Don't the 600 ECMs rev 1000 or 2000 higher than the 750s? If you run the 600 stuf on the 750 there's going to be power trade offs - basically less top end for more mid range

I'd like to know the definitive word on this either cage or bike - Ohio law (when I last looked into it) states that if a vehicle is going through an intersection and the light is yellow he or she may continue through even if it turns red. The law doesn't appear to care if the light was yellow going in or not, just if its yellow and you're in the intersection go through. I've been stopped 2 times once with a warning, once with a red light ticket when I saw the light turn from yellow to red in the rear view mirror of the GEO Storm I used to roll in.

I do some of both. I have a cheap old Bieffe helmet 10 years old at least. I usually just strap it to handlebar or some other convenient spot and walk around. If I'm wearing a backpack, I'll strap it to that. Happily married here so don't care about what the chickies like lol.

Also birds accelerating and climbing too quickly in the air can be shot on site, tots on trikes can be sent to bed without supper or snack if they skid out on the sidewalk. Concrete and pavement will be replaced by nerf material, new standards will require nerf body suits when riding, when does the madness end? I know it would seem simple and easy to legislate every aspect of life, but for crying out loud, perhaps it makes more sense to actually enforce the current laws before drawing up junk like this.

I'd have to agree with these guys, maybe you could rent a compression guage from Autozone, take your spark plug in so they can get you the right adapter. Ask them how to use it or search online, maybe Ron could tell ya. A compression / leakdown reading helps narrow down exactly what's going on. These engines are great when they're running right, if the rear carb is running lean then the rear cylinder head could overheat and blow the head gasket.

I have a heap of stuff from helping out a friend that I'd like to find a good home for. Frame has no title - Frame and swingarm with shocks and triple trees still on it, seat that cover is worn, pan and pad look fine, engine is locked up - is complete less stator cover, milk crate with other goodies such as guages, caliper, turn signals, other misc stuff. $150 for this mechanics special, if you ever wanted to make a skoot just for going around campgrounds or crazy stunts / stupid stuff here you go.

I've run out of momentum for fixing this bike so I'm putting it up on the cheap. Clean clear Ohio title (in my hand) bike is all there, right now the upper and lowers are off of it. Plastics have repairable cracks, I don't recall any missing tabs or chunks. 35k miles carbs have been jetted, comes with pod filters on carbs, 4-1 Vance and hines full system on it. I've heard it try to run - has spark, has gas, I think cam timing is to blame I may have cams out of synch (when I bought it covers were off and needed timing chain put back on it). Comes with spare guages. I'm selling it cheap, first come first served. First to bring me $450 gets this old skool beast. I'll get pix up this weekend. May consider partial trade of a 2001 - 2005 GSXR 750 or 04/05 GSXR600 or 01 - 04 GSXR1000 Complete front end with Handlebars, triple trees, wheel with rotors and decent tire, calipers, master cylinder just as though it was bolted off the neck and complete.
