How is that any different than letting somebody do a major overhaul or repair? This one my grandpa built and had almost 500 hrs on it before it sat around for 8 years and I decided she needed a facelift, and actually there are less homebuilt accidents then "certified" by percentage of course, I'll see if I can find the ad in sport aviation from a few months ago.. Edit: yes that is a chevy corvair engine on the right that came out of and is going back in the airplane on the left

Lol Pdloyfad!! I took my 1999 ducati 750 SS from cinci to Boston, 17 hrs straight each way! On the way there I thought ' I'm a young harda$$, k can ride until my fuel light comes on, 200+ miles' that lasted one round! By the end I was stopping at every exit in mass. Made it there in the same time as coming back, on the way home I stopped every 100 miles If it took 1 minute or 5 hours! And spent 2 hours at niagra falls. And an hour waiting on the sun to come up (I was freezing!). Took the same time Both ways!

The person I bought her off of only road her a season. And claimed the previous PO bought her and rode Her up the rode and was scared of It!! Lol. I've been on smaller bikes that had more pull!!

I must defend my Duc's honor!!! She's a 1999 750SS, (two valve, not a lot of HP). But I paid 2K for her in 2007, she Kelly Bluebooked at 5k then, now keep In mind my first track is later this year, so I can't (won't) comment on that, but from a maintenance standpoint, I have only had her at the dealership to change the oil in the forks, I did the valve shims and belts myself, and it was pretty easy! And yes I know that was a VERY long sentence!!!

I will be at the speedway on 41 and N elm in Troy, oh (exit 74 off of 75) at 1630 on June 25 and I plan on taking a nice easy ride up 55 to Urbana, grab a burger at the smallest hole in the wall place I can find, then heading back the same direction. If you want to ride then great! If you don't want to ride or don't want to ride ATGATT, my feelings won't be hurt. I will have at MINIMUM helmet, gloves, jacket, tall boots, and long jeans.[
