  1. Welcome to the madness.
  2. Looking where I want to go has gotten me out of some situations where I've come in too hot. It also happens to be one of the hardest things to do. What usually gets me is when I am leaned over in a corner and a car comes the opposite way, I want to look but know I shouldnt and should keep looking through the turn. Glad you are ok!!
  3. Jordan at Kennedy's Cycles gives good deals on RF1200's. I dont think you'd pay much more over 400 for a basic RF1200. Honestly that extra 50 bucks you'd spend would be worth it, I love mine and my friend's loves theirs. Tell him Tim the Azn sent you . (I get no kick backs.)
  4. damn bachelor parties happening on ducati demo days.
  5. Jim doesn't have a good track record with moisture at mid-o I don't think.
  6. I've never used a hose/bucket until this year on the trumpet. Seems to work well, I normally am a quick detailer kind of guy though.
  7. That just tells me that theres too much shiny shit on the motorcycle
  8. Good thing my visor was only like a 1/4 of what I paid for my helmet
  9. I mean look at this bad boy... I never want to take it off haha. Sent from my iPhone.
  10. I've ridden with snow on the ground with my rf1200 pinlock. Does a great job. Only got the slightest bit of fog while stuck at a abnormally long light and I had all my vents closed. Still, it wasnt in my field of vision, it was at the very bottom near the breath guard. I personally am not a fan of the internal sun visor. I rock my mirrored shields all day every day. My new multi colored mirrored shield is slightly lighter than my other mirrored shield. I can ride at night with no issues. But I also don't live out in the boondocks so there are streetlights everywhere I am going at night normally.
  11. I also pay attention to those corner speed signs. I found those to be helpful. But always took that information with a grain of salt. I definitely appreciate the tow Derek! I'd follow you anytime! Sent from my iPhone.
  12. I think the thing I struggle most with is corner entry speed in corners I cant see through. I don't know if its a decreasing radius, a quick bend, a sweeper, etc. The fact that I had Derek and Tpoppa towing me around helped greatly on Saturday as I do not know those roads as well... yet.
  13. haha I wonder how many cars we ended up passing going back up 83
  14. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to follow Derek and/or Tony all day. I learned a lot just by following their lines and corner entry speeds. They both were within my comfort zone so I as able to do it with confidence. My general rule of thumb is if I am having to brake into each corner to keep up, I am riding too fast. I try to ride at the Pace as much as I can. If anyone has any other input on my riding this weekend, please let me know as I am always aiming to be better and more important safer rider!
  15. Welcome! Sent from my iPhone.
  16. That Statey musta been really bored... Home a bit ago. Not sure how many miles. Tpoppa how many did you do since I live "close" to you? Nice to meet some new people today too. Everyone stayed rubber side down so I think that's a pretty damn good day. Thanks for setting it up Derek, the roads were good and the pace was perfect. On to the pics: Sent from my iPhone.
  17. See you guys in Wooster. Sent from my iPhone.
  18. Hoping to get my oil changed and chain adjusted tonight after work.
  19. Magnetic Oil Drain Plug for 2007 Triumph Daytona 675?
  20. Dealer in GA forgot to take the car I am looking at purchasing to get a PPI... Got that straightened out.
