That's a beaut! Have seen this one in person and it is one nice bike - very well cared for. GLWS!

Singing while riding doesn't help either. Unless you sing "SMIDSY" together over and over.RIP rider. Best of wishes out to the son (I think) that is graduating this weekend. That's really tragic for that kid to lose his dad now.

Would be great to meet up. Maybe during the qualifying/practice rounds or Meridian? I also met up with some bike-specific forum peeps at the Honda tent last year.

Genl Adm then get good race day seats. Paddock seemed kinda pricey to me.

I'm with Tonik. Took the class 6 years ago with my wife when I started riding again. We took it in C-Bus at the ODPS on Broad street. Good instructors and class was well run but some of the bikes were a bit worn out. Took the ERC a couple years later and that was not as good but okay. Give 'em some feedback on it and hopefully it'll get addressed. Those guys get paid plus they get to write off gear and stuff for taxes, so they need to do it right.

Got my Indy MotoGP cherry popped last year. Great time. Going again this year with my brother and brother-in-law. For the main event, we're in the E "Penthouse" at end of the front straight R1crusher mentions above. But really, the practice and qualifying are as much fun as the race IMHO. For that, we sat on the mounds toward the back of the track (don't remember which turns) and watched and drank. Motorcycles on Meridian was very cool. Go and take it all in. This is probably gonna be an annual thing for me.

I'd contact the company again.

Another endorsement for Hoblick here. He put a new set of Pilot Road 3s on my CB1100. Awesome work - plus you get the added benefit of shooting the breeze with Ryan, who I think has owned one of every type of motorcycle ever made.

Seems like it doesn't even need to be winter. A cold front moves thru and ORDN goes on its period again.

I wanna see video of that. With some spaghetti western music in the background.

Thanks for the heads up on 536. That was almost on the agenda yesterday and I was thinking about it for later this year.

Rode 550, 26, 255 and 800 today. Of all those, 255 is probably in the roughest shape. Maybe 800 was the best. None were new or pristine, none were outright horrible. There is evidence of the trucks. The downhill shoulder of some of the roads is heaving downward in some places. They have been driving some piles beside the road to help shore things up so maybe some new pavement is next. Also, there is some dirt and silt but no more than the usual gravel. Fairly clean. Keep seeing these brown or rust colored trails in the middle of each lane. Are the fracking water trucks leaking stuff on the road? Just so damn happy to be out on the bike and wasn't in a particularly critical or analytical mood. So this isn't the most detailed report. Something like 365 miles today and it was the slab on the way home that was the main complaint.

Amazing detail - almost like you were there. 2k miles tho - no way.

I'm out. Wifey doesn't want me hurting her scoot. Gonna play on the CB somewhere that day.
