  1. So there is no class for competition for hermaphrodites? hmm She's still she, no doubt XX chromosomes... mostly... Ok, I don't know, but they are right about the medical dangers. She's going to need a bit of surgery.
  2. It's been on for a while. They definitely get into some weird stuff. Kinda cool actually. I think one of the first ones was "let's go find a yeti". edit: actually, I might be thinking of two similar shows on scifi. They seem to be the same people, but I think the name of the show changed? Not sure now.
  3. I think Suzuki owes somebody a free frame. I'm guessing that one was defective welds...

  5. I've noticed a huge increase in clunkers being sold by dealers, listed in craigslist. Go figure on that... not supposed to happen, but I think some dealers decided not to turn the paper work in on some of the vehicles. They decided to just sell them used like normal.
  6. but wait... we haven't paid off World War II yet... argh...

  13. hahaha, one of my high school teachers used to do modeling for part time job. Mostly ski gear and clothing. He walking into a store and saw a full sized cardboard cutout of himself. It was selling cigarettes, and had a cigarette in his hand and a pack... He doesn't smoke...
  14. For fun, I took one on another website that probably isn't checking data or email. It didn't ask for stuff like that. It appears I'm pretty damn healthy. Ignore the theme of the website, and just take the silly test... Virtual Age Calculator
  15. Ok, so those popular FaceBook tests that people take just look like info mining to me. You know, where they collect information on population or individuals and sell it for fun and profit. So here's an article in New York Times that says the most popular of the tests does exactly that. The test for "What's Your Real Age?". Apparently it is majority funded by pharmaceutical drug companies: New York Times article on "Online Age Quiz: information gathering.

  20. If you remember one of my posts on 555 last year. If you are riding north on 555, there is one little rise over a hill with a quick turn to the left. If you go airborne, you might not make the turn. What I noticed was that if going straight off the road instead of turning, it was downhill from there, either through the side of a trailer sitting low off the road, or bouncing off the top and off into the meadow. That one made me pucker in sympathy...
  21. geez, you could have gotten one of us with 555 time to baby foot it through the corners for you. Really, 555 is all about riding a high line into the corners, till you see the (clean) line out. So it's all hard acceleration out of corners to stay happy, for me anyway. Too many corners have mixed radius/elevation/road surface/etc. I'm not even counting the skittered sideways on 555 tar snakes coming into or out of corners.
  22. Yeah, I figured that. Guess I was hoping for something a little more exciting. Although I suppose you have to be there for the full effect (and loaded). Medics - please stand by with the BBB (Burned Bunz Bandages©)
