I am looking to build this same set up over the winter. 1250 bandit sport tour set up. If the timing was better I would be all over your bike. And I use to have a 2000 bandit 1200 with about the same work as you and had no problems keeping up with the r1 cbr guys if not passing some of them on my old man bike. Some one needs to buy my damn triple already lol!

Fin has ok prices, they are $30 higher then vances(or nces as my dumb ass typed) There is a small shop in canton that is where I got my xd9sc kit from paid $469 out the door for it at a medina show. The kit comes with a mag holder, a plastic belt holster, thumb loader for mags, the gun and two mags in a nice size case. The essentials kit comes with the gun and mag(don't know 1 or 2) $399 for essentials at vances $429 for the kit. $459 at fin.

Bad you can shoot my xd's if we go up there then you just have to rent the others. nces has the xd essentials package for $399 and the kit for $429. Storm and m&p is a bit more like 450 or 460?

I have only owned the M&P and 2 xd 9mm. I liked the M&P was a good gun I am left handed also, I had it set up for left mag release. I did not like the trgger on the m&p was about the only gripe I had. I now have two springfields. one sc9mm and one service model. You want to meet up at stonewall to give them a try sometime let me know. I looked at the storm didnt care for it much. Also not a big glock fan they dont fit my short wide hands well. Sig makes some nice 9mm as well but a bit more money then the ones you listed. My xd9sc will carry 13+1 of powerball or critcal defense, think that will stop even the most drugged up attacker.

^^Thats how I feel. I use a owb holster and if it prints my shirt or hangs out a bit from the bottom? oh well. I have a iwb i use once in awhile. but for most other times use the owb.

Ammo depends on how it was stored. Sealed spam cans can be good for over 50 years. boxes stored in damp area alot less then that.What cal. is the two model 51 remingtons? .32 or .380?

What Chevy said, clean them real good and oil them. I would say check out gunbroker.com to see what they may be worth. If they have any sentimental value keep them after the cleaning. Some others said the camp perry model I have been talking about is overkill for a starter AR. But like you said buy once.

Lance Armstrong I am not but I do enjoy doing a nice long ride on the diamondback. I have even been thinking about doing the trails in medina.

I got a dicks diamond back with front shocks only. off road style of bike, works fine for my rides. I use it for the bike path here by wallace lake and some light dirt riding. It is somewhat heavy but so am I. If you want to drop 5 bills on a trek of some thing else to have it sit in the garage go ahead. My bike has been beat up going down some hills an trails and has been fine with my walrus ass on it.

AH yeah cause a $100 buis is better then a $45 iron sight? I am not in the sand box last I checked. Iron sights are back ups, not like they need to be the best high end stuff. It is the crome barrel not lined also.

I have a case already, mags are cheap to buy, and I dont like the front sights or hand guard. I would buy the camp perry from the medina show before I bought that package deal. same price better gun. I comes with the flip up front and rear sights. A full quad rail, with vertical fore grip and a upgraded trigger and barrel. same gun as they have listed for the $999 package but a hundred bucks lower with better sights and a quad rail.

164 is a good road but not one of the top 5 in ohio. Maybe in the top 15, but for being as far north east as it is it's pretty good.
