    A nice pic

That's awesome!! I bet you are a proud papa!!
  4. 1999 ducat 750SS Just finished my first valve job (runs better then ever!) Fast by feracci slip o exhaust, was there when I bought it, haven't looked into performance of it yet... But it's nice and quiet at low RPM and when riding with my Harley buddies (don't hold it against me!) they can hear me when I open the throttle up! Not sure if the powercommander has been flashed for current set up, checking that next week. Bought the bike off a redneck ( I'm one too so don't hate) that had no idea how to treat a ducati, so I'm finding more and more stuff as I go, but at least the valves are good now! Removed all of the FOX stickers from previous owner. Will be sporting half fairings until I get a new set of full fairings (read: had a party, jerk knocked over my bike cracked full fairing kit...) But I'm still riding and ordering a new front tire soon, the front is a touring tire that belongs on a gold wing???? WTF???? 11k miles now
  5. I was able to find what I needed from there! Thanks!!
  6. I'm a member of zombie response squad, I can get to it thru the direct link, but can't find it on my browser or on tappatalk? (iPhone app) any ideas? Feel free to let me know I'm an idiot and it's something stupid!!
  7. Can't believe nobody mentioned 'The Evil Dead" trilogy! "SHOP SMART, SHOP S-MART!!"

That would be great if you could send that link! Or just a tour someday, as long as you don't mind a slower pace

Just got the mechanical parts I need in so hopefully I'll be riding into work tonight, I'll probly just leave it naked, (looks better then the half fairings). If not tonight, tomorrow for sure!

Well that stinks. I'm hoping to actually get some seat time in this weekend, I'll let ya know if I plan in going out for a long ride and let ya know!
  13. I highly recommend your first lessons be in taildraggers!
  14. I have two, but dont think that means anything! Got them both from my grandpa. One im rebuilding the other im keeping airworthy!
  15. I want to say that I have seen this before, like when I was less then a squid (no bike) thinking "man that's cool". I also grew up in BFE a half hour from a walmart... Seriously I graduated with less then 60 people! Lol. At least I'm honest!!!
  16. I must say that anybody willing to be with a woman that has a kiddo from a previously relationship is a heck of a guy, that kinda thing isnt easy... regardless of the reason or rhyme
  17. Have you been going thru my gun cabinet again? I thought i had that thing hidden!!!
  18. thats a good looking box that I would consider, but I also have a short bed, that my 1999 Ducati 750ss fits in great, and my 1978 Suxuki GS550E BARELY fits in! looks like the Duc would go to just barely and suzuki not at all with the tail gate up. I personally like the tail gate up for the extra security, that way if the straps break, I have a slightly damaged bike as opposed to a bike dumped all over the road.. just my two cents, and my truck is a short bed as well,
  19. So i have seen a few posts on here regarding aviation of some sort, and just wondering how many people are into flying and motorcycles? My Grandpa is a HUGE influence in my life, I have been riding around the country with him in airplanes since I was potty trained, and he has also always had motorcycles around! My current rides are 2 Wheeled: 1999 Ducati 750SS, 1978 Suzuki GS550 winged: Pietenpol (being rebuilt) and a Taylorcraft that is all but ready to go! blue skies and safe riding! reminds me of something a friend told me. "Piloting an airplane isnt flying, is driving a boat considered swimming?" lol just one of those comments that sticks with you!
  20. So I was putting the valves back in my ducat, and while installing the lower valve closing seat, I dropped one of the half rings that holds it in place.. Sure enough I am 99.99999% positive it went right down the oil return port. After buying almost $75 in the smallest magnets. Could, and wasting another $75 in oil, to try and flush it out. I called Ducati Indy who said "dont worry about it, there are a couple pockets it can hide in but the only place it can go is the sump screen". Damn was I releived!!! And the half ring is on order now!
  21. I like this one much better, biggest downside is you have to deploy from somewhere high, airplane, hot airplane balloon etc... He was in Sport Aviation magazine couple months ago http://mobile.france24.com//en/20080926-jet-pack-flyer-crosses-channel-aviation
  22. Welcome! What part of dayton are you in? I'm just up the road in Troy an getting my 750SS put back together
