  1. Damn, sorry to hear that David. You can hit up some sites like ronayers.com if you want to get direct-OEM replacements, I'm doing that for some replacement parts on the RR. Glad to hear you're OK.
  2. Pazzo's, turn sigs, and O2 eliminator arrived today, right on time. Put the Pazzo's on with no problem at all.
  3. with or without the fairing rash?
  4. i'm out-ski. Just got my spark plugs in today, Pazzo's will be arriving tomorrow, bike's still in pieces, and I'm just finishing re-installing the OS on my netbook. Think I'm going to geek out tonight.
  5. You've got an entire thread of people crawling on the walls to fix this bike up. Something tells me that's not going to be a problem. You just rest up, we got this.
  6. What the hell do you think McCain is doing? An aide probably has to run his Facebook wall posts past someone in McCain's (or anyone else for that matter) staff before they are posted. Hence the latest copout excuse "It wasn't me, it was an overzealous staffer!"
  7. My comment before goes triple for this kid. Nice find.
  8. Get that kid a little larger frame and send him loose on the Dragon. I guarantee he'll annihilate 90% of the Harley squids out there. Super awesome points: Have him wear a short over his gest saying you just got owned by a 8 year old.
  9. I got 2:30 into the original video before my head almost exploded. And I thought I had social women issues.
  10. Don't be so quick to judge, freeballin' it can be a very rewarding experience. Freeballin' with old man balls however is grounds for a cockpunch.
  11. That's OK, you didn't really want to find them anyway.
  12. I'm on this. Let me know where and when, I'll take the whole day off work if I have to.
  13. No worries here. As was said, if they have a problem with spending 4 cents a minute to call long distance, you don't want to be there in the first place.
  14. must..get..bike..back together... <blog> So yesterday I get my DynaBeads from some interweb place, going to put those in the tire and finally put in my spiffy Amsoil I picked up from IP. Oil change went well, pulled the lower cowl off to discover I had some weird dark green stuff in the coolant reservoir, and no coolant in there to speak of. Pulled the reservoir, there's an forest of algae growing inside. It stained the inside of the plastic so much that I couldn't tell where the coolant line was. Swished some bleach through there, even some dish soap, rinsed with 10 gallons of water, nothing. I needed to get some other Honda fasteners anyway, looks like I'll be adding a reservoir pod to it. Spark plugs are coming tomorrow, I'm holding off on those until I figure out what's up with the plastics. </blog>
  15. 12oclocker could beat that guys ass.
  16. dubguy, you may be well served with getting a couple of fumoto oil drain valves. They take the place of the stock oil drain bolt, and have a little petcock inside that you can use to drain as little or as much oil as you need. They come a few variations depending on what you're after, some have a nipple for a drain hose so you don't have to take your fairings off. Only 20 bucks or so last I checked.
  17. You still selling this thing? You should PM Likwid, he might be interested.
  18. Wow, you really make this WAY too easy. Do you make a habit of making all your arguments false, or is that just the way they come out on the keyboard?
  19. What the hell does that have to do with anything? Excellent! Everyone knows the Germans always make good stuff. I am aware of this fact. You wouldn't happen to be Todd Palin, would you? Yes, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Since we've clearly deviated from my original question (dmagicglock gave a little answer, you ducked it entirely Todd), I ask another. We can clearly agree on the premise that there will be a cost associated with health care, whether it's spread out over the populace or paid per person before or after treatments are administered. My question is this: are you completely OK with being one major accident away from complete financial ruin? It is possible with the current healthcare system in place that you can get into a survivable accident, be covered under your insurance, but still have multiple tens of thousands in medical bills. Are you OK with this?
  20. Come on man, now you're just injecting hyperbole. Obama news network? You're better than that. Name me one state-run news agency besides NPR. You want truly non-biased news? Someone who just reports the events without trying to inject their own personal or corporate agenda? Look to the BBC. I've found the Beeb to be one of the most objective people out there.
  21. So you agree that Fox's news plays to the conservative bias of their audience? Wouldn't that render "fair and balanced" moot and false advertising and violate journalistic integrity? Wouldn't that essentially make them an "entertainment" show and not a news program? Kinda like how TDS has "news", but is first and foremost an entertainment show?
  22. Of course there's going to be a difference. The current quality of care, being the status quo, the "reform", which in the mind of the Republicans will be no different than the health care "reform" of Clinton (of which Hillary failed epically) and the complete whitewash of Bush, which landed a few senators into cushy pharma lobbying jobs, and the evil, scary Obama plan, which will have much better quality of care once the death panels start whacking all the elderly population that tie up all the hot nurses so they can give me a sponge bath when I get an owie. Which leads me to... I would not presume to debate you on this, because you are absolutely correct. In no way can the current for-profit, cover our ass at all costs even if it means overtesting and overmedicating the shit out of you system possibly take the burden of an additional 30 million people. THAT'S WHY IT DOESN'T WORK IN THE FIRST PLACE. THIS is the fundamental reason why it needs to be changed. I happen to work for a manufacturing company, so this tickles me a little. Yes, when you increase production volume, quality will drop. It will drop as briefly or as long as it takes for you to find the weak links in your process, and tighten that shit up. However, we aren't making doctors on the assembly line here. dmagicglock, you should know by now that this isn't about changing anyone's view, it's about a healthy discourse without all the OBAMA'S A SEKRET MOOSLIM! jibba-jabba that seems to be so prevalent nowadays. And if you didn't want to get sucked into a debate, you wouldn't have responded to my post. So seriously, how does someone go from using his national talk show as a podum to demand complete health care reform to vehemently defending the current system in 16 months?
