That's quite a well-informed opinion you have there, I can see why you don't talk about politics a lot. Ah, the old slippery-slope argument(fallacy). See also: gay marriage turning into bestiality, certain ammo bans turning into an all-out ban on guns, drug legalization turning into addicts around every corner...

Like I said, it's "socialism Tourette's". Keep using it in public as another 4 letter word and eventually it becomes one.

Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act PPACA aka Obamacare
Cheech replied to Uncle Punk's topic in Dumpster
The individual mandate, or the ACA itself? -
Nothing will foster a connection between you and your bike as quickly as getting in there with a teardown and re-assembly. Not many things are as likely to drain your wallet faster either, but them's the breaks Also, you may want to invest in one or two of these to keep errant screws and other bits into. Very useful, and VERY cheep. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60149673/?query=pruta

Have fun, man. With the way you wistfully described your time in the Army, this isn't entirely surprising. I wish you the best, and keep your head down out there Also, I call dibs on at least one of your less-expensive pistols (should you decide to sell). Be gentle with me, as I am long on heart but short on budget.

If it's anything like Columbus's, lemme save you 3 hours of slabbin' Arrive in formation like badasses Park 2, maybe 3 laps around the parking lot, looking at the same bikes every week Watch a jam-packed bar full of leather vests and doorags chain-drinking Go eat somewhere else because the wait is a hour for a table Ride home

I want a citation for this, not because I don't believe you but because this seems really plausible and I really want to know definitively one way or the other. If I'm paying for a business to pull my shit out of a ditch, there was no property/personal/any damage of any kind, and I find out that said business snitched me out to the police, I'd be fucking livid. If it's a state law, then I want the ORC number. Thankfully, I've been put in this situation only once, and I got left from my group. A member of this board found me out of the clear blue sky, came back with his truck, dusted me off, helped me load the bike on the bed, talked the county sheriff into NOT giving me the same ticket the OP got, THEN drove me 45 min. back home.

Jeni's is made exclusively with Snowville milk from Athens, OH, which a majority of Giant Eagle's and possibly some Krogers are carrying around here. Maybe even you godless heathens in Cleveland and Cincy have it by now. Yeah, it's more expensive than the regular stuff and it goes bad a little faster, but I swear it tastes 10x better than the normal factory farm, 100% corn-fed stuff. Also, Snowville doesn't homogenize their milk so the fat is still intact and tastes fucking delicious. You can take a gallon of their whole milk and churn out your own butter since nobody screwed with the natural fat, which all you SHTF'ers might want to pay some attention to for your stockpiles.

Price drop to $100 firm, that plus a couple of bucks at a machine shop will be able to make the pin that I lost and you'll have a full-functioning 9mm pistol for WAY cheap.

I can't see the video at work, and the website is short on details that aren't video related. Can anyone explain what the hell this is?

It's not for the children, it's for every-fucking-body else on the street. It infuriates me that every Wednesday asstons of riders (sportbike too, but mostly cruisers and the VAST majority of cruisers are Harleys) suck down beer after beer at QSL then ride or walk RIGHT PAST LEO's, whether they be county sheriffs or CPD.

Have to raise the bullshit flag on that one, unless you have some case law or legal precedent to back that up. The cops arent goading you into going to the bar and drinking alcohol, you're doing it all by yourself, and that (the police "bullying" you to commit a crime you would not otherwise have done) is the opposite definition of entrapment.

Yup, 3k at max, even with the low miles. He better offload it before September/October, otherwise he's REALLY going to be disappointed.

Back during Midway's heyday you had a chance. Now, not so much. If you're feeling frisky, I'm told Great Northern still has some flareups every now and again, or you can just opt for the sure thing and head down to Parmatown. I hear those security guys have their own APC's.

This is true, however if your credit is less than fucking spectacular you're going to get RAPED on the interest rate. I got a $1500 loan in 2001 secured by some computers that I had and ended up with close to 30% on it. My credit at that time was pretty well trashed, and I had close to no income at all, so I took what I could get.

Wow. I'm just picturing some 400 pound dude that plows every last dollar into tacticooling up his Airsoft M4. Of course, SPECOPS and that Gecko dude are the same person. Good find. The bit about planning on taking MULTIPLE .338 Lapua rounds to the back is LOL-worthy on it's own. If this kid had written this today instead of 2001, I'd bet hard currency he'd be trying to acquire a Juggernaut suit like in MW3 and trying to stop multiple .50 rounds with his face.

As Bad said, that's some serious bullshit. It will HELP your score to pay it off early, however if you're looking to (re)build history, then it might be in your best interest to suck it up, deal with the full interest burden, and keep making the standard monthly payments until it's paid off naturally.

More than likely. I keep forgetting that those are FI'ed, I thought there would be something in the bowls as well. You would be very well served to grab a can of Seafoam and put some of that in there. Don't go crazy with it, the can will tell you how much to put in with the amount of gas you have, and more isn't necessarily better. I'd run that through your first tank or two, then see if things are better. Did you check your air filter as well?

The great circle of the Internet. When God (err, kawi) calls a troll home, another one emerges in short order to take their place, ensuring a near-constant supply of lulz and entertainment for the rest of us. Please, vvvpr, enlighten us on how, exactly, you are a "freedom fighter" simply by virtue of strapping on your assless chaps, mounting your tassle-laden Harley, and embarking on a ride that will take you no more than 50 miles round-trip with 4 stops at local "watering holes" to take shots of Jack "'Murica, goddamnit!" Daniels.

Citation or bullshits. I can make up numbers too. This is how it was explained to me by the assholes in the Worthington PD. If the freeway is divided in any way (concrete median, K-rail, grass median, so on), you need an endorsement to ride. This includes state routes like 315, and non-limited access like 23 north of 270 (or wherever it starts to split), you get the idea. The rest is self-explanatory, and covered above.
-
Well, you can suck it up and pay once for the endorsement, or you can pay multiple times for license violations. Try explaining to the cop and the judge how you have eleventy billion years of riding experience as he tickets you for being out at night on a highway, and let me know how that defense goes for you.

Just looked at the barrel, and the locking block retaining screw is directly in front of the locking block. I need the pin that's behind it.

So about 4 years ago I bought this Helwan Brigadier (Egyptian clone of a Beretta 1951 Brigadier) at a gun store up north of Columbus for about $250. I put about 250 rounds through this thing before I brought it to my buddy's get-together where my pistol met Ed. Ed is a complete idiot when it comes to guns, and it is because of him that I have booted out people who can't properly handle firearms. Anyway, Ed somehow finds the takedown lever on the slide and separates the slide from the chassis. That wouldn't be a problem, unless he dropped a key pin that sits right under the barrel into the brush, and that puppy is gone forever. I have not attempted to fire any rounds through it since that happened. The slide is highly erratic, sometimes it will fully cycle back, most of the time it will not. If you can find this pin (or even have it machined), you can have yourself a cheap, reliable service pistol. In 250 rounds, it hasn't misfired or jammed on me once. Safety and mag release are all working fine. Pistol comes with two magazines, and snap caps if I still have them. Asking for $150, they are currently selling for $300. The part that I'm looking for is here, it's the pin directly to the left of 5A. It's about 2, maybe 3cm in length with a blunt-pointed end on one side. I'll try and throw some pics up when I get home.

Unless you've got a rewards card with a shitload of points on it and renting cars every month like I used to, you really aren't getting shit. The best I can offer you is to try priceline and see what you can get through that. Fucking karma too, I had a MOUNTAIN of activity with Enterprise but they never had a rewards program. I quit my job and stop traveling, they get a rewards program.
