I PMed him in an attempt to keep this from turning into a flame war that was unnecessary. His bike had issues and he thought they were fixed, done with his situation. In the future we can't let something like that affect the whole group to the extent that we did and that wasn't his fault it was mine. In the future if we have issues, as long as you're safe and can contact other help or can get yourself home you will be left where you have your issue. This doesn't change the schedule for the rest of the group and no grown man should need thirty babysitters. This is not the same as leaving someone behind who has crashed or is riding too slow. I would like to thank the Coshocton crew again especially since I'm somewhat talking like this was my ride. I really enjoy riding in that area and have been bugging Adam to do another ride. When he agreed to another ride he is the one who got the other guys from down there to help him, I didn't talk to them about the ride to organize it, they did it themselves. I could have never gotten that many people around an area I don't know. I think they did a fine job considering the number of bikes and they all sacrificed their rides to lead and follow groups because all of them can ride in the front of the fast group. Udell and I were honorary Conshoctonites for the day but Udell got the brunt of the work between the two of us.

I know he has a cute ass and all that's why he is so hard to follow but I like my guys smaller than me, eaglecock is too big but that 1000rrrider is a good size.

I took a nap after getting home and drank as much as I could, slept through the night and took a nap today. I don't know how you guys do it in these temperatures wearing full leathers. I was wearing textile mesh jacket and pants while sweating my ass off. I have been PMing with imprez55 about this and he has been replying in a reasonable responsible manner so I hope this doesn't get blown up more than it should. It did suck having problems on a big group ride and with the organizational issues combined with the heat it made for a frustrating day. We will learn from these issues and hopefully the next ride will go smoother.

This ruling will have a greater impact on future challenges that the Heller case because it holds the constitution above local and state laws. This is a win for the good guys but will not affect a large percentage of people yet. Reasonable restrictions will be put to the test plenty of times before a person with cause can get it to the Supreme Court for any clarification if the court will hear it at all. The 5-4 decision is disappointing but you will find half of our country will side with the opposing judges, this is why elections matter. Some good reading here http://www.scotusblog.com/

I was riding in the back of the third group so I had time to watch what people were doing in front of me. I will help anyone if I see something I think will make a difference or if they ask for some assistance. I had her follow me after I explained what inputs she should be using so I could exaggerate them for her. She told me they helped her but I didn't get a chance to follow at the back of the group again to see any improvement because they lost us. I talked to several people about riding help and never thought about telling anyone fuck you, that could happen but you would have to big a total asshole for that to happen. I did get the chance to ride a little harder after the McDonalds break. I didn't feel so much like riding all that hard after the break so I started out mid pack, around people I know that led to a little fun and I started to step up my pace so I ended passing up some folks I didn't know, I hope the baby didn't piss anyone off flipping them the bird.

I don't care about you being disappointed you didn't get to give him a reach around, does your phone work?

Man I can't make anyone happy, Udell wouldn't talk to me after we put our helmets on for the ride down to Coshocton all I got from him was the bird every time I looked at him. You saying "Fuck you" to me at the gas station. Can't we all just get along? If it's any consolation you were the hardest guy to set up for a pass because of the special circumstances involved. Udell, you seemed to be just as comfortable on the 10 as you were last year on the Buell. Edit to add. Nice bike night burnout as your parting statement when leaving you is so cool and will really impress the Harley crowd at the next poser ride.

I think the weather scared him off, he cleaned his bike up and he thought the rain would hurt his face because he doesn't like to wear a helmet or he couldn't wear a helmet because it was too hot or there are too many fast guys up north now and he can't pick on them or he had to work or .............. You get the picture; I haven't heard yet what his excuse will be. I hope you aren't upset about getting passed I just couldn't look at that hair streaming out of the back of your helmet without checking out your ass and the conflict was taking away all my concentration I just had to get in front of you to save myself from suffering a tragic target fixation accident.

I am going to guess that Ross's left clip on hit it. Luckily he had his bars locked so both bikes had minimal damage. I need a new tank cover and that is all. He needs a new clip on and some refinishing/paintwork to his upper fairing. His phone took a dive into the water and I don't know yet if it works, it did set off the water sensor.

