  1. Yeah, I thought so. Wasn't sure. Vincent still has a website up. http://www.vincentmotors.com/ edit: ok, the website is selling t-shirts and hats and not much else... so sad...
  2. lol, wut? Get with the times. Soon all engines will be made in China! I'll take what I can get...
  3. Think Vincent USA. Powered by Honda. www.motorcycledaily.com Now that is what I call a V-Twin. I'm drooling... my drool is drooling...
  4. Sept. 13, 1948, - Vincent HRD Black Lightning racing motorcycle - 150.313 m.p.h. They kinda cheated, lots of parts were removed. But Vincents held records for a lot of years over in Britain. Still searching...
  5. MV Agusta is currently producing the F4 1078 RR 312. 312kph being the recorded top speed at the Salt Flats in Utah in 2007.The RR312 reached a recorded top speed of 195, but since speeds are averaged, it's recorded top speed is 194mph, or metric, 312kph. I don't like the source, is this for real?
  6. After reading all this, and searching on the internet, and compiling a spreadsheet... There are 15 confirmed Bike Nights in the Columbus area. Some are new, and might have hardly anyone there, or might fail. Also other Bike Nights in Dayton, Johnstown and Pataskala. There are 4 Bike Nights that are maybes. Not enough information. There are 6 to 8 bike nights that might happen, if they get organized. There is some interest in FlashMob Bike Nights, just suddenly going where ever. This doesn't even include the popular gathering at Taco Bell on High Street.
  7. Totally awesome opportunity... and totally impressive too.
  8. The suspense is killing me...
  9. They switched it again... They sneaky multiple times like that...
  10. They all usually late to start also. Just sayin! We had lots of meets last year, big deals, little deals, quick decisions, major decisions. We don't have to choose one over another, unless they are on the same day at the same time. There's also no way we can each go to them all. With nearly 4000 people and friends, it will happen, and those that go will be there. If only three people show up, that's fine too. Party of three, have a seat.
  11. Some kids when they turn 18, it's suddenly "pay back time" and everyone they've ever pissed off or messed with, comes looking for them. Including the Law, with or without a warrant. Maybe there are good reasons to be leaving town. And the farther away the better. Events after turning 18 can drastically change a person's perspective on life. And unfortunately, those under 18 often can't see that coming.
  12. Yup, in the city, watch behind all the time. I've been hit twice from behind on a bike by cars, and once by a bike. Mine weren't too serious, but it's best to watch out for the unthinkable.

Stick with Urban Future Operations (UFO) (Orange jumpsuit optional...) Taurus Concept Is Like Hot Segway Bike From the Future
  14. I dumped a lot of 32x32, 33x32, 34x32 jeans, in December, at Ohio Thrift Store, 4618 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH‎. If you need something in particular, ask, and I'll stop over there and look. edit: I just go to Target and buy Wranglers for 12 to 16 bucks...
  15. It's a skill, learn it. Otherwise, won't know how to ride in the rain when it happens.
  16. All this talk about bike nights, and no one actually saying "when" When do any of them start, or is it too early yet to say for sure.
  17. On Facebook, where they switched to Five Guys instead. They're sneaky like that...
  18. You mean the Moose Bar? KoC is Knights of Columbus. Private bar. But you'll have to get me over there for the "secret knock" to get in...
  19. Illegal in Ohio, but not enforced against motorcycles. Ohio has the one ear only rule, except for sound built into helmets is legal. No way the sound in helmets rule was originally intended for motorcycles. It was meant for EMT, fire and law enforcement. Basically, the earphones can't be seen under the helmet. Therefore, unable to enforce. edit: I've tried various passive sound suppressing earphones for music. Cheap Skull Candy buds gets my vote.
  20. crap, don't ask me, I don't know, dude... You're arguing with yourself again, JRMMiii hahahaha
  21. Dunno... I swear half the bars in the county are listed as gay. I can't tell unless it's REAL obvious when I walk in the door... vv what he said... ^^ what he said... Pimpin'... Shallowtail @ Dolphin Lounge 10:00pm - Apr 10 Artmeggedon's band will play there. Some of us will probably be there. Hoping it's halfway warm and not raining. I'm riding...
  22. hahaha, I don't do Onion news... Search the Google or Yahoo news feeds... for the states vs fed on health care btw, I heard someone say the HSAs are dead now. that's not true. OTC purchases with HSA will be dropped. Which were probably abused anyway.
  23. since this news is suppressed, lost in the hysteria of the media, I'm going to tell you. There are thirteen states suing the federal government on the issue of federal health care. There will probably be more. It's only been one or two days so far. edit: argh, possible repost, Casper saw it also, and has it posted on Facebook...
  24. Dang it, it's just wrong to have to buy any tire with any defect. There should be no cracks, splits, fractures, blemishes or nothing on a new tire... And it shouldn't show any for 6 years minimum, although that would include shelf life before it was purchased. Unless exposed to major ozone, like right next to an electric motor or something...
