  1. Looking for a vet with normal hours on Saturday. I'm trying to avoid an emergency fee, the dog ripped out a toe nail and I don't want to wait until Monday to take care of it. I'm in Johnstown so the closer the better, thanks.

  3. A note on the $30 plan... It's only offered when you are first signing up online. Once you are signed up, there's no trace of it to be found. So decide which one you want before you make it that far. $30 a month - 100 minutes, free text, 5 gigs $50 a month - unlimited minutes/text, 500 megs $60 a month - unlimited minutes/text, 2.5 gigs $70 a month - unlimited everything There's also about $5 taxes and BS on top of that. If you want the fuel points you can get refill cards at Kroger or (I assume) Giant Eagle.
  4. From the small print on T-Mo's website: You only get 50 megs of roaming data though, regardless of how it's used.
  5. T-Mobile simcards are free right now http://slickdeals.net/f/6477450-available-again-t-mobile-prepaid-phone-sim-card-activation-kit-full-micro-or-nano-size-free-free-shipping
  6. I've got a 20 gauge pump 870 Express for sale. Vent rib barrel, 26" barrel, wood furniture. Comes with original box, plug, trigger lock, factory choke (I think modified, not sure) and choke removal tool. Has maybe 100 rounds through it, like new condition. $300, no trades please.
  7. You should get a Nexus 5 instead. Unless you are on Verizon.
  8. It's 10 cents a minute over the 100 allotted minutes. If you are on that plan you would have to talk for 400 minutes in a month to catch up to the $60 unlimited talk/text/2.5 gigs plan. There are also ways to do voice over IP to use data instead of minutes but I'd rather spend the money and not have to fuck around with all that.
  9. So the guy has been charged, but not convicted. The story says they found no evidence of drugs. Sounds like any decent lawyer should get him cleared, and it sounds like a BS use of the law. The law itself sounds like its just another stupid charge to tack on when prosecuting drug runners.
  10. T mobile doesn't count your 2g data usage, and my experience has been you are never on 3g with them, so they only count your 4g usage. I've been using between 1 and 2 gigs a month. I think last month I used 600 megs
  11. Straight Talk throttles after 2.5 gigs a month, otherwise I would have suggested it already.
  12. So when can we be rid of the 31 round magazine ban?
  13. Also, you could do what I did and give them a test drive. Order a SIM card off their website and just pre pay for a month, see how it works for you. I'm not sure if the iPhones from ATT have the correct LTE radio installed, so you may be stuck with HSPA+, which honestly is still pretty good. One thing that people don't like about them is that they can't get discounted phones every two years. I personally am fine with having a lower bill, and buying whatever phone I want whenever I want. I got a Nexus 4 right after the price dropped to blow them out, I'll run it until I get tired of it and then just order whatever the current Nexus device is, and pay cash and not get locked into another stupid contract.
  14. I recently switched from Sprint to T-Mobile. I work in Grove City just off Stringtown and have a solid LTE connection, and working at night I pull 30 megabit, but I haven't tested it here during the day. Other places I'm usually around 23 - 25 megabit during daytime hours on LTE. They have done a very good job of lighting up LTE in places that already had HSPA/HPSA+. The problem is that now there's really nothing between LTE and Edge (2g) which is very slow, but still on par with the best Sprint could give me. I only have Edge at my house in Johnstown, but I don't really care because I just jump on wifi. I think very highly of T-Mo, but they REALLY need to start building towers away from the cities. I roam most of the drive to my parent's in south east Ohio. Something to keep in mind is that they throttle on an as-needed basis. I believe post-paid plans with the lowest caps get priority, down the line through post-paid, then pre-paid with lowest caps, and the unlimited pre-paid plans get lowest priority. So if you get that plan and are on a congested tower, your speeds will suffer first. But as soon as the congestion is gone, you are right back to full speed. Considering I've yet to see under 20 megabit on LTE, which is faster than my home connection, I have no problem with this. I started off with the unlimited plan but noticed I wasn't even hitting 2 gb in a month so I went to the 2.5 gb plan. The other nice thing with T-Mo is that if you do hit your cap, you just get throttled to Edge speed, rather than having to pay more to keep going. You really can't go wrong with T-Mo so long as you stick to their service area. If you are out in rural areas a lot, you will probably want to go with Verizon.
  15. Not trying to be a dick, but why did you go to the trouble of getting a degree in economic management if you want to become a welder? You could have taken classes at the county career center for that instead of spending 4 or more years and thousands or tens of thousands of dollars on a degree that you don't seem to have any intent of using. I'd say get a job in your field, unless there aren't any out there, and weld in your spare time for fun.
  16. He's trying to figure out how to post them Edit - I did it for him.
  17. PA requires zero training. Just walk in, hand them $20 and pass the background check. VA allows ANY training, including hunter safety courses. There are websites that charge you $20 - $40, have you watch a short video on youtube, then give you a test that you take until you pass, and then you get a certificate that allows you to get a VA permit. These places aren't known for vigilantes or any large number of CCW holders doing dumb shit. I wouldn't be opposed to "testing into" classes, that are required to get the permit. Require that the person is able to pass a written test showing the various parts of a gun and how they work. Fail that test, you have to go through a basics class before moving on to the laws section. This way people that are already familiar with guns don't have to go through the "this is a trigger, and the gun shoots when you pull it" parts of the training. Have the laws section required to cover certain material, and make a realistic minimum time to go through it. The class I took had a lawyer come in to speak, and at the end they were still trying to come up with more stuff to say. I personally was very disappointed in how my 2 hours of range time used up half a box of rounds. In two hours of training I'd like to run through at least 100. And this was a class of maybe 15 people. So this could stand to be improved. I'd like to say the second amendment doesn't say I need to have permission to carry a gun, but sadly there are plenty of people out there that need lots of training before they can carry safely.

Looks nice dude I think I need an M&P as well, but not one that expensive.
  19. I think I still have a complete Ice Age series somewhere, along with an Ice Age starter deck. Any idea what that stuff would be worth now?
  20. We've been hearing this from all the truck makers for what, a decade now? I'll believe it when I see it.

  22. Also, it could mean the car was serviced for a rattle, or it was serviced because the engine exploded and the transmission was left somewhere down the highway. I noticed Fiat isn't even on that list.
