Looks like no go on +3. Sigh.. Not even a curtesy I'm canceling call. See everyone shortly
-
Hefty bag! Ha.. You made me laugh. Still no news and no show on the 3 new guys. I'm headin out in 5 min.. So they better hurry! Kids these days... Never on time!
-
leave time is 9:00. It's a short ride..200 miles Should be a short day one has already canceled..so now it's a +3 day at best
-
In theory... Me +4 tomorrow..if everyone can wake up. Warning... Katana Curse has greater chance of taking effect heh.
-
I'll be ok. Looks like my friend is planning on meeting me at 36/71 Shell station. We're going to be there about 8, so just a few minutes before you guys hit it. Assuming we are both on time..We'll keep an eye out for you guys and tag along.
-
quick ride or a long ride...I ride as often as my health allows me to. As you can see by the previous post.. I'm still getting used to new meds, so I'm really extra cautious right now. That means a kinda slow pace for me until I get fully adjusted. (meaning speed limit'ish) When is the next day you're plannin on riding? We can set something up!
-
Feeling better = new pain meds that work. Without the meds, ugh I can still barely move! I'm Still kinda figuring out "proper" dosage.. And the side effects. I guess I'm just going to have to be Extra cautious on this ride since I'm not 100% sure of how I react to them. Today's dose seems like It works well, so this is what I'll use tomorrow. At least I will have had 1 day experience with it. That's also kind of the reason I wanted someone else from the Ville to make the ride this time. At least then I'd have someone with me for the first hour. Ebon usuay sets a pretty good pace for my medicated self.. And of course.. He isn't gonna make this one. Unless we get some new riders, you guys might have to wait on me more then usual. My goal is to get home safe, no matter how long it takes me! As always though.. I truly am just happy to be there, and I feel blessed that I am able to be on two wheels at all. A slow pace is 1000x better then a NO pace!

Rain delay until Sunday! It has absolutely nothing to do with me being able to make it Sunday, I'm only trying to keep you guys dry!
-
From what I hear, those ditches are Extremely scenic. It's like you can almost Feel and Smell all of the dirt/grass/mud! That's truly a scenic route!

So, this is next week right?

Moose has a great point there, and it was So nice of Him to volunteer to lead you guys for a ride. Sometimes, he can be a great guy!

Iblacklist is an app available for the iphone. I dunno if its available for yours or not. You can set up custom messages. I used to have mine say.. "I'm sorry, the number you are trying to reach is either out of service, or has been disconnected. Please try again later, and thank you for using AT&T" It confused a lot of people..it was great!
-
Let me know if you ride it next weekend, I'd be willing to go again...and have nothing planned.
-
If Jcmathis's offer won't work..you can stay at my place. I have a spare room...but..my 190lb mastiff doesn't always welcome guests..so it might be a little rough until he gets used to you. The puppy loves everyone though heh I'm in marysville, an hour away from the meet up spot. I just can't compete with his offer lol..just glad you are able to make it to the ride!

I've been seeing a lot of bikes out lately in our city..any of you guys/gals Brave enough to go on the CSBA ride this Saturday? I'm always the only one from the "ville that shows up on these rides. Come on people! They are great people, and we always have a good time. This is a short ride of just under 200 miles. (from Marysville it will be around 300 if you go back to meet up spot at end of ride.)Any type of bikes are welcome, and any skill of rider as well. Just ride at Your own Safe pace! Our fearless leader is Great at making sure No One gets left behind. There has been a few female riders on the rides as well, so you ladies don't think it's a guys only thing. (many times, it has been guys only though..I don't want to mislead you) They are leaving the meet up spot at 9am, so if anyone is interested..post up or send me a PM.. we can meet up at Lowes/Dunham's parking at 7:15..head out at 7:30. That will give us plenty of time to stop at the speedway right beside meet up spot and get gassed up. So post back, or send me a PM. Hope to see someone else from the 'Ville riding with us this time. CSBA ride link http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=63948 Hope to see you there!

I'm interested in this as well. Any date works for me, with some advance notice anyways.
-
It's only time, and gas money! At least it's an easier ride the some, so 500miles won't be AS bad as if it were a more challenging route. Jcmathis also used to offer a place to stay the night before the rides for ot of towners. I'm pretty sure he still does, but don't quote me for sure. He is probably 30min from he meet up spot. Make a much easier day for you.
-
Jcmathis should have a fairly accurate time for you.. Him and, I think he said Phil have already ridden the route to check things out. My guess, would be just that, a guess heh. I'll let a wiser person quote a time. Also depends how many katanas show up!
-
Would like to make it, but I'll be on the Csba ride. Wish this was on Sunday. Best of luck to you, and hope you have a lot of fun, and everyone returns home safely!
-
The roads might not be the best... But the quality of people that usually go on the rides more then make up for it. CSBA rides are always a good time!
-
Get your priorities straight man! This group of great people only get together once a month! You know you will be missing out on lots of fun. It's a short ride, not even 200 miles. You can sneak that in. Just tell the misses that you are taking a study break and gonna ride around the block. Just don't specify it's going to be one LARGE country block! Just offer up some drinks and some pizza.. And throw yourself a Moving party. You are a pretty cool guy, and you Know there would be a lot of people willing to help you out. I am one that is more then willing to help. See.. This idea definitely can save you enough time that you could make the ride with us! Show up and ride with us, and I'll help you as soon as the ride is finished even. There are probably others that also would be willing. That is of course... if you don't mind me being stinky and sweaty from riding in the 90+ heat with my Kevlar gear! What do we have to do to get you to ride!

Thank you all for the wonderful support, and kind words. It was a nice surprise to log back in and see the replies that were here. While my pain hasn't gotten any better, I think my attitude improved by reading the replies. Thank you all! This just proves that Bikers are awesome people, and that this is the BEST site around.
-
guess I gotta start laying of the pain meds..as that just confused me! You have a wonderfully, wicked way with words woman!

Nah, UP is ok. He's just giving me a hard time for missing his ride this weekend. Sarcasm can just be hard to pick up on in written words. I've ridden with him a couple of times, and have talked to him several times..I'm sure he's just fooling around.
