  1. you're doing LeMons?! What are you going to be driving? i've been thinking getting into it with a couple friends.
  2. thank your lucky stars for the missed "opportunity" and find yourself an 04' WRX wagon instead. and get stick shift, or we'll curb stomp your nuts. although, now that i think about it, there is a forester that is like a "sport" model that has the wrx engine. hard to find those though, from what i remember. lol, so we're already on the same page.
  3. a PSA as well as a suggestion for a future movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Vf3VzVbrXU
  4. college was fun. real life is less fun, but more rewarding.
  5. if failblog wanted to make a movie, this would be a good start.
  6. do you live there? i used to go to columbus alot, and i even stored by f4i there back when i still had it cause that was where my sister lived while she was going to pharmacy school (I made her pay for the garage lol). i saw quite a few bikes around that area, and never got to know anyone since i was only there on weekends.
  7. well, i've already been to montreal (my gf has not), and i had a good time. that said, carmel/monterey in cali was about a billion times better (it was also a different kind of vacation admittedly), but i'll try harder to have more fun this time around. thanks for the hint about the gravy cheese fries.
  8. if i was jesus, and this thread was lazarus, i would've left this bitch for dead. too bad i'm not jesus.
  9. i'm going to montreal in a couple weeks. it was that or SF, and my gf had never been to montreal, so to wannabe france i go
  10. i know a great guy in ravenna who works on my aprilia and ducati (but he's also done great things with my track 600rr too) he's a sponsor here, www.ducrx.com. his logo should appear on the right side. his name on here is isaac's papa, commonly referred to as "IP" i wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
  11. i'm running low on my stock of oil and filters, so you'll probably hear from me soon. are you able to get supplies from the columbus distribution center so you (and I) don't get hit for shipping? not sure if dealers get charged freight, but the only way to avoid it as a preferred member is to get it shipped to the distribution center and pick it up.
  12. ya, i'll probably end up doing those days. originally, i was thinking of going to autobahn for the 3 day weekend, but i doubt i'll have a ride there. if i'm nice to craig, maybe he'll let me go to grattan with him that weekend too. if not, it'll be my excuse to spend too much money on a trailer.
  13. the enclave off of bethel was a nice place, and if you're willing to go further north in lewis center, "lakes of olentangy" was a nice place too (by lazelle and 23N)
  14. So, who's all going to Michigan for this coming weekend at Grattan on august 1~2? Blue03636 (and a bunch of other STT instructors) will be there as well as myself and walther_gsp. you can find me being the slow guy on the super yerrow 600rr in intermediate (as well as walther, but he'll be going at normal pace), and blue in the fabled yellow jersey. also, why is the tags thing auto suggesting "taint rub"?
  15. how about varying quantities of rolled up rugs? i'll even put them in large garbage bags before dropping it off. that is a good idea though. back when i was living in apartments, that would've been a very nice option.
  16. i asked amsoil that same question, and they said 2-3 years no problem. just keep it in a dark, dry, cool area.
  17. you could also go to amsoil's website, and add the preferred membership in your cart, and then view the pricing. at least that worked the last time i ordered stuff from there.
  18. lol, buy that f4i he passed up on. jk, but seriously.

    Places to eat

go back to wholly joes and have the deep dish pizza. fucking awesome. not as good as "real" deep dish chicago pizza, but damn good. if you like pho, go to indochine in whitehall. some good shit. don't forget to get the spring rolls (if they ask which, ask for the ones with the translucent roll) if you just want a burger but dont want to wait for fucking ever at thurmans AND better fries, just go to five guys. thurman's is well worth the wait, but if you've had it a few times and just want a quality burger without a 2 hour wait... well, there are few options. if you like gyro's, go to yanni's grill near cleveland ave and 270. get the jumbo gyro, and pray. i'm sure i can think of more, but those are some of my faves in columbus.
  20. but my ape only cost me 1200. lololololololololol
  21. i will talk to my gf to see if she's interested. we've been entertaining the idea of a dog. any idea how big the puppies will grow to? we're trying to keep it small so they don't feel cramped in my house.
  22. i'm pretty sure "Taken" has the highest judo chop per minute rate of any movie out there. otherwise, it was pretty entertaining.
  23. you know you love my kung fu grip. if you're referring to my ape, ya, it needs an uncracked oil tank. lol. hopefully, that will be all that's standing in my way to replacing my 600rr with the ape for track duty. but the 600rr has been super fun to ride around so far, so i'm not in a big rush. UP, if you want another opinion, I'd say if your route goes right by it (and it seems like you'll be near that area anyway) it doesn't hurt to ride it. I mean, it's a bit bumpy in the corners, but it is still fun. I'd say go for it since you'll be close. it isn't too much of a detour, i dont think. i wouldn't recommend people to ride a 100 miles just to hit 536 and head back home (i think some have done that), but if it's on the way... why not.
