Jbot sometimes I read your shit, usually because Craig makes me go there right away, and I almost piss my pants. Sad thing is, then you go off on some other tangent that is full of intelligent shit and it makes me mad. Just make me laugh, who gives a shit about politics, guns, babies, you know, boring shit.

Kigg, any idea of locals with it? Willing to travel to Dublin, Deleware, etc for the prices I am seeing on the forum link. If not, planning to pickup the Ruger at Sportsmen Den next weekend, but mcuh more $$.

Joe, Innovative GRaphics too if that first one i texted you doesn't work out. Ask to speak with Justin Chance and tell him you're a friend of mine. I always offer the first option I text ya because that's my friends mom, but Innovative Graphics is owned and run by a friend of mine that races late models too. We help him out when needed as well.

BFE is where Craig lives, doesn't even get Verizon cell phone service. Heck one time for fun, he would text me to call him, I would call then it would drop, then he would call Verizon and tell them it dropped. Then Verizon would tell him hje was wrong, then he would do it all over again. This was days after a new tower that was supposed to give him 4G was installed less than like 2 miles from his house. I loved that weekend.

Yeah the price jumped 2 bux and I was like, well I will wait for black friday etc. and see what happens then. They are back on today at like 60 with 2 gaming controllers. I have no use for those so figure I will just wait at this point. Sorry to hear yours didnt work and I did read about the return shipping actually, totally lame.

Actually, you still have a class to take, 2 hours long. If you're interested get on Craigslist and search concealed carry, or CCW, etc. There is one by Dayton that is on a FB page I am a member of, and on there. I called them already and hope to take the early Dec. class. I think the class is 65 dollars, then you pay like $130 to FL and mail in the class cert, and their paperwork, then they mail it back to you. The Craigslist ad also shows all the benefits over the OH license and it makes sense big time if you travel to any of the states I mentioned, and I believe GA too, which is a sh*thole state, but I do occasionally travel through to FL.

Ight, so I grabbed the 39.99 2XS from Newegg the other day, set it up in 2 mins, and had Netflix streaming in another 5. Tried Hulu, decided I didn't feel the shows were worth the costs and it was only a 7 day trial so dumped it after like 5. Netflix has everything I could ever want to watch. I had no idea this much stuff was on there for 8.00 a month or whatever. I will be buying a few more of these and some antennas and cable is 100% gone. After the initial costs, and add the Netflix I will end up saving 40-50 a month with doubling my internet speed just beacuse I want to. In the end, glad I did, wish I had done it last year.

This happened to my BIL in Lancaster actually, right off 33 in the heart of town. Basically the cops told him unless they can PROVE the people were involved they can't do jack. Now, they were never picked up at a hotel like this guy, or caught selling, but their trash cans and trash were apparently full of the ingrediants to make meth ALL the time. BIL even called the police on the trash pickup morning to come look, said it still wasn't enough for a search warrent. Now he was told they would be added to a list and eventually there would be an investigation. We figured this meant they would have an informant or undercover buy and then bust them. I will ask tomorrow night if anything ever came of it. Like Bowdog said, I would call daily dude, with your daughter around and what not, no sense in taking any chances.

That makes sense, but no sense. So OH requires training and PA doesn,t so that means that they won't accept OH CHLs? LOL . Good info tho, hope that changes.

I am getting a FL license to cover me in CO and NH my main 2 travel areas, and keeping OH valid anyways. In the end, I don't get why PA isn't on board yet. And if this is what it takes to get that, then I am for it. I also like the idea that I can stand my ground, I never at any point feel it is my duty to retreat or seek refuge if my life, my wife, kid, family, or friend's life is endangered. Honestly, I do wish the world was more like the old west, well in lots of ways actually, but when you can sue McD's for hot coffee you know the US is F'd.

Nice, so they did pass it and for the 2nd renewal no class required now? I have 3 more years before needing my 2nd renewal, but Franklin county did mark mine as a "New" issue, even though it was a renewal as it was the first one I had in Franklin county. Not sure how that will work out when I go to renew again, but sounds like doesn't matter anymore. Unless the 3rd renewal requires a class? I plan on obtaining a FL license this winter/spring anyways so I can carry in CO and NH, but figure I still want my OH to be current and valid the whole time too.

Love my Pannisonic LCD, it's a refurb that I paid 1/2 price for 4 years ago and works like the day I bought it. I plan to upgrade next year when we put it in the office to an LED. My uncle has a 3D LED and it's just sick nasty. Like paper thin, light, and the pic is so much better than a plasma or LCD. Friends have plasma's and LCDS as well and no one really complains about either. I think any name brand will have one offs and the offbrands will have more issues, BUT when it's like 200 bucks for a 42inch who cares, buy 3 of them and when one breaks replace it, in the end you'll still save $

Tough one but agree with above, if you decide to loan it, basically write it off right away from the get go. Same thing goes for buying large items with say a friend, or even family member other than wife/parents. Chances are whoever fronts any money will never see the rest of it. Kid still owes me $350.00 from a camper we bought in 08ish. Only paid 3500 but once it was time for a buyout, never saw all the agreed upon funds, got about 1/2 of it and that was it. We still talk, I don't bring it up, and every once in a while he will tell me he still plans to pay me. He hit some tough spots losing his job multiple times, so I dont ask. But always has new clothes, shoes, beer, chew, etc.

Actually looks like Sportsmen Den have the Ruger on sale 2 weeks from now for Fri-Sun only, for even less than KY. Dads best friend works there and think I am going home that weekend to swap wheels/tires on my truck so probably just grab one then. Looks nasty, just need to find one to fondle.

Reviews say this is basically Rock Island 1911's under different name. So the plan was obviously to buy something super nice down the road, but after watching and reading reviews Im probably ordering one of these today to try out. I had no idea about them but Im reading nothing bad at all, and for plinking and getting into the 1911's might be a starter. Then ask for the Ruger for the holidays(can I say Christmas without people getting all hell bent?)

No, I won't buy from them ever again. I use their flyer to get price matched at Gander or Cabelas. I wont bore everyone again with details but my last experience there was so bad I vowed not to deal with them agian. I know of a police department or 2 from back home that used to deal with them exclusively, won't step foot in there now either. They go to Fin as it's way closer, but still said no one buys from Vance's anymore.

I have found reviews are like buttholes, everyone has one. Similar to yesterday I was reading a mag in Cabelas and the gun reviewers were RAVING over Taurus, I mean drooling over them. Talked to a guy behind the counter at Vances when I was looking at my LCP380 and he was like yeah, if you want to trust your life to something like a Taurus, just buy another Hi-Point or plan to send it back. Then another guy behind the counter said he sold tons of Taurus guns and had NEVER sent one back in however many years he worked there. If I was ready to buy today I'd snatch that Ruger up. Can someone outline the steps to acquire an out of state gun or one online? I know I need a LOCAL OH FFL, but do I go to them FIRST, or buy the gun FIRST? ETc? Thanks!
