  1. Uncle-inlaw had the same thing last year. It's a pretty huge change and definitely makes the individual a totally different person. Keith is now pretty quiet, kind of just sits around, and tries to stay low key as he can't really interact like he used to. He was about 55 I believe and the oldest of 4 kids, but probably in about the best overall health so it was a real shocker to everyone. He unfortunately did not make the 72 hour window and has been left with partial paralisys on his right side I believe, facial down to feet. He is however able to walk and uses a brace and 4 legged cane to do so. Has his arm in a sling everytime I see him as he cannot control it so it just dangles if not. Hope that they are able to get his control back and being that they got to him so early, sounds like he should have a pretty good prognosis. Best wishes.
  2. Unfortunately, I had to backout as the gun I bought used from a group member on FB is not functioning reliabile enough to replace this piece at the time. FWIW I did text and apologize to omaralaoui, don't want to seem like a d*ck who just backed out for no reason. FWIW Im pretty pissed about the situation and hoping I am able to fix the issue on my own. If not, probably going to have to put the group member on FB on blast. Don't worry though, he is NOT a member here. However he does sell guns at the gun counter at Vance's and is the same one that basically made me decide I wouldn't deal with Vance's again unless I truly have to. I will drive to Fin in Ashland, Cabelas, Gander, etc. before dealing with them again. FACT
  3. I meant people you don't know, like there will be open spots. A lot of theguys would even ride 1/2 day Sunday if they showed up Saturday night. We would take our time going down and just ride Mon and private rental Tuesday. I recommend that honestly, getting a private day if you can. You make leeps and bounds when you can just do whatever you want, ALL DAY. PS its also cheap.
  4. When Hobs says packed, the Sat/Sun will sell out around new years, possibly before. People will back out, but it's luck of the draw to get in after that.
  5. Nothing else I'd really want to sell right now lol. I'm hoping to get a few rounds through the new 9 I bought tonight or tomo/Sat so I can ensure it works, before selling anything else. But no other HGs anytime soon for sale.
  6. Different gun, that sold already This one isn't "technically" for sale, just tossing the idea around. I had a lot more guns then I realized I had, cuz they just sat around for the most part.
  7. Anytime after the first weekend of March is usually fine. The track has more grip than any other track in the US, at least I'd put it up against any. Bring a ton of spare rears, you'll need them if you are running halfway decent times. Temps are fine on the track, it's a good pave and warms up by first session. I think we normally went down mid march if I remember correctly, like the week before bike week. Awesome place, camping at the track, showers, food truck, some trackside vendor showed up randomly last year, and we all got his card. He was from NY so no idea wtf, but he was legit too.
  8. That was the answer I expected earlier, wonder if anyone will argue or just say since the consitution says that, we must follow it. Out of curiosity how much of the consititution is followed anymore anwyays? 10%? 50%? 90%? What's peoples feelings on that?
  9. Uh, shes a murderer, I think that would probably qualify as cutting off all health insurance paid for by the government. I see your point, mine is that she has commited a crime, why should we pay for them to live after that.
  10. Yeah saw this several months ago, stoked they have an opening date now though. I will be hitting that place up, can't wait.
  11. Exactly, because the justice system works so well. Instead tax dollars will pay for her in prison, but also for her medications, medical care, at her age she will have a ton of both and we'll be footing the bill. America is beyond F'd anymore. Sad really.
  12. http://shine.yahoo.com/pets/rescued-pit-bull-saves-4-year-old-s-life-192515463.html Feel good story for Thursday.
  13. I recommend JenningsGP, Sunday-Monday style if possible. We always went down for Mon-Tues(Private rental tuesday), and if you can swing it get a group and rent the track, WELL WORTH IT and CHEAP. But bang for the buck is JenningsGP hands down.
  14. If there is any sort of trial, holding time, anything wasting tax dollars on this, then the justice system is again showing exactly how it is failing. http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/07/us/illinois-child-killing/index.html?hpt=us_c2
  15. Roger that, like I said, that's just the price I was going to list it at, willing to work with you if that matters.
  16. I may have one youre interested in. PM coming
  17. Wait, shady cops in NYC, no way. Say it ain't so.
  18. There's handgun and rifle ammo out the Ahole at Dicks on Polaris, 38spl, 9mm, 40, 45, mainly target, but also at least a few boxes of each self defense loads too. Bulk 223 even, which I found weird, 70 for however many come in the yellow/blue boxes. But tons of 380 and 38 which I know are the 2 hard ones to get right now. Prices were average and cheaper than online as they are all Remmy Brass.
  19. Sale pending on Ruger tonight, and second person in line if that falls through.
  20. Yeah kinda my thinking, reporting to OR will get you some props but don't think it will make it to the FAA or whoever.
  21. Roger that, LEPD was pretty legit, and actually I was in a seperate part all alone. Their "Tactical" shooting area is sick, it's also their qualifying area. It was 13.00 for 1/2 hour so not the cheapest and obviously not free like PP is, but for where it is, it's really nice. Their ammo selection was unreal, like people must not go there for ammo, oh probably because it was 25% more than anywhere else, BUT they have everything so what can ya do? Tons of 22, 38, 380, indoor and outdoor casings, etc. But like I said it was at least 25% higher and most were more like 50% higher than anywhere else. Think 21.99 for 50 9mm, 24.99 for 50 380, 24.99 for 50 38 special, all target loads. Gun prices were okay, not as bad as their ammo, but not nearly what any sale anywhere would be. But they had a lot of guns you won't find elsewhere, so that also helps. Its 200ish for a membership, and knowing I can shoot there easily for 30-40 mins on my lunch might make that worth it. 16 times and it's paid for, BUT you only shoot FREE Tuesdays, the rest are discounted I think 50%, but if I have to pay, I won't use it. I'd only shoot Tuesdays. Definitely found out I need way more time on the range, and need to do some drills, but as a whole, everything shot the remmington and AE ammo just fine. Good trip. Oh and the workers there took nice to a new level, probably the nicest people in a gun store/range I've ever met, except Dale ouf course. Never met Todd at the shop, just a few rides I think.
