  1. The Party Song, sheesh! I was so proud of myself back in HS when i could sing it verbatim cause it was the fastest song i could do, lol. sadly i dont know if we had one of those creepy guys at the Wayne parking lot, we just had enough weirdos in the school as it was.
  2. i'll be back in dayton in june permanently so if you can wait til then...
  3. Nick, do you wanna come to a party? My friends pick me up in a truck at 11:30. The things at a frat house, the people are cool there.
  4. LOL! that's actually a pretty accurate estimation. i've done that on a few occasions and even the ones who pull up on the sensor still take like 3 minutes to get the hint that waving them up means "GET UP ON THE BAR!"
  5. +1, the r6 was the first coolant change i ever did and no problems so far.
  6. done that before too, neutral, kickstand, crosswalk button, run back to bike, GOOOOOOOO!!!!
  7. 225 is normal? i've never been above 200 even in heavy traffic.
  8. lol, my boxer does the same thing, only they sprint instead of waddle.
  9. +1, hence the dark smoke visor. but it's good to see a celebrity motorcyclist that isn't ben worthlessburger
  10. i've had the car for 3 years now and no coolant change, engine still stays under 180* all the time. never have put anymore of it in and i've wondered if you could just flush and fill it with something else. sounds like i can. /endthreadjack
  11. i'm with you. I was the first of my local friends to get a bike then i had 3 pick one up over the last year. they always got girlfriends to hang out with or some stupid reason not to ride. might have ridden with one of them 4-5 times in the past 2 years.
  12. you *could* screw it up if you put that stupid Volkswagen G12 coolant in there and had regular ethylene glycol coolant. mixture reportedly turns to jello in the engine... not that you'd go to a VW dealer and pay out the ass for it, lol. i sadly have a car with that stupid stuff in it.

    Net Books

if you want a small PC with long battery life and dont want to deal with the rather shitty performance of a netbook, look into something like the Asus UL30VT or UL80VT. Both outlast netbook battery life (10-12 hours of real reported usage) and have real processors in them (Core 2 Duo CULVs) as well as switchable graphics chips (intel integrated and nvidia discrete), which means they can do real computing and gaming too. I was originally wanting something small and portable like a netbook until i looked into these. bit more expensive is the only drawback.
  14. not sure if it was nbc4 or not, but there was another similar report where they talked with one of the guys from Integrity Cycles about motorcycle safety and watching out for bikes in the wake of the two recent accidents.
  15. R6 + D&D = no tickets so far.
  16. i did see that too. surprise the white house buys cars from the company they own 60some% stock in and thus give big publicity to a product they have a direct interest in it's success. totally fair competition. gonna be interesting watching the presidential convoy stop and plug in.
  17. i get the "phasing in" i just thought there might be some political undercurrent to it, like since it gives everyone involved a shot at reelection before anyone finds out if the new laws start to suck.
  18. Just watching abcnews and this new auto emissions law goes into effect 2014, which is also when parts of the healthcare bill are due to start up. What gives? Why 2014? and as an aside, they kept interviewing all these enviro-hippies from california about the new bill and i kept asking myself "why are we trying to be like california?" can we expect the feds to follow cali's example and just decide to stop sending out tax refund checks?
  19. but when does it become harassment? like was said earlier, schools are public property but you cant stand around shouting about how sex with little kids should be legal (i hope not anyway). can we set up a "protest" outside their church on the public sidewalk and broadcast our disdain for them on loudspeakers so loud that it makes it impossible for the church's sermons to be disruptive? if your free speech can disrupt a funeral, why not a bigoted, hate-filled sermon?
  20. boomers AND the 30 million newly insured ppl
  21. lol, it does feel good to know i'm not the only one. THANKFULLY i dont think the pan is damaged as the old drain plug/new washer is holding the oil in just fine.
