobile (touareg, VW suv). Traffic surges around us, and i can't move over to get around him. dipshit starts braking, down to 25 fucking mph. i eventually get around him, and as i pass him, he has just the most bitter, acidic angry at the world look on his face. i smiled and gave him a thumbs up. you can't get mad at people whose lives suck so hard, they feel the need to be complete shits to everyone else.

Yeah trust me, I don't care about buying a new g*n, especially a 200 12gauge like I already have lol. No bayonet lug, and I didn't get to look too hard last night. Safe arrives today so when I move them into that I will try to get more info and a serial number. If this thing is worth that kinda cash or anything close I need to let my FIL know right away because his wife just went through a double breast removal, is currently in chemo and radiation both and only the 4th case of whatever breast cancer she has in the whole world. Something about how aggressive and location, don't know much about it, but she went from 185lbs to 95lbs in less than 60 days, kinda creepy. I can't think of a single time when I've been in a car and seen someone open their door in stop-and-go driving. If someone does that while bikes are lane splitting past him I'd be first to call it an intentional act. As was said before, it would have to be legal and accompanied by a massive public information campaign and signs and stuff that all point out not only that lane splitting is legal, but that drivers that change lanes or opening doors have to yield to lane splitters. I'd be all for allowing bikes to use the emergency lanes during stop-and-go traffic. That would allow us to remain safely clear of car doors. I also advocate a law I call "Vulnerable road user intimidation". Any person who uses their vehicle to intimidate another vehicle less than half their size. Any car that tries to muscle a bike out of a lane or tailgate a bike would be charged, and it would be a DUI-level offense - and helmet cam footage can be used to issue the ticket.
