I totally understand everything you said, and I never did either. Like just this week I got a sudden urge for a nice 1911, and thinking that Ruger will be it. I am thinking I will wait for Black Friday to see if KY Gun Co has any good sales, I think they did last year. Not that 650 isn't a great price, but never know.

Good idea on getting with Dale to see if he has anything left he didn't sell off when he closed the shop. I have another local FFL I Just found out about 15 bucks, so that helps too. With your description if I found one on Gunbroker, I can win the gun before doing the FFL paperwork and then get it shipped etc or is it best to get the FFL done first? And Cabelas is still high, but not as bad as a month ago. Was just there yesterday and today both, and actually their prices have dropped about $50.00 down here, I think they realized they were just price matching all day long and decided to lower them in general. Granted not like Vance's low, but about same if not same as Gander, both of whom price match Vances. Oh and I haven't had any issues with Woodbury myself(never used them) but I got a flyer from them, and holy shiat, ammo is cheaper than online, guns are about as cheap as anywhere, but in the end Fin and Vances still have the cheapest guns. That is one I was looking at. Shotty, AR, 3 9mm, and 1 380 are all around the house, along with 2 antique guns so pretty much ready ion that sense. This is more because my wife and I both love the looks of 1911s and both have shot them and enjoy the gun as a whole. So I figure it gives me a reason to get one, then keep it all shiney and purdy, kinda like Jbots mouth before I make a mess in it. Thanks cuddles.

Thanks guys, I cant click on Jbots links at work becasue most likely at least 1 is asian child porn, good try. But I love Rugers and always have, just didn't realize they made 1911's to be honest. I haven't gone to Vances or Gander yet to look, just Cabelas, and they are heavy on the Kimber and Sigs only in 1911s, so not a ton to look at. When it comes down to it I would like a quality gun and it's another I plan to keep forever similar to VF1000, and that's one I looked at as well in Vance's flyer. Looking to get some feelings on 1911's, just a house gun and plinking, not carrying, but something to have in the house and use at the range only. I am not overly familiar with anything but Kimbers, but know there are a ton of other brands out there after doing some looking. Thing is prices are ALL OVER THE PLACE. I am seeing tons of Llama brand's for $350-$450, Sigs for $1,100, Kimbers for $900, (used online), but then it looks like the point of spending the $900+ might as well just buy new. What are people's feelings on 1911 brands, I know Sig and Kimber are 2 big ones, Colt and Springfield Armory are another 2, and I think I like the S.A. Range Master for $769 right now at Vances. Looking for good, bad, ugly info on these guns. I believe I want to get one after Christmas when people need money to pay bills, or aren't buying and hopefully prices drop a tad more. I do think I want stainless though, or at least want wood grips on something like the Range Master. Go.

Yea, I'd probably make sure you take the next offer, if there is one. And if they simply say, you can have $3,500 or go to court(assuming you do truly have insurance), I would take the money, sign off and be done. Sounds like they are giving you about 1/2 of the receipts you have for whatever you added totalling $4,600. No idea who adds that kind of stuff to a bike unless it was pretty much just a running motor and frame at the time you bought it, but either way, take the coin and forget about it. I mean I am thinking about the $4,600 in receipts you said you have, no idea how that's possible as a full SS engine built race bike would be about that much and this was a used Buell. Either way, it sucks, but that's life. When my F150 got ganked, I had paid for extra coverage on all the add ons I had on it, they have a set amount that the rider will cover and you still are lucky to get any of it back. Like Scruit said, I had over 2K in tires, not wheels/tires, just tires, I had just put on. A $500 cap, and a ton of other stuff, I saw $0.00 of that stuff because I paid cash for everything and had most of the stuff was considered needed for the truck. Oh and Nationwide didn't offer a buyback, I would have had to go to a dealer auction where it was going through the sale, with someone with a dealer license and all. I said F it, took way more than I owed on it, and bought a new truck. Still wasn't happy, and I no longer carry any extra rider except for full windshield coverage. Take the cash.

Thanks for that info too, I did decide to wait on the 2XS or whatever it was, and go with a normal 2 with the full size RCA cables as it's the same price after shipping from Amazon and I can get gift cards/fuel points Then getting a 3 for the main TV and will decide on the 3rd TV.

I mean the fact that he's apparently well known is also nice, but in the end, people like this regardless who they are or how much power they have should just be executed on the spot. Basement has a laptop on Wifi currently so good there, HOWEVER it's an AV input old school TV, so that sucks. But really the only tv watched down there is if I am doing cardio which I do at the gym now anyways. Should I wait and get the 2 since it has HDMI, and fullsize AV cables instead of the tiny AV cable? If the Wifi does end up sucking down there I can move it to the office TV next to the wireless router/modem. I am getting a 3 for the big TV in the living room I decided, now just need to figure if the 45 is worth it, or if 55 is worth the full Roku 2, not XS or XD, or whatever. Guess long/short is, do the tiny little AV outs like these both have work as well as a normal 3 plug AV? Because in the end most likely using that in the basement to the old TV.
