I saw someone at the range a few days ago teaching what I would assume to be his wife how to shoot for the first time. Not only did she have just an awful standing position, she wasn't gripping the pistol right at all and was having a really hard time hitting the (rather large) target at 25 ft. I didn't know whether they would be insulted by me telling her a better way to hold the gun, but now I wished I would have. I can honestly say that I like shooting better when i'm hitting my target , maybe she would have enjoyed it more too.

I've been reading what little news coverage this event has gotten and noticed a lot of comments like 'I wish these people had the same passion for feeding the homeless or something useful as they do for their guns". Most anti gun rambling about "assault weapons" and all that i usually pass off as ignorance (people assuming an AR-15 is a machine gun and whatnot), but these kinds of statements just really piss me off. How can anyone that is not a total idiot assume that because someone spends a few hours to peacefully protest, that means that they don't volunteer or have passion for things that help our society? Is the american public getting this dumb, or is it just the dumb people who speak louder and more often?

Interesting. I would have never thought about sweet potatoes. This morning I just threw a bunch of random stuff together and its pretty good: -1 long carrot -1 apple -1 orange -3 spinach leaves -6 strawberries I had a garden last year in the yard that I bought nutrient rich soil to add to it so the plants would grow. This year, I'm just going to add all the pulp from the juicer and mix into the soil! Hope it works
