You need louder pipes on your car (or truck)............. edit: I bet he didn't fracken signal either. Hand signals work.

With rear drums, I used to open them up every Spring and remove dust and debris. It seemed like a necessity to do that. Sometimes lightly sanding the glaze off the pads, even though sanding and messing with the pad material isn't recommended. It helped a lot with the function and feel of the rear brakes. Been down gently many times like that. It's a good idea to move the leg out of the way when it happens. Easy to say, hard to do. Yeah, I've bought a lot of rear brake levers. Eventually I'll buy two, keeping one as a spare. It seems to prevent needing to use it. That's fate. It's like carrying a band-aid, and you never cut yourself.

There's a few places around town I always check the right side "off the road", before moving that direction, in case a car tries to pass in a hurry. It happens way too often. Actually, I'm starting to check all the time, before making any turns, for idiots that aren't obeying "rules of the road". Another one that is dangerous, is people on the other side of the road trying to make a turn. You might know they aren't allowed to make a left turn from where they are, but they do it anyway. With those conditions, they aren't looking at you trying to turn from the other side.

The turn on 374, might be the one at the park entrance. It's tight, and easy to cross the center line. The corner speed posted won't help if rider not paying close attention. The only warning might be the park entrance sign, which should slow every one down anyway. The route 79 ramps at route 16, and vice versa, take out riders often. Not sure why, maybe just a popular area. edit: This is the view on 374 at the park entrance. It doesn't appear to even have a speed sign limit for the corner. It's very easy to over cook the turn. And it appears that the roadway leans left on the turn as well. With the park entrance, there is often traffic on the corner, and often slow. I've also seen cruisers cross the center line on 374, when trying to keep up with sport bikes. Don't do it.

lol, it's 38F out there. My furnace just kicked on. Recommending waiting till between 8am and 9am minimum. It might actually warm up to 45F by then. High of 65F today.

Yes, they are mostly all like that. I think by law they can keep 80%. And some get away with more than that. I was always told that Savation Army and Catholic Children's Services were the two that did not do that. And yes, all those phone calls asking for money keep 80% to 100% of what you give them. Probably the main reason I no longer have a land line. edit: And I still like the Red Cross. There is worse.

I mean a in a past reply to a forum posting. Like this one where I listed some Amazon links. It didn't convert? It looks like something dropped out. http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/101218-wtb-flip-up-sights-for-ar/#entry1325167

replys that have multiple links, are showing only the first link. Following links bomb out.

For that much cash, I'd do a search for breeders of breeds you're interested in. They usually show when they have litters ready to purchase, and indicate how many male/female. It is often a bit of a drive, but it's often dogs with linage papers. Which often costs extra. Large breeder outfits will have older dogs too. Same deal, at a lower cost. Breeders have their demands too. Often demand that you are not going into the breed business. Searching for a particular breed will also bring up websites that track adoptions by breed all over the country.

if you mean navigate with the cell phone... mine gets confused and turns the image sideways. It has to be more vertical. I've used TomTom in the clear cover, but that doesn't work either. Can't look while riding. Whatever is used for whatever, should be mounted up by handlebars or instruments. The clear cover is for a paper map. Not saying it won't work for a cell phone, but it didn't for me. edit: ok, I looked at the link, it might be vertical enough to navigate properly. Try a magnet on the carbon. If it works, the tank bag should also. Most of those will hold at a buck fifty. edit: Or try a tank bag, lots of people got magnetic tank bags you could borrow. Some shops would even let you try it out. Also... my phone or TomTom will use up battery fast when navigating. I have to plug it into a cigarette lighter adapter on the handlebars.

Same here, I put on shorter after market mirrors, and I look at my elbows a bit. To see directly behind, I have to pull the elbow in a bit. Which I've gotten used to doing when I look in the mirror.

Those are for airguns and airsoft toys. Yes, it looks like the front/rear magpul set in black is out of stock again.

Yes, the primers are back in stock, but sell quickly. I've seen them at Vance's and Cabelas, but both might be sold out again. I've seen Winchester by mail order, Federal at Vance's, and CCI in little shops in the country side. LPP Your best bet is probably the FFF at Ashland, to find stuff in stock. They have a lot of loading powder choices. But you might have to hunt an equivalent powder substitute. http://www.ramshot.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/burn_rates.pdf I can spare some Winchester large pistol primers. That's the ones that are both regular and magnum performance. Somewhere in between. Works for both. edit: It can be a nice ride up to the FFF through Amish and Mohican country.

^^ 7 cylinder radial engine. Both 7 cylinder and 9 cylinder were popular for overall size. The Wasp engine was everywhere with 9 cylinders, and double that with two banks of 18 total. F4U Corsair and F4 Hellcat both used the Double Wasp 18 cylinder engine. Single banks were 5, 7, 9, etc. It has to be an odd number in each cylinder bank to work.

Clear and nice, riding over. Dyno ready. Make some noise.

Haven't left yet. But it looks like there was less threat of rain on the West side. And it's all moved North also. I'll go in a little bit. I don't see anything bad on the radar unless arriving from the North. Forecast still says chance (30-40%) of T-storm around 4pm.
-
For all that clutter on the radar, it never actually rained at all on the East side of Columbus. It moved off to the North. No problem unless it turns around and comes back. No bets for the afternoon. As it gets warmer, it could all change.

yup. BMW and Guzzi will rock when shifting. Actually have to be careful shifting in corners. But only if being aggressive.

bump breakfast? Any one else actually get up that early?

Please note there is no "high side" on this bike. It are round. It will roll many times. Worse, if high sided in the direction of engine rotation, it might never stop...

150hp @ 3600rpm isn't bad 8.5 compression ratio uses 7.1 gallons of 100LL per hour

I had an old Cabela's back order show up today. 250 223. I'm not ordering from Cabela's much from here on, they back order stuff too often. On the lighter side, I saw CCI mini mags today at Cabela's, but sadly one box each person. For fun, I ran through the checkout to see what the shipping would be. It said minimum quantity to back order is two. But but.... I can only buy one... dorks edit: with Cabela's backorders, I just cancel when the email shows up asking about it.
