  1. I've never been either. One of these days I'll get there.
  2. Oh I rode a TW200. Still want to get one one day.
  3. When I went to Basic Msf it was mandatory to use their bike. I asked and they said no. Advanced MSF you use your bike.
  4. Have a look at this and see if it helps you find some answers. http://www.amadirectlink.com/roadride/Riderresc/tires.asp I'm off to work.
  5. I would assume you bought a tire with a old manufacture date. What brand and where did you get it from?
  6. All I know on the matter is Neohiofan got a fix it ticket from Kirtland because his was mounted like this or something to the effect. Personally I wouldn't do it. I could give 2 shits what anyone else does with their bike. If you like it that's all that matters.
  7. Guam and Haiti... Huh what about them?
  8. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. I'll just keep
  9. This is the Freedom Bell I know about- http://www.libertybellmuseum.com/exhibits/replicas/dcfreedombell.htm I know some Harley riders who have gremlin bells http://www.gremlinbells.com/. They say they protect them from road gremlins.
  10. I would agree but Napoleon's and the Rizoma's are damn fine in their own right.
  11. I think it has more to do with the buildings pavement than anything else. Might take some pictures at the locations I missed last year since people traffic shouldn't be an issue.
  12. It always seems a little warmer downtown and I haven't been out for a ride in almost 2 weeks. I'll be riding from the east down through the hood into downtown in about a hour or less.
  13. I wouldn't know anywhere n Cbus. But I've heard of many people using bicycle bar end mirrors with a little modification. They say most any true bike store should have them. Persoanlly I would order CRG (what I have)- http://www.solomotoparts.com/catalog/CRG-Hindsight-3-LS-Bar-End-Folding-Mirror-p-17849.html You might be able to find them cheaper this is just a bookmarked link. The Rizoma's are very nice also- http://www.motostrano.com/mirrors1.html There is some bike that has these same mirrors can't recall what bike. Reason I say this is because I've heard they're cheaper. Good luck finding what you need and post up some pics one you have it all figured out.
  14. So I'm sitting here trying to catch up with all the happenings and thinking I'm going to be up for the next 12 or so hours. Anybody awake and want to meet up? It's a little chilly so I might just head downtown and ride around the city.
  15. I'll do my best to get there. I'm usually sleeping at that time but I feel I should do something to educate myself more than what I've read on the web. Especially since I feel when I'm leading a ride I'm responsible for the group as a whole. Also looking into taking a advanced CPR class just in case I need the knowledge one day. I just like to have all my bases covered. It's all part of my OCD
  16. Thanks for the heads up. Seems like something I should do since I tend to be the ride leader around these parts. Sending email for more info.
  17. I wouldn't say that. I am a man yes, the man not so much. I should have work off tomorrow but might run out to Toledo with a friend to look at a bike. I say should because I should be at work right now (my wife took our daughter to the ER since here brother thought it was a good idea to hit her with a broom stick on the arm) they might call me in. I won't know till last minute
  18. I do many local and long rides shoot me a Pm if you want to get together. Mostly on weekends since I work 3rd. shift now. Sounds like you type of riding is the same as mine. See you on the road.
  19. If you need a hand here locally let me know and I'll stop by and help where I can.
  20. They say they have one on the link. Anything like this I prefer to call and make sure. If they are different they will have a different part #. So just ask if the #'s are different. My chin fairing has been great. Ordered that through NE from Portugal (Puig) and the hugger would be a good match on my bike. I guess it all depends on what you want there's many other huggers out there. The Ebay (Pit-Eck) one I have had for the last 3 years (20k+ miles) and has been good. Held up fine, still holding up. The color match I got was for an 05 so I had to repaint it and the seller refunded me $20-$30, can't remember. Shouldn't be an issue with silver I would think. The one Ebay 03 hugger I did have my hands on was specific 03 1k and the silver matched just fine and mounted without any issue. They do help things stay cleaner. But also take some abuse. I ride some rough roads sometimes and it has some stress cracks and rock chips. I expect it though.
  21. How about Stihl HS45 hedge trimmers?
