That is a big heavy bike with no front end adjustments. I would stay away from the swap because you need as much of a contact patch as you can get with the big old bird especially since you have no adjustments to correct the handling issues it will give you.

I don't mind confronting said tools so that the group doesn't have to be labeled a bunch of assholes, I can be the only asshole. Going a little slower and not wrecking is a much better time than waiting for a helicopter. Don't get me wrong shit can happen but riding over your head is easy for others to see and can be prevented.

Good point and if you don't want to confront a tool tell one of the ride leaders at a stop or gas stop. This is why you need more than one person with a group of people over ten who haven't all ridden together before. The leader needs to stay up front so the other guys can ride with the tool who says he will calm down and won't. I can picture what happened on the ride where the guy moved up. He thought you guys were holding him up because others were pulling away so he moved up. The problem with that is they weren't pulling away because they were going fast between curves they weren't slowing down for the curves like he needed to. Estimating corner entry speed is an important skill to have, anyone can go fast in a straight line and group rides aren't the place to do that. You are a good rider for any group so you have the integrity to confront someone and didn't that accident change the mood of the ride? If it could have been prevented it would have been worth the little drama it might have caused at the time to save the entire groups good time.

Nick, not telling you how to run your business but you should have a route posted or have at least two other people from your area that know the route also and are willing to ride in the middle of the pack and sweep. At twenty-five bikes the riding ability will vary by a wide margin so keeping them together will be difficult without help even if you plan on waiting for everyone at every stop. Recounting all the bikes is hard to do at every stop, if you have a sweep rider giving you the thumbs up at stops it helps with keeping things organized and moving along. It is difficult to lead more than ten bikes at a time, twenty-five will be damn near impossible without support. There are a lot of pack issues that need to be taken care of that you can’t see from the front. Saying “Don’t tailgate” is nice but people riding over their heads happens a lot on big group rides, touching the center line is a big indicator of riding over their heads and unless they are called out on such behavior by others in the pack you simple won’t know about it. One accident that can be prevented will make for a much happier experience for all.

You are not very funny, shut your bitch mouth.

This is not tempting, he is not selling it and if I have to I will go over to his house and kick it over so no one will buy it. Move along.

That's because blacks are taking over every sport, there are some good black hockey players and swimmers even and Cleveland has a crazy black serial killer. If we take over motorcycle riding all you white folks will have left is chess.

One bunch of bananas, a bucket of chicken and a watermelon. I can even throw in some spinners for your car I took of my last ride before the repo man took it.

Norwalk (Summit Motorsports Park) - Wednesday Night Racing 2010

That's cool as hell Justin. You have had quite the motorcycle week so far, ride to the river Sunday and drag racing Wednesday what’s next? I'm starting to doubt the existence of the Hayabusa. You don't ride it on the street claiming it's a drag bike and you don't ride it at the strip. -
I'm not sure if you know this or not but they like to be treated like that, it makes them happy. Blue smoke kills them but leaving dark lines on the road brings them joy. Maybe you should just pray for the tire eating bitch or give me a riding lesson on how you think I should be using them. I don't want you to go teaching me how to crash like you do all the groups you lead. That crashing shit gets expensive and I need money for tires.

Budell the grape ape with the spider under his helmet.

That's the same one I fill up at, I'm surprised we don't see each other there.

If you pump them up to 42 psi you can ride on them forever but won't get them to heat up enough to get any traction, which would be like riding on Shinkos. If you only have 30 psi in them they heat up get great traction but only last 2,000 miles. I think I'm starting to understand some of these motorcycle rules. One could choose to ride at 42 psi but you just can't ride with your buddies because the tires won't grip and will put you on your ass but you will save money on tires. Only running 30 psi means you throw money away on tires but don't end up on your ass. Seems simple enough, maybe I won't need that riding lesson on how to make my tires last longer, I get to choose how to ride and what tires fit how I ride.

Motherfucker, I just can't win. Explain to me why you get to make me not cool. Before you do this do I already have your girlfriends or mothers number?

I was wrong when I posted the $800 difference. I wasn't taking into consideration that a front will last through two rears, so that figure might be closer to $400. Still a savings for someone looking to commute or just cruise around to bike nights. I do very little riding except for weekend rides on curvy roads and try to stay off the highways getting to the curvy roads. I was getting about 1,800 to 2,100 for a rear tire with the 600, I don't even want to think about what this stupid 1K gets but I'm on my fourth rear and I am sure I'm getting less life out of them than I was with the 600. I have never done a burn out or try to abuse the tires in any way. If you can get more miles out of a tire you need to teach me how to ride because I must be doing something wrong. I asked a guy on here to pray for the tire eating bike but it hasn’t taken yet or the bad in the bike is just too strong for prayer.
-
You guys saying there is only a $30 difference are all kind of wrong. There is about an $800 difference in the tires being compared. The Michelin PP2CTs last about 2K miles at about $950 to get you to 10K. The Shinkos are about $150 a set that goes 10K miles. These tires are perfectly fine if you ride your sport bike like a cruiser or do a lot of commuting. If you try pushing them because your buddies are laughing at you they become very expensive because they will put you on your ass if pushed. Long lasting compound, stable profile and cheap, this has its place. Not on most sport bikes and certainly not mine but I like to try to ride mine as a sport bike is intended.
