  2. No clue. If you decide it's time to upgrade let me know and I can find you something cheap if you want, dunno what else to say. Someone else may know.
  3. Not everyone has time for the lol thread.
  4. Glad I could help you for a change
  5. Also, so far this is only affecting people paying for their own insurance. The serious pain and outrage will be next year when the employer mandate kicks in and everyone else in the country goes through the same process. Right at election time...
  6. It was designed to fail from the beginning so they could push a single payer system, and everyone would be so beaten down that they would just roll over and accept it. I don't think they intended on it failing this hard, this quickly. I hope it keeps blowing up in their faces, and I hope someone in congress calls his ass out about trying to run around enforcement of his own law. He shit in his own bed, now he gets to lay in it.
  7. If you decide to go with a new sound card, you can either go the easy route with this: http://www.microcenter.com/product/353890/Sound_Blaster_X-Fi_Go!_Pro_External_Sound_Card If you don't mind popping open the case you could get this: http://www.microcenter.com/product/310207/Sound_Blaster_Audigy_SE_PCI_Sound_Card And if you just want cheap as fuck, you could get this: (note, I've never used this brand before so no clue on quality) http://www.microcenter.com/product/239854/6_Channel_PCI_Sound_Card Those are both PCI cards. They fit into one of the three white slots on the right side of your picture, so make sure you have one free before buying a card. The one I linked to first just plugs into any open USB port, don't need to open the case.
  8. Found this in regards to issues with Vista, but it's worth a try. This is assuming you already installed the drivers from Realtek. Source here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/234676-28-realtek-alc888-965p-sound#. Edit - also go into the BIOS setup and make sure sound is enabled.
  9. Every day? I'll have to inform a couple people about that one.
  10. Keep in mind that all the cops knew is they were chasing a stolen vehicle, that wasn't stopping. And wasn't afraid to ram them. Tough call for sure, but considering the circumstances they probably chose the correct one. And I'm editing the first post with a MUCH better version of the dash cam footage, which is here:
  11. Kids, investing either in a business or stocks (something that brings in money), guns. In that order. Although after rocking a $500 daily driver for over two years now, I'm ready for a reasonably priced daily that is still fun to drive, but something that will stay completely stock.
  12. Here's a rough one. A guy on Arfcom announces he is dying of cancer. Guy in his 40's with a wife and young kids. The people on there do what they can to keep his spirits up, and also start donating money like crazy to his family. One guy donated an M1A rifle to the guy's son. Last his wife posted, he was on life support. Sounded like he might make it back off, but dunno at this point. If this thread doesn't make you tear up, nothing will. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1549944_I_m_Dying.html
  13. That stuff has been rumored and threatened by the providers for years now. It's always met serious resistance, and they dropped it.
  14. New Mexico is the Southwest, not the South. Not quite the same. Feel free to watch the entire thing, or go to 3:40... More http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=police+dog+false+alert&sm=3
  15. Throw down guns? Planning on a heist? Something here doesn't add up.
  16. They are trained so that the handler is able to make them look like they got a hit, even if nothing is there. This is a case of dirty ass cops, a judge that doesn't care, and doctors that either don't know any better or were scared of repercussions of standing up to those dirty ass cops.
  17. Read the link I posted. Uncertified drug dog, and there is now a pattern of this behavior by those cops.
  18. You gonna get raped http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S3210356.shtml?cat=500#.Untoa-KmXT4
  19. I've had a couple HPs along with a couple friends. They all ran hot, the batteries were shot quickly, and the power cords failed. I'd avoid them. I've been using a refurb lenovo for about 2 years now. It's been great, but has been starting to blue screen maybe once or twice a week, not sure why.
  20. I watch zero sports. Flipping through channels gets really old really fast for me. I don't miss that a bit. I hardly have time for tv anyway. Most of what I want to watch is either on Netflix or Hulu. Southpark is on their own website, southparkstudios.com For everything else I use http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/ On the rare occasion all of those fail me I'll spend the $2 for an episode on Amazon Prime. Amazon and Free TV Project don't work on internet devices, which is why I use a computer instead of my XBOX for tv. Hulu occasionally will show large live events, otherwise I wouldn't know where to see that kind of thing.
  21. I'm internet only. Those gadgets that you hook up to your tv are nice, but there are websites that stream stuff that you can't get on them. I'd recommend having a decent computer hooked up to at least one tv in the house for watching stuff you otherwise won't be able to see.

    BCM ARs

I couldn't deal with looking at the dueling penises in the Spikes logo, for that alone I wouldn't ever go with them. Mega lower for $125 from wherever. Lower parts kit with alg trigger from white oak armament for $100. Buffer tube assembly from bcm for I think $55. Just add stock, grip and trigger guard and lower is done. Countless options for the upper. PSA is the easy way to go if they have something in stock for once. I'd also see what bcm and aim surplus has in stock.

Do you want something out of the box ready to go, or are you willing to do some building?

    BCM ARs

Bravo Company (BCM) is about as good as you can find. I've heard some very mixed things about G&R Tactical though. I think this is what you are looking for: http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-Mid-16-AR15-Bravo-Company-s/142.htm I'd suggest going to your preferred local dealer and asking if they could order that for you. Or, go the route favored by most of us and build your own. I wouldn't spend a grand on a Smith&Wesson AR. They just aren't worth that much. For that money you can get a Colt from anywhere.
