that was clearly a big portion of it. i was too busy being a back marker at nelson this past weekend and had too much crap going on at the shop during the week. i'll try to make it next year. it's been 2 years since i've gone down there now, so that needs to change.

was it a silver 1000rr with a rack on the tail? if so, i know who that is. but wait a minute, i remember an orange and black gsxr1000 with some nice akro cans doing the exact same thing. he was such a squid. lololololol jk, that applies to everyone because pace is relative. as for nelson getting a reputation, it just seems like a couple unfortunate race incidents that just happened to occur at the track. i don't think nelson had anything to do with someone stalling their bike or people not seeing red flags or hands up.

it's weird cause the guys out front all saw the red flag and had their hands up. some chopped throttle, and sadly, brian had to check up for one of those guy cause he also saw the red flag and didn't want to swerving around the guy in front of him in case someone behind him didn't see what was going on. unfortunately, those guys didn't see the red flag, and they didn't see everyone with their hands up. brian got caught in the middle in a bad way.

just a thought: earlier this morning, there is a guy I know that works at a shop near to mine and as he was pulling into the shop, some kid on an unidentified sportbike (not sure what kind... i think i heard it was blue) apparently was pinning it down our road and tried to pass the guy while he was turning left. this sort of thing happens rather frequently when it's nice out, though it's normally cruisers with straight pipes and people with "sporty" cars. The rider hit the car as it was turning into the lot, and he and the bike went tumbling head over heels. he got life flighted somewhere. i hope he's ok. he didn't have a helmet on, from what i heard.
