  1. Oh, mine is a Reddy Heater. RC55CT
  2. Mine is some off brand but looks identical. I need to see what it is.
  3. I've taken sandpaper to them several times. I'm guessing at this point its just dusty, but yeah I wouldn't be opposed to getting a new rotor and vanes. Where would I find those?
  4. In my heater, the vanes stick. It's been like this since it was new. When I turn it on they either keep the motor from spinning, or they don't slide properly. Think new vanes would do the trick or is there some sort of cleaning I could do?
  5. Crossing state lines with a gun = shooting yourself in the dick???? Negative. There's a sticky about this in the gun section for a reason... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firearm_Owners_Protection_Act Since you are crossing state lines, the federal gov actually did something smart for once. The problem is that state cops would probably still try to nail you for whatever they can if they happen to find you in their jurisdiction, but federal law would bail you out so long as you were following it. I don't see how (or why I should have to) get an Indiana permit to transport a firearm if I don't live in Indiana. Or why I couldn't drive to Vermont or New Hampshire with an AR, passing through NY. Or why I couldn't drive through Colorado on my way to Nevada with 30 round PMAGs. Just have to make sure everything is inaccessible without getting out of the car or, if there's no trunk, unlocking the case, and everything is unloaded, and you are fine.
  6. The 4x4s I've owned had all terrains year round. Everything else got snow tires for the winter. It's one less thing to worry about with my long ass commute.
  7. Exactly. They are getting a .40 close to market, and have said that they can easily scale this up to .45 as was also done with the original. Interesting note - the original Model 51 in .45 would have replaced the M1911 in the military had WWI not gotten in the way.
  8. Remington says it will handle +P just fine
  9. It's a VERY common shape, so it easily looks like a dozen different guns. The only one that it has anything actually in common with is the Remington Model 51 from 100 years ago. Internal hammer is kinda weird for me, but with a non-tilting barrel and the locked breech design, it's suppose to be very soft recoil and very accurate. And for a $389 MSRP, I really want to get my hands on one.
  10. Tansky sucks. Go to Toyota West or Germain. Or if you don't mind driving, C&C Dodge Toyota in Marietta has been good to my parents.
  11. Do they look like this? http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp201/copperhead035/1472914_10103863455221685_133736327_zpsa6df6e34.jpg
  12. Dunno about local but this place ships fast: http://midwestpx.com/index.php?cPath=70 If you want cheap go with ALG ACT, if you have money to blow then get whatever Geissele looks like what you want.
  13. Mobile version of the website so they are low-res. Here's an updated link. I'll edit the original post to fix it... http://motortrend.com/roadtests/coupes/1312_2015_ford_mustang_first_look/
  14. Any idea if this will be at the Columbus Auto Show this year? I like it.....except the "powered by ford" valve cover, wtf is that.
  15. Absolutely no idea. Call or email them and ask. http://www.gunenvystore.com/
  16. I've got a Rock Island (Armscor) Tactical 1911 chambered in .45. It's my second one, sold my original GI model to upgrade to this. I loved my GI but the sites sucked and it was cheaper to sell it and buy the Tactical than it would have been to have the slide cut and new sites installed. To me, I'm either getting a cheap 1911 that is functional, or an expensive one to show off at the range. I don't really see the point of something in between. Rock Island has been great to me. I'd suggest calling Gun Envy and seeing what they have in stock. If they don't have any Tacticals then you can order from Sarco or Bud's Gun Shop and have it shipped to your FFL of choice. Bud's had them dirt cheap for black friday. I'm kicking around the idea of getting an RIA 1911 in 9mm next just to try to stick with one caliber for the range, I just picked up an M&P FS 9mm and already have a Shield 9mm. They are also trying to push a new caliber they came up with, I believe it's .22 TCM. They have models that have barrels for 9mm and that .22 which might be worth looking into. Edit - I was correct, .22 TCM is a shortened .223 round that fits in standard 9mm mags. Sounds fun, but expensive and hard to find. More info on RIA and the .22 TCM here: http://www.shotgunnews.com/2013/01/09/smallbore-slabsides-rock-island-armory-22-tcm-review/
  17. You are doing but nothing but hurting your family by not accepting help. This is about more than just you and your pride. Government programs exist for people in your situation. Refusing these programs due to not wanting to be associated with the people that abuse those programs simply because they can is bullshit. Family and friends are offering to help because they WANT to help, not because they feel obligated. If you were begging for help it would be different, and some people are probably offended by your refusing them. Take whatever help you can. Do everything you have to to keep your wife getting better and your kids fed and sheltered. This includes taking care of yourself. Then worry about your pride last, there are far more important things in life. This is a form of you being selfish, and this isn't the time.
  18. Factory reset should fix it. That's what tech support will tell you to try first anyway. If you are rooted, try fixing permissions.
  19. Olympic Arms is universally hated. There's other stuff, that's better, and probably cheaper.
  20. http://nypost.com/2013/12/24/obama-enrolls-for-health-coverage-wont-use-it/ This is lulzy on so many levels
  21. Does anyone have a safety they wouldn't mind parting with that was removed from an M&P handgun?