I couldn't agree more about the numbers exchange I only had Adam's and your number and all three of us were in different groups the locals all had each other’s numbers, like I stated earlier the same mistakes won't happen again we will have to invent new ways to cause fail. Once we were out of town I think we could keep everyone on the same route but it wouldn't be necessary. We should invite ourselves down and have Parks show us around sometime with an offer he can't refuse if he won't help us out. I am kind of torn between no riders left behind which means the whole group is waiting or you're safe see ya later. I build in time for us to get to the 10:00 meeting time and we still got there late because of a bike issue. This held up the whole group waiting for us in Coshocton. I could have stayed and let everyone else go on but I knew where we were going. It wouldn't be fair to assign someone else to stay with them because it would have been the end of their day and after getting to a meeting spot by 8:00 and clearing their schedule how disappointing would that have been? Kevin stayed with him out of knowing how we ride because we didn’t have a sweep rider assigned to our group because I thought I could handle eleven bikes on the simple route. Some of the clusterfuck issues came about from our commitment to keep everyone together. I did leave the guy to wait for his bike to cool down after giving him directions on how to get home but even that stop got us separated. I failed to mention in any of the posts about showing up with a bike in what you believe to be sound working condition and I won’t make that mistake again. I am not trying to embarrass the guy that had the issues but I expected trouble from the bike when I saw it at the meeting spot. He was there on time and seemed eager to ride so I let it slide at the expense of the rest of the folks involved. This is another issue I hope to keep from happening again. I would have let him ride with us but made it clear if you don’t live up to your end of the bargain by showing up with a sound bike you don’t get the benefit of the groups safety in numbers. On a positive note I don’t think we had any riding issues of anyone riding over their heads or riding too slow, at least none that made their way back to me. This could be why there were no wrecks except for my parking fail.

He was invited but he was made to ride in the back.

She seemed to take it in stride but she has ridden off-road vehicles in the past and knew that shift pattern, I thought it would help her out not to have to think about one more thing while riding. I could watch her thinking about what she was doing following her.

We had three groups all with ten to twelve riders each one with a leader and a sweep rider. There was a slight lack of communication with the group leaders so all three groups rode a different loop, this spread us out all over the place. We stopped several times trying to communicate with the other groups. Two of the groups had bike problems that either stopped the group or got them separated. I was riding sweep in the slow group when we had a bike overheat so three of us stop, the guy knew he could make it home but was going to let it cool off before heading home. The two of us left couldn't find the group at the next stop and I couldn't chase them down or I would have left the bike alone in the middle of nowhere. This left us stopping trying to communicate with the other groups so they could talk us into where they were since I don’t know the area very well. There were less locals helping out than in past rides and we had more bikes than ever show up. The mistakes that happened this time won't happen the next time even if I have to go down there and ride around with the local guys to learn the roads so I can help out with leading a group sometime, I'm willing to sacrifice for you guys like that.

You should flip her shifter for her so it has a standard shift pattern. I don't know how anyone listens to music while riding especially that rap shit. You missed the popsicles.
-
I think we proved no katanas = no wrecks. Udell how did your riding partner do riding home? I had her follow me a bit but never got the chance to follow her again to see if she improved.
-
What a cluster fuck of a good time. I am home, will post more later but I would like to thank the Coshocton guys for sacrificing their rides by leading and running sweep. Udell was also recruited to help also I put him at sweep on one of the groups and it turned into some work. I owe you a ride brother. You guys who left after the McDonalds break missed a good ride, we got a little more organized. The next Coshocton ride down will go smoother. Sorry for the bike damage Ross let me know what I can do to make you whole.

Wake up Nancys, see you soon.

I need your girlfriends number so I can be her friend.

Expect to hear from me in the morning

I have spoken to Adam twice about this and we are expecting to be ready to ride at 10:00 Am. I am trying to get the 82 & 83 group there at 9:45 gased up and ready to go at 10:00.

I fail at posting the weather. Accuweather has rain at 10:00 and cloudy the rest of the day.

http://www.ohio-riders.com/showpost....84&postcount=1 I don't remember seeing this posted in this thread so I'm posting it now. Mostly to eliminate getting calls from people when we are ready to start riding saying you are running late. The ride starts at 10:00 am from the parking lot on Adams Street in Coshocton.

Hey Adam thanks for giving my tow vehicle a workout. That was the most work it's had to do in a long time. First post should have all the info needed. Here is a quick rundown. There is a group leaving 82 & 83 at 8:00 am. If you miss us we will be on 83 cruising about 70 MPH. We are going to be meeting another group that will be riding around the Coshocton area and that ride starts at 10:00 AM. Map of that meeting spot in first post. All are welcome but read first post, you are expected to cruise 70 MPH between curves and pass on double yellow. You can be slow as hell in the curves and we will probably have all skill levels. The last weather report I looked at showed rain in Coshocton at 10:00 and no rain the rest of the day. I will be leaving regardless of whether at 8:00 am.
