Don't bother with the filtered valve cores and always remember to position the valve stem between 6 & 9 o'clock and give a quick shot of air before checking tire pressure or you could end up with a bead stuck in the valve core.
used them for about 25k in my zx14 and about 10k on my vision so far and work great for me tires wear even, no cupping, and no vibrations not even at 150+
Both are pretty evenly matched. I had a '07 zx14 my buddy had a '08 busa I'm 5'10" he's 6'4" he said my zx14 was a lot more comfortable than his busa. Busa handles just a tad better according to magazines but the zx14 has better brakes. I went with zx14 because I didn't want to see 500 bikes just like mine every where I went. I did several 900 mile days on my zx14 with the stock seat off of a connie 14 which is more comfortable for both rider and passenger only requires swapping brackets on bottom of seat.
He is a rare one not many people would be able to have such a good attitude and bright outlook on life after such a life altering accident. He would make a great motivational speaker.
Was just wondering how he was doing hadn't seen anything posted from him in long I know he had huge goals and I'm sure therapy is a big part of his life. If anyone happens to see him tell him to make an appearance and let us know how he is doing.
I saw an episode of cops where they deployed spike strip to stop a motorcycle. Wasn't there was one not long ago where a guy was 150+mph and they used spikes in new york or something ??
I have cooper discoverer cts I got this past fall on my explorer they are great tires a little more expensive because they are 70k tires but great traction and ride and very quiet. I'd recommend if you can find in your size.
