The gas block pictanny uses a slightly taller front sight. A different type. Since it's lower than the sights on the flat top or handguard. Most are probably metal, although polycarbonate takes a bunch of heat. I don't remember magpul making these, so yeah, most are probably metal. I think the last car battery I bought was reversed terminals. I took it right back. Worse, they were going to try and say I tried to hook it up anyway and "broke it". Nope, one look and it went back. That cable stretching stuff never works out.

Tried that type stuff once. (Well, one last time.) A bad uphill bounce in a rut threw me up on a soft berm looking to fall something like a hundred feet or more into jungle. Managed to fall the other way, away from that. Turned around and went back to the highway. Also cracked a diaphragm in one of the CV carbs at the same time. I didn't have much choice. Wasn't the best idea with 400 pound CL350.

I stopped on 555 when riding solo, when I saw what looked like a mini tornado on a sunny but windy day. Also stopped because it was what looked like a lumber yard or hardware with stacks of 4x8 sheets of plywood stacked around the parking lot. Yup, several sheets of that crap blew across the road. I would have been in it.

I've seen problems when jumping from a running vehicle. Not often, and usually a very dead battery being jumped. Let it set a while, till the dead one tries to start, then start the helper vehicle. Even then, some computers freak out. Computers are expensive. edit: this is cars only, never jump a bike from a running car. Geez... it cannot handle that, too big of a risk. I smoked a connector and popped the diode trio on a van once, because I had the ignition on when it was jumped from a running vehicle. It didn't like that. Worst jump was a guy that had his battery installed backwards, because the store sold him reversed terminals. The charge on the battery was reversed when driving. Yeah, lots of sparks. Just once, then I left. And he wondered why his new battery was going dead over and over. He would not believe me. Very clearly the new battery was chassis grounded to the positive terminal. Lesson learned, now I check how a new battery was installed before jumping it. edit: if the jumper cables get real hot, start smoking, or glow bright red.... you're doing it wrong...

Columbus State is huge on-line as well. There are tons of on-line universities now. It's hard to pick the ones that are legitimate and also worthy. Co-workers all get degrees in education from some on-line down in Florida that's well recognized. But I'd rather stick with a brick n mortar school that offers on-line classes. Most of Ohio schools transfer courses fairly easily. So take a look around Ohio and see what sort of degree can be had. Then look to see what classes can be taken cheaper somewhere else and transferred. Also, some classes or exams may have to be taken on a campus. So I'd think, don't make the degree program too far away from home. So Franklin, I'm not too familiar with what they are offering right now. But it seems to me the degree there in some fields, has good credibility.

I've been noticing some troop and equipment movements this last week. All going to the East. They are on the way to the Mediterranean & Egyptian Sinai desert. An agreement was made just prior tho the end of Israeli-Gaza conflict. Americans will take over the hunt for arms smugglers in the Sinai, along the Suez canal and Gaza border. A previous agreement was to build a Suez canal fence and patrol it. But this is more direct. This is actually action against Iranian routes of equipment moving into Gaza. Or in other words, America's first direct action against Iranian interests.

They did say they wanted a flow of air past the bottle for at least an hour. It will vary with temperature also. Very hot air can hold a large amount of water. They are basing their thoughts on a bug from the hot desert. I would guess that it would be quite a bit slower in cold weather. If you've ever used a dehumidifier, the amount of water collected can be quite a bit. I would rather collect it and use it for the houseplants.
