My experience as well. I will not buy another one to ride a motorcycle. I would get another one to ride scooters with because I feel it does offer protection but the shield is a pain to live with on a motorcycle. I guess you get what you pay for.

I would stay away from any of the big twins, an I4 600 will eat them for lunch. Junky under perfoming turds, every one of them.

Buy whatever you shoot the best. I am not a Glock fan boy and I hate the way it feels in my hand but I can out shoot every other pistol I have shot with it. Rent what you think you might want to buy, do not go by holding it at the display case; how it fits your hand is only part of how well it will shoot for you.

If you want to have fun at the range then get the G34, plus it makes a nice home defense weapon. The G34 is more accurate than the G17 for range duty but only equal to it for home defense as both use the same magazines. The G17 is not the best range gun they make is more accurate than the G19 but not as concealable. If you think you might want to carry the G19 is a great choice because it conceals almost as well as the G26 and is almost as accurate as the G17 plus it will hold G17 magazines for extra capacity so it lends itself for both duties. (Carry and home defense not range.) If the G34 didn't exist the G19 is what I would own. I have a G34 and am in search of a good price on a G26.

We were pushing and I was being selfish since it had been so long since I had ridden that I wasn't riding by normal group riding pace. If we had been slowing down like normal between curves the guy on the 14 might not have gone down. I trusted you guys to ride within your limits and probably should have changed how we were riding with a new guy or gone out on my own. Have you heard from him or do you know how to contact him. I wonder how he is doing.

I meant to post this sooner but didn't get around to it. I crossed the double yellow on this ride so for the second time in about five years I feel like I crashed. The first time was on 536 a few years ago and now this ride. We all make mistakes and hopefully learn from them. I hadn't ridden in a long time this summer and looked in my mirrors to see where everyone was at which is something I never do for this very reason. The road went downhill and to the right and I wasn't prepared for it. Luckily I could see the whole curve and the road was clear on the other side. I might have been able to save it if there were a vehicle traveling the other direction but I gave up on it when I saw it was clear. Be careful out there guys; you can get bit at anytime and if you are pushing the pace, pay attention.

When you get your license renewed take your DD214 with you so the armed forces logo can be put on your license. Supposedly this will suffice as proof at Home Depot for the 10% discount and others may honor it as well. This is what I was told when I had my license renewed. I run veteran plates and they still made me bring my DD214 to them again to get this put on my license. I have not tried this so I don't know how it works.

I do not understand this repeated statement of being qualified to hold a job that is unique and no one has ever held before. Other than the minimum criteria already in place that everyone meets how does one get to be more qualified than another?

On that note the 2008 elections had a 72% turnout and this one was projected at 55%. My county only had a 47% turnout. I get what you're saying but some would argue that there isn't a definitive difference between the parties so they don't feel the need to pick one. Different perspective, same result.

Every president meets the minimum requirements. No first term president has ever held the position before so how is anyone "qualified" for the position? What criteria beyond what is already established do you suggest we add? I have one, prior honorary military experience.

Usually being an asshole is fun and I thought this thread would be more fun but soon realized it was fail. I just couldn't pull off being a lefty gun banner with any real flair. I apologize for my attempt failing to entertain even me; I thought it had so much potential at the start. Where were all the anti gun people at?
