  1. I never log out... from 3 or 4 computers... I rode to work I rode at lunch I rode home I rode this evening wtf did you do
  2. I've bought loads of stuff through PayPal. And never once been asked to pay PayPal fees charged to the Seller's account. Nor have I ever paid any charges other than sale price and shipping, and occasionally insurance. Another point, the older GoPro 3Gpixel cameras do not have the anti-shake/blurring circuitry, and are not worth much. They just don't work as well as the newer GoPro that does have the anti-shake/blurring circuitry. You haven't said which model you are looking at. It makes a difference in value.
  3. Probably so, even if I have no idea who Redneck Robby is. Tracy Lawrence is the show at 8pm on Saturday. I doubt I'll be there for that...
  4. Millersport Sweet Corn Festival Millersport Sweet Corn Festival is this weekend. But it is sep 2 through sep 5. So Saturday is the only logical day to go. Just wondering if there is any interest in it. edit: The West Jefferson Ox Roast is this same weekend, but they don't actually serve any Ox sammichs till Monday night.http://www.westjeffoxroast.com/
  5. Do you need help locating it? I can say ATGATT here, ladders are deadly. You don't wear boots at work? (or around deadly ladders...?)
  6. I've forced them to show up on a Saturday. Good luck with that. It wasn't easy.
  7. Plug a USB keyboard in and see if it types correctly. Also, try booting in DOS or safe mode, just to see if it types correctly. Or boot to a boot CD, as that will load other drivers for everything. The data will help determine what to fix. I lean toward the bad keyboard or bad connection for the keyboard. edit: and oh yeah, what Justin said. A good cleaning might just fix it. Or at least improve it, which says cleaning it is most of the task. Even if the keyboard has to be removed to be cleaned.
  8. argh, for New Albany you'll have to call and pick up an accident report form. I don't see any downloads on line. New Albany Police Department 614.855.1234
  9. Here's the non-emergency number. I find it handy to have around.
  10. I'm reading the CPD traffic crash investigations procedures, and it says CPD has to make a report on any accident that requires a tow truck for a vehicle. Yes it says not on private property, but the above is one of the many exceptions. http://www.columbuspolice.org/Services/Services.html#What%20do%20I%20do%20if%20I'm%20in%20an%20accident? Here is the accident report and instructions for download online.Just print it and fill it out and follow instructions for turning it in. http://www.columbuspolice.org/FormsPublications/CrashReportContin.html I'm assuming this was Columbus, if not, it will be something else then.
  11. Not so, they will if there is an injury. And it's not up to a medic to say you are fine. I'm not trying to make you worry, but doctors make those decisions. No offense to medics and nurses. But any impact injury is likely to need examination and possibly xray. The darn airbags probably created the greater impact... Having said this, the last time I got hit by a mini-van/soccer mom, I didn't go to the doctor either. But it was a slow speed side swipe impact. Glad you are ok.
  12. Gosh, I got a 2004 CBR600RR service manual too. Guess I'm not surprised, I'm collecting them all in PDF. Actually, they aren't hard to find on the internetz.
  13. heh, I thought he meant Big Bear... as in astronomy... and welcome...
  14. hahahahahahahaha...... ok, I'm tired now...
  15. Sounds normal to me... oh, and the orange flavor rocks...
  16. I've heard of and seen speedo cables buzz and rattle before. They can wear down on one end or the other, and they will rattle (bounce back and forth) on the instrument cluster end. Check both ends to see if they are tight, and pull off and look close for signs of wear on the end of the inner cable. Replace if necessary. Especially since if left that way, it can and will hammer a hole right through the speedometer. Picture that rare event happening. I would have thought your bike had electronic speedo, not a cable. In that case it's maybe a part or piece inside the instrument cluster, and will have to come off and be found and fixed. Don't know about yours, but mine can be disassembled, and individual parts are available. I like that. If it will do this when parked, try using a tube of some kind, to listen through. It will point pretty close to the location of the noise. Try from different angles and see what you get. Instrument clusters have rubber bushings or washers to mount with. Check and make sure they are all there, and in good condition. Headlight cases have a habit of doing that with wires inside. Lining with thin foam fixes it, the non-absorbent kind of foam. I use the thin foam that comes on new LCD monitors. But that is more of a buzzing than a rattle.
  17. Call me crazy, but I don't remember any alcohol in the parking lot. Unless it was in a fuel tank somewhere... It was all indoors or on the patio.
  18. I like velcro gauntlets, to snug up on a jacket. That keeps the wind and rain out. My last pair was a cheap Iron Pony clearance item, and they only lasted a year, and stitches came out around the gel pad. I got something similar for 60 bucks at IP. The Olympia classic sport model 410, gel inside with padding outside, no real armor. I went one size larger, medium did fit, but they were too snug for throttle gripping. (And might shrink a bit after getting wet.) I like them. http://olympiagloves.com/viewgloves.html
  19. I noticed, I think we wuz trying to pop a wheelie when he pushed...
  20. Yes, thanks again. I see in the pic that Tarr was pushing by himself. I didn't look back there. He got going faster than I did when I tried the first time just sitting on it. Guess I didn't try hard enough. Thanks Tarr.
  21. I used to rent Kroger grocery store movies for 2 bucks. Same deal, just watch them right away and take them back right away. Now I reserve movies from the library. Mostly I try to get on the reserve list for the new movies, as soon as the reserve list is up and available.
  22. I've asked that also. Apparently we used to have some calling cards. For handing out, or leaving on parked bikes. I'll ask about them again. But I was thinking about making one of my own.
  23. A decent pair of gloves tops my list. All passengers should wear them. I've known several people to throw their hands out and do a deep rash on the palms of their hands. A rather permanent scar. I prefer the flip spin slide, or roll and tumble... but you never know...
  24. It won't hurt an electronic ignition, like it would burn the points on an old style bike. But the headlight sucks it down quickly. I'd say an interrupt circuit to kill the lights when it's not running would be cool, but I remember those old Yamaha Mach Ones. You would see them wink out going down the road, when they ran out of fuel and had to switch to reserve. Not so cool to have the headlight go out when the engine is off.
