  1. For a quick flip and what the owner says he's done to it (tires, fluids, chain, etc) this should totally be a turn key purchase.. buy it, ride it, put gas in it, sell it. Buy it and maybe next spring I'll buy it off you.
  2. I have a stock can for that yzf.. Not sure if the stock pipe will bolt up to the header pipes but I don't imagine it's all that different. Let me know if you want me to take a look at it with you.
  3. ok.. That may have been a little low... Even Mags would have made sure that head unit was blended with the tank.
  4. hey come on, don't knock it.. This is Magley's new bike.. Bumpin the buggy and blackbird just wasn't enough..
  5. :plus1:though I might be a little bias

    F/S: ST Tires

EDIT 11/11/11: Just need to get rid of them.. all tires FREE.. will be gone one way or another by Tuesday 11/15. I have some Metzeler Z6 Roadtecs (NOT INTERACT MODEL) I'm looking to get rid of. I normally keep the last set of tires for spares if I get a flat. Unfortunately, a little hoarding later I've got a pile of tires. Front is 120/60/17 Rear 160/60/17 3 fronts and 1 rear (maybe 2 rears if someone wants a freebie) Ideally I'd like to sell the 1 front/rear as a pair as they are in decent shape with only about 6k miles.. but at this point they're going in the trash if I don't get rid of them. In all cases the tires are fairly squared down the center as these tires were used while I would commute all straight boring flat slab. Also I have a set of Pirelli Angel ST (same sizes) with about 4500 miles on them.. Also squared down the center a little but if anyone is in need I'd be willing to part with them.. Pickup preferred or meetup or delivery negotiable. about 10k miles.. still good clean scrub if you need a tire in a bind.. FREE about 8k miles.. squared in the middle but good wear on the edges no cupping..FREE set has about 8k miles.. Wanted fresh rubber for Deals Gap trip.. maybe 30% tread left.. FREE
  7. Easier to just light a match to the whole estate and collect on the insurance. Bonus, but wife optional..
  8. always a fan of the "grassy knoll" method..lol Ok so on a serious note. I know OR in general is a 2nd amendment happy group.. Which is cool.. Sometimes I wonder though how many people actually take their CC seriously and have formal Tactical training.. Carrying, knowing how to use it, and situational management are all completely different things. Anyone can carry, but how many really have the balls to draw and can manage the situation to avoid drawing. Sorry for the hijack.. I just couldn't help it.. Just scares me to know how freely some people (not just OR people) are about carrying.
  9. I'm certainly not worried about slow... last year we had to contend with a little mud and shit on the roads.. one of the farmers came out of the field with his patty wagon.. made for a nice head shaker but no real drama.
  10. The Festival is very cool but absolutely insane to attempt a group ride.. The roads are narrow to begin with but to have to navigate a group when cars and bikes pretty much park wherever.. I won't do it. I have always tried to go the week before the festival as thats when the bridges often are at their best. The first year we found DeBonne Winery hosting a Bicycle Covered Bridge tour. No issues just that they had one of the bridges blocked off as that was their lunch stop or something.. Last year the weather and schedules of others didn't permit it.. going the week after worked out nice because the leaves were pretty much in full color and we didn't really have ANY traffic to contend with. Just one small detour for bridge construction.
  11. yes.. there's lots of stops.. we have done 10-13 bridges.. 4 or 5 of them are all with in a couple miles of each other. Plus the food stop. As a matter of fact those hardcore and marathon rider types would eat their young rather than ride this ride..
  12. The original rides were limited to ashtabula county bridges as they have the most bridges of any county.. The longest spanning and 4th longest spanning, and now also the shortest spanning bridges in the country. Was just a way to get Ashtabula County some notice.. Was something different as no one seems to ride the true NE tip of ohio. If there is interest I'm not opposed to changing things up some. Finding other attractions, wineries, etc. If we want to change it up to a Fall Foliage tour thru CVNP could be cool, could even be a whole different ride.
  13. No worries.. I plot the route and we skip the dirt roads or best weather scenario minimize the dirt and gravel.. you can get to all but maybe 2 or 3 bridges without leaving pavement.
  14. I'm open to suggestions but I'd like to keep the general format of the ride the same as last year.. it went way more smoothly than I had ever imagined. So here is the start.. I will update details over the next few weeks.. comments/suggestions welcome.. PM me your availability. DETAILS: Who: Anyone.. all types of bikes (very 2up friendly!!!) What: Tour of Ashtabula County Covered Bridges Where: Astabula County When: Saturday, Oct. 15th Why: See historical landmarks and a little autumn color Time: Kickstands up at 10:30am end maybe ~ 5pm What this is: relaxed pace, meet and greet with plenty of stops for pictures and such. What this isn't: a Race or good area for killing chicken strips. These just aren't those kind of roads. Rural, scenic, straight. Meeting spot: Sheetz @ 10:00am. 2411 North Ridge Road East Ashtabula OH 44004 Coming from I-90 take the Ashtabula Rt 11 exit (exit 228) North. Proceed up Rt 11 for about 3.5 miles to the Ashtabula US20 exit.. Turn left onto US20 Sheets will be on your right Route: TBD figure the tour route to be around 100 or so miles.. Also taking suggestions to open it up to other sites of interest instead of just being a bridge to bridge tour. Oct 1st is the week before the festival, there is no way in hell i'd do it during the festival.. Mid october is about as late as you can do it.. Leaves are in full color by then, beyond that the weather tends to be too harsh for a comfortable ride for most. Let me know what you think. Always thought this would make a cool charity event type of ride. (dice run, poker run, etc.)
  15. I'm game for an impromptu mill creek park ride tomorrow, friday, or saturday.. after some recent events not too sure how many recreational rides I'm going to be able to attend anyway.
  16. doc speedy and myself with the better half on the back
  17. screw it... im in.. my bike needs washed anyway.. lets do this
  18. radar is looking a little better. im still a game time decision though.
  19. I'll be a game time decision.. May also be 2up..
  20. I call bullshit!!!! I think I think Josh has the bike in his garage and Mike took the gixxer home. and they dumped the bodies in one of the mall dumpsters. good call though.. and now you know what to look for in future bike hunting.
  21. you mean that flyby past all of us right before we turned onto 44?
  22. kinzua rides are the shiznit.. kinzua then head south to clearfield and hit up some denny's beer barrel! as for 2up riding.. I'm thinking about taking a 2up toward that atwood loop.. but i'm not going out till sunday afternoon..
  23. of the vehicles I've registered in and out of Ohio.. Anything like an odometer descrepency, salvage/rebuild is usually marked in all caps with an asterisk. Since Ohio doesn't have state inspections though it's pretty easy to skirt around it and keep the title showing clean. +1 on the VIN check. Good to know it's history.. 9500 miles isn't bad.. but is that 9500 miles one lap at a time or is that rode it alot at first and then has been sitting in his garage for the last 5 years. Has it been maintained? service records? All good to know kind of things. Damn it, this is making me want a Sprint ST again..
