yes, I remember your post, in pics and vids this isn't a post about movie trailers, it's a post about the new Sony website playing up the movie. And posted in links. http://www.instituteforhumancontinuity.org/ Don't forget to sign up to survive the apocalypse... maybe I should have referenced the original post. But I didn't, I linked the Sony movie trailer site. MUHAHAHAHA I linked the Sony website for trailers anyway, not a youtube. HiDef stuff. Even if the Sony website flash freezes my poor old computer...

  5. Ok, float position too. In particular, the chunky float needle that lets fuel go to the main jet and needle jet. The jet needle is the skinny one on the other side of the main jet and needle jet. Both control and regulate fuel. This is midrange and high end fuel, and either one out of position or condition would dump excess fuel into the cylinder at idle, and MIGHT be the source of backfiring in the exhaust, at idle.
  6. A back fire is combustion in the exhaust. Timing off will do it, leaky exhaust valve will do it, and fuel in the exhaust pipe will do it. Is it now running too rich for some reason? Backfires at idle, heh? Is the throttle slide needle in the right place? As well as the throttle slide? Either would dump huge amounts of fuel into the cylinder at idle. If a carb has a blocked idle jet passage, it won't respond normally to turning the mixture screw. It will either do nothing, or turn too much to get anything. And if the throttle slide is stuck up too high, it won't respond to adjusting the idle screw, if it's the type that moves the throttle slide up and down. (Moving the needle in and out of the main jet.) edit: if the main jet was clogged before, the needle and slide may have been up too high to compensate. Once cleaned out, it may be releasing too much fuel, until it's once again adjusted properly for control of fuel at idle.
  7. Here's hoping there is a Hell full of dogs, for guys like that...
  8. Just put a damn number on each one. IF somebody wants to know, they pay a buck to find out.... kaching...
  9. wife? lol, no wife. I'm free to set fire to things anytime
  10. Wasn't me. Not a good idea from this computer. It was probably ODOT just looking around and repositioning to a better view.
  11. It's back on target, It looked like a hacker moved it. Not that I would know anything about hacking street cameras.... *cough*
  12. Watch now on ODOT freeway webcam http://cmhimg01.dot.state.oh.us/images/CMH/CMH041-L.jpg You'll have to hit the refresh button for this link Or watch it on the ODOT site, I71 at I670 cam. From the http://www.buckeyetraffic.org/ website. We heard a couple of explosions from this house fire. It's near downtown Columbus. Lots of smoke, but it's under control. geez... somebody is moving the webcam all around... little hackers...
  13. Last year, they had some food, water, and drinks at Roosters. Not all of it was free. If I remember right, they had a little breakfast buffet thing for a low price. But with that many people, it will be gone if you are late.
  14. repacking muffler... hmmm.... Story time I bought a muffler for the lawn mower, but while waiting for it, I packed the old one with steel wool. Seemed to work, even with the big hole in the muffler. I gas it up, start it, and watch as it backfires and blows red hot steel wool out.... onto the gas I spilled... woof, lawnmower on fire. What to do. Don't have much time here, think fast. Oh gosh, there's a water hose right behind me. Let's put the fire out. I didn't even turn it off. I did receive a large spot of dead grass for my efforts. how to repack a motorcycle muffler.
  15. You didn't say which model and year of CB750 engine. But I'll toss in the basic CB750 service manual. 16. Updates, and yeah, I want to ride this one... http://www.myspace.com/officermcdowellpokerrun http://www.motorcyclemonster.com/events/Officer-Terry-McDowell-Memorial-2009-08-29-Whitehall-OH.html http://www.cyclefish.com/event/2484/
  17. Riding solo can get lost easy. One of these days I'll start demanding buddy system when riding. That way two can get lost together...
  18. One more thing. If an internet outfit won't take a check or money order as an option, I'd rather not do business with them. It's also nice to see a physical address and phone numbers for them also. Receiving money in the mail or wired puts them under Federal laws about bank, mail, and wire fraud. There is little protection yet created for "internet fraud". And even when there is some protection, there isn't much enforcement available.
  19. Then that one was a scam front end for the Google Links stuff. If a person could find the Google stuff at Google, it would be more likely to be not so darn expensive. I guess nothing in life is free anymore. btw, can I borrow your credit card for a bit?
  20. No, it's not a scam, if it's Google payments. Although there are scams related to everything. But a lot of people have trouble getting it going correctly. I think it's mostly referral payments, when people actually buy something after clicking through a link on your website(s). There are millions of websites like that, and I avoid them like the plague. The ebay stuff is probably talking about drop shipping sales on ebay. Where you don't have to actually have stock and ship it. The champion of drop shipping is Amazon.com edit: There is no way posting a single link results in a straight up 25 dollar payment. It probably means that link generated 25 dollars over some certain length of time.
  21. One carb down out of four will make it bog down. Barely run. It's lean. Fuel isn't getting to one or all carbs. The problem is in there somewhere. About half the time I have to clean a carb twice to get the problem out. So I just clean them twice in the first place and save some time. If it's not idling, it does sound like either an air leak or an idle jet. The problem is, with that type of problem the bike should still run when throttle is applied. I think I'd look for a slide or needle or diaphragm that isn't moving, or isn't positioned correctly. These are CV? Look for an air leak around the top of the throttle slide diaphragm cover, or the vacuum lines. You probably have the correct carb isolated, if it's starting to respond to attempts to correct. You ever find the "won't run when wet problem"? edit: oops, thought you meant the Vmax...
  22. wut? no loctite? I loctite everything. Blue. Not the dang red stud and bearing mount stuff. I would like to remove it in the future. I don't have anything fall off now. I do not want to know how many parts I've had fall off of motorcycles in the past... But the all time favorite is Norton header flanges that loosen and let the pipe pull out, and turn and point up at you while riding down the freeway. Those have to be safety wired...
  23. Used is ok. But I wouldn't want to go used for a regulator. I buy stuff new from cheapcycleparts.com Your RR is $138.39 there. Any discount price for new, that is close to that is good. You did good tracing the fault.
  24. I was shooting without looking, I said i missed taking the pic... I didn't... lookie, it's a Ben with a camera:
